A beautiful car parked at the front of chief Rufus gate, a young man who is assumed to be the driver came down from the car and opened the back door for the owner to come down, lol and behold Katy came down gracefully from the car looking very hot and sexy on the beautiful black gown she wore, she even put of black spec just the make her dressing look hotter, she looked at the gate, walked close to it and press the bell there,..

just then the gateman opened the gate and peeped through it, he was surprised to see a beautiful lady standing there, so Katy removed her spec and greeted the gateman ”good afternoon young man”, she greeted ”afternoon fine aunty! abeg u dey find somebody? the gateman asked ”dont u remember me? anyway it me ur madam’s friend, I have been trying her line for the past three weeks now but it wasn’t going through so I decided to come by myself”, Katy said ”ok now I remember u! my madam friend”, the gateman said looking at Katy at the same time looking at the beautiful car parked in front of their gate

”aunty problem dey o”, the gateman said looking worried ”problem as how? pls talk to me”, Katy asked confusedly ”na my oga o! chief Rufus! him don warn me say him no wan see any visitors here without former invitation!! him say if I go against him order him go sack me! abeg I want make u try understand”, the gateman said ”what?? that is rubbish! so my friend is not allowed to welcome any of her relations or friends? that is arrant rubbish! help me go inside and tell her that her friend Katy is at the gate, maybe she can come out for we to talk! wat kind of marriage is this? Godforbid”, Katy said and made a face

”even to call her come out for this gate na risk! abeg aunty try understand”, the gateman said ”this is beginning to bore me, am off, joe pls come and drive me out from here”, Katy said to her driver and made to turn when she heard her name from inside the compound, she looked in and was very surprised to see a whole Betty looking very pale coming towards her direction

”aaaah! madam abeg oga go shout for me if u come out from this gate”, the gateman said looking outside the gate to know if chief Rufus was coming ”will u shut up ur mouth there and go inside”, Betty angrily said before she ran and hugged Katy ”no let me loose my job o”, the gateman said hissed and walked inside

”that is ur concern”, Betty replied him before turning to Katy ”aaaah babe longest time, have really missed u alots, oh my God! just look at the way u are shinning? Katy! are u sure u are the one? and by the way who owns this beautiful car here”, Betty asked looking at the car ”chill girlfriend! one question after the other! but wait! why are u looking so pale and unkempt? I thought u got married to a rich man? and why did the gateman said u are not permitted to welcome any of ur loved ones? Katy asked confusedly

”hmmmm!! my dear friend u will not understand! u will not understand wat I have been going through in this marriage! come lets go inside first so I can explain to u”, Betty said and held Katy’s hand ”but I thought u are not permitted to welcome anyone inside? Katy asked ”just don’t worry let’s go! forget about wat that useless man I call my husband will do! come lets go inside and talk better, have Missed u so much”, Betty said as they both went inside without minding the gateman

”katy my friend I would have asked u wat to offer u but there is nothing in this house except water”, Betty said as a drop of tears fell from her eyes

”this is serious! anyway no problem, forget about the entertainment am fine! so Betty pls talk to me, wat is happening? u are not the beautiful Betty I used to know! u have really changed! u looks so skinny and tattered! but I thought u married a rich man? Betty pls talk to me am so curious to know”, Katy said feeling concern for Betty

”katy!! my life is messed up! this man I got married to is nothing but a stingy and calculating type, he don’t even give me Kobo in this house, whenever I asked him for money for food, he will bring out his calculator from his pocket and calculate every dame thing, to top it all, he even knows the whole price of food items in the market, I don’t see Kobo from him! I am dying in this marriage! I regret ever listening to my father! I regret taking ur advise and my mother’s advise for granted, how I wish God will give me second chance, I will use it well!! Katy! not all that glitters are gold! not every rich men are rich men! Katy am sorry for not listening to u! am very sorry! and the useless man threatened me not to go back to my father else he will arrest me and lock me up in a cell! Katy! am tired”, Betty explained with tears dropping down her eyes ”oh my God! this is serious! I never knew u were suffering this way, I have been trying ur line but it wasn’t going through that was why I came”, Katy sadly said ”the bastard seized my phone! anyway forget about me and my so called husband! I brought this upon myself! so tell me, how is life with u? have u finally meet a rich man who bought that beautiful car for u? pls gist me”, Betty said smiling fadling ”another man? no oo! am still with my love kelvin, and as a matter of fact that is one of his car! he gave it to me the day he proposed to me”, Kate blew the boombshell

”wait wait wait! u mean that same poor looking kelvin who was toasting me then gave u that car? Betty asked in a surprised and confused tone ”yes! kelvin gave me that car! that car is even the smallest among all his cars! kelvin is not a poor man as we thought! he was just on disguise just to look for true love! my dear friend! kelvin we thought was a poor wreched man, is a millionaire”, Katy said as Betty couldn’t control herself anymore, she fell on the ground crying a cry of regret.
