Betty got to her room and collapse on the bed crying her eyes out ”wat kind of a man is this? look at the problem I have putting myself into because of love of money! I was carried away by a rich man but I never knew I got married to stingy and calculating person! oh God pls save me from this bondage I call marriage! this is all my father’s fault! I should have listened to my mother at the first place! now look at where I have landed myself! oh! my father has ruined my life! God pls give me a second chance,I promise coolval stories not to misused it! what kind of a man did I even got married to? he even have the gut to seize my phone! to top it all, he doesn’t give me Kobo in this house! right now I am very broke! I should have listened to my friend Katy! oh God pls come to my rescue”, Betty cried rolling herself on the bed like a baby.

”katy pls there is something I want to show u,pls close ur eyes”, kelvin said ”i hope there is no problem? Katy asked confusedly ”not at all dear! pls just close ur eyes”, kelvin repeated as Katy smiled and closed her eyes,..after like some second ”ok now u can now open it”, kelvin said as Katy slowly opened her eyes and was surprised to see kelvin kneeling holding a diamond ring ”katy! I know it might be too early but I don’t just want to loose u for anything, I want u to be with me for ever and I want u to be the mother of all my children! pls Katy will u marry me”, kelvin asked still kneeling, Katy on hearing that blushed, stood up and held Kelvin’s hand ”yes I will marry u”, Katy said without hesitation, as kelvin smiled and engaged her, then stood up and hug her passionately.

”papa Betty! pls eat ur food before it gets cold! since I brought the food to u, u haven’t even uncovered it talk more of eating it! pls my husband is anything bothering u, pls talk to me am ur wife”, Betty’s mother said ”why will I eat when Betty my daughter, eversince she got married, we haven’t heard from her! even the money chief Rufus promise to give me, last week, I still haven’t heard from him, he even promise to renovate this house for us, but yet no sight of him, his number is not even going through at all! my most annoyance is that our own daughter Betty who promise to be sending money for me, has not even for once fulfill her promise”, Betty’s father complained ”is that why u haven’t touched ur food? anyway that one is ur business and not mine! if u like starve urself because of Betty and her husband! afterall u are the one who chooses her husband for her, now why complaining? pls I have important thing to do at the kitchen! ur problem is not my headache”, Betty’s mother said and made to turn when Betty’s father stopped her ”if not that u are my wife, I would have used my hand to plug out ur two eyes! senseless woman! u are so senseless to the bone! come on get out of my presence before I bath u with my saliva! I even thought I was complaining to a human being! old woman”, Betty’s father cursed ”u are the one who is senseless and stupid for giving ur daughter out so cheaply! go and eat money na”, Betty’s mother fired back, hissed and walked straight to the kitchen ”this woman is really getting on my nerves!! anyway that one concerned her! she is not even my problem! and as for Betty! I will go and visit her in two days time to know why she haven’t be fulfilling her promise, same with chief”, Betty’s father said and uncovered his food.

”where is this little gal? chief Rufus said immediately he entered Betty’s room, ”wat are u doing here this rittle gal? I thought I told u to bling the rist for the food items u wlote? oh u are even clying?my fliend will u get up flom there and give me the rist before I hit ur big head on that wall”, chief Rufus said boning ”i haven’t written it already! Betty said worried ”but I thought u told me that u have lighting it already! so u ried to me? u want to thief me abi? ur pran Willie not work! now tear a shit of paper and wlite wat I will say”, chief Rufus said, as Betty fearfully picked up a shit of paper besides her pillow ”maggi star 10 naira! half delica of lice 50 naila! onions 10 naila! glinded pepper 5 naila! this small gal I hope u are wlitten it down”, chief Rufus asked ”chief I will not write it down! wat kind of nonsense is this? u have the money but hardly spend it! which one is pepper 5 naira! am tired pls I want to go back to my father’s house where u picked me”, Betty cried ”shut up ur mouth u this smally gal, wat do u even know? cockroach!! don’t wolly ret me go and wlite it downstairs, calcurate it and bling the rist for u!! nonsense gal”, chief Rufus said and walked away leaving Betty in tears and regrets.
