The Chauffeur Job - S01 E10

I followed the car into a big estate in the city. I Followed closely behind to keep low.

I was confused more when i noticed that the noise and sruggling that was coming from the car had died down.

The car stopped slowly in front of a big duplex with very high walls and big blue gates. Quuckly and carefully, i parked behind some other cars that were parked by the road side on the silent street.

Few seconds later, i saw from afar as eva was led out carefully out of the car. I strained my eyes to try if i could see the expression on her face but her head was hung downwards. Her two bodygaurds supported her on each sides as they all went inside.

I rubbed my hair thinking of what to do, different thoughts ran through my empty head, was this house one of her dads? Does it belong to a friend?, besides, is the death of the minister and his wife. It was still morning and i remembered my friends would be in the bar already . Quickly, i brought out my phone and i put a call through to tony.

“hey man” tony hollered on the other end.

“its worse now bro” i blurted

“what? He ate the car already? ” tony asked jockingly.

“oh shut up!, the minister is dead, his wife too”

“what, you kidding me? ” surprise sounded in his voice.

“i dunno man, i was supposed to drive her to the mall, but halfway,i was ordered by her bodygaurds to turn back and head home and mehn, when we got home, her two parents were lying dead already” i explained sniffing all through.

“man thats gross!, thats some kinda assassination there”

“i know i know”

“you know you aint save” tony adviced.

“yea i know i shouldnt be concerend but theres something that keeps drawing my attention”

And so i told him about the unusual big chain and the missing pendant.

“that dosent make any sense bro! ” tony commented.

“i know man, i know man, its just not right, i traced their car and im on them right now”

“wtf mehn! You want a death wish? Get the f--k out of there now”

I fell on my bed lazily heaving a tired sigh. I moved to the side to give room for my dog. We were both really tired, acting spy through out the day was no easy job, there was nothing to hold onto tho.

I dragged myself to the kitchen to find food for myself and sparrow and luckily, i still had fried chicken and i got a diet coke.

I munched slowly while my dog sat beside me chewing on his bone, he was coming around gradually and infact, he did all of his command perfectly.

My hands were stretched to limits and yet i coouldnt hold on to eva who was now slipping away. I t----t my hand futher and i almost caught het but whoosh! She slipped away finally. Her voice screamed my name asking me for Help….

I ran after her voice till rain began to fall on my face,

I groaned as i opened my eye to see my dog standing over me licking my face.

“arrgh” i groaned as i sat up.

Ive been dreaming all this while.
