Katy was returning back from lecture when kelvin and his friend Paul came out from nowhere and approached her, Katy on seeing the way they jumped out from nowhere almost ran ”oh my gosh u guys scared me”, Katy said breathing heavily, holding her chest ”oh we are so sorry! we didn’t mean to scare u! sorry for that”, kelvin apologize ”it alright! so wat are u guys doing here? Katy asked ”let me just say we are here waiting for u and ur friend because I know this is the way u guys always follow when returning back from lecture! errrm by the way where is my princess? I mean ur friend Betty”, kelvin asked

”yea she didn’t come to lecture today! she was complaining about feeling headache”, Katy said ”oh my! but I hope it not that serious? kelvin asked in a concerned tone ”no it not that serious! it just a slightly headache”, Katy said ”ok dear! oh sorry for my manners! this is my friend Paul! Paul this is the friend of the angel I was telling about”, kelvin introduced as they both exchange pleasantly

”katy pls there is something I want to tell u! something that is eating me up”, kelvin said ”i did u even know my name? anyway wat is it that u want to tell me? Katy asked ”it about that ur friend Betty! to be honest with u I really like her so much but I don’t know why she acted that way that day”, kelvin said ”hahahaha! anyway that is Betty for u! she is so full of herself! and as long as u are poor asking her out, u are wasting ur time”, Katy said

”oh really? Paul asked ”yes!! that is Betty for u”, Katy replied ”i will love to see this Betty of a girl”, Paul said ”pls Katy! can u pls give me the address to her house let me pay her a visit”, kelvin said ”u want to go to Betty’s father’s house after wat Betty did to u! and Betty’s father is one of a crazy man, whenever he sees a poor person in his house, he will use cutlass to chase that person away! I advise u don’t go because of had I known”, Katy said ”dont worry about that! just help me with the address”, kelvin said while Katy nodded a ok and gave him the address.

Two days later, kelvin and Paul went to Betty’s father’s house, on reaching there they knocked at the door ”come in the door is opened”, came the voice of Betty’s mother, just then kelvin and his friend walked in holding a black nylon containing two bottles of schnapps, it obvious kelvin has come to do some introduction of himself ”good evening ma”, kelvin and Paul both greeted at the same time

”evening my son! are u looking for someone? Betty’s mother asked looking at the black nylon on Kelvin’s hand ”well actually ma! I am here for Betty, is she around? kelvin asked ”she is not back here for lecture! I hope all is well? she asked ”all is well ma! let me do a little introduction of myself to u ma! my name is Kevin and this is my friend Paul! ma! I really like ur daughter and I want to marry her! that was why I came for introduction”, kelvin said

”u guys should have a seat let me call my husband! u are welcome”, she said and walked away, but later came back with Betty’s father, immediately Betty’s father sighted them wearing bathroom slippers, he frowned his face instantly but later composed himself ”good evening sir”, kelvin and Paul both greeted both greeted but got no reply ”are u people the guys that wants to marry my pretty daughter? he asked with a squeezed face

”yea actually is me sir”, kelvin said smiling ”i can see! so how many houses and cars do u have? Betty’s father mocked ”haba papa Betty! must u asked that kind of question? Betty’s mother asked and eyed Betty’s father ”old woman just shut up ur mouth there or I push u from that chair”, Betty’s father angrily said and hissed.
