LOCATION: COMPREHENSIVE HIGH SCHOOL (MR ANUME’S OFFICE)

KNOCK! KNOCK!!

“Come in the door is open.” Mr. Anume approved from inside. Cynthia (Daniel’s girlfriend) walked sadly into the office.

“Have you sit Cynthia.” Mr. Anume offered and Cynthia sluggishly sat down.

“How may I help you?” Mr. Anume asked suspiciously.

“Sir…” Cynthia paused.

“Sir, I want to ask if you heard anything about Daniel and Ola?” Cynthia asked with eyes shook with tears.

“Daniel and Ola, you mean those guys that were accused of rape?” Mr. Anume asked.

“Yes sir, but I am very sure they are not the rapist sir, it was all a false accusation.” Cynthia riposted with tears in her eyes.

“Cynthia, you don’t need to cry, I know and confirmed they were falsely accused but everything is just a matter of time… I believe everything will be alright” Mr. Anume uttered with serious impression.

“Sir, I hope they are alright, I miss them a lot, they are my friends but I’m helpless and weak, sir, please do something.” Cynthia pleaded as tears dropped freely from her eyes. Just then, someone entered the office without knocking the door.

“Mr. Anume…” The female teacher called but unfinished.

“Are you so senseless that you can’t even knock before you enter?” Mr. Anume blasted the female teacher.

“But what’s your problem Mr. Anume? Your mouth is watering too much and you know I am a married woman, you don’t have any right to open that gutter you call a mouth and be raining abusive words on me.” The female teacher riposted.

“You fool!” Mr. Anume exclaimed angrily as he rose on his feet.

“Actually, I am not here for your childish behaviors, I’m mature and sensible unlike you and there is an adage that says ‘silent is the best answer for a fool’ a fool like you to be precise.” The teacher blasted as she hissed and she walked out of Mr. Anume’s office dejectedly.

“Where is Anume?” Mrs. Benita asked with frown face.

“That idiot is in his office, he is there with a female student, I don’t really know what they are doing but when I barged into his office, I met him caressing the little girl.” The female teacher responded.

“What? Oh my God! You mean you caught Mr. Anume doing in the act?” Mrs. Benita screamed and asked stunningly.

“Yes ma, I saw him with my two eyes.” The teacher replied.

“Ehn… that is also nice and interesting, it is of my own benefit.” Mrs. Benita thought and she gave out a wicked smile.

“You can go Mrs. Adams, I know what to do.” Mrs. Benita concluded as Mrs. Adams left for the staffroom.
