I leaned on the Mercedes With my hands free plugged in. It’s been over one hour now since I’ve arrived at the airport and what’s worse? Her plane had landed one hour ago so now where the Heck is she?

I checked my time again and it’s getting late already. I tried reaching the minister but his mobile won’t connect.

Ive decided I would be leaving in the next fifty seconds if I didn’t see her and I was still counting on 46 when I heard a loud commotion behind my car.

I strained my neck to see who the issue was and I saw two guys each Looking down like kids who’s just done some shit.

A lady in big goggles was nagging them with her hands in the air.

“you two are just too foolish!” she yelled at them furiously.

“actually I tri….” one of the guys tried to speak but he was cut short by a hard slap from the lady and Mehn I couldn’t help but feel my cheeks too remebring my own similar experience.

Almost immediately, she turned to face the second guy.

“you wanna say something too? ” she questioned with her finger pointed straightly at the guys face.

Ĺyou’re both fired! ” she declared and began to walk towards my direction. Quickly, I turned away in pretence.

“you, who are you? ” she asked with her arms akimbo.

“sorry? ” I said as I unplugged the handsfree in my ears.

“I said who are you? ” her voice was stern and hard now.

“excuse me? ” I said again to be sure of what I just heard.

“oh god! What the f--k are you doing with my father’s car? ”

“wait are you…..? ” my mouth pursed and then paused as I looked on to seeing the lady who slapped me few days ago as she took off her big goggles. Wait, WTF? Is she t he ministers daughter?

“you, I know you” she reasoned as she observed my face carefully.

“no you don’t. I’m just a driver and I’ll be driving you home” I lied

“well, maybe you look like someone I’ve met” she said again as she rounded the car.

Her bodyguards arrived with her bags and quickly, I opened the trunk for t he m and they dumped it in there. I looked at them scornfully and they stared back angrily.

“pull over ” she ordered as I was about to nose into the compound.

“but I’m just about to determine the compound” I explained carefully as I pointed to the big gate.

“are you nuts? I said pull the f--k over! ”

Quickly like a scared rat, I pulled over to the side and there I killed the engine.

“now you two get down. You’re not fired okay? But you’re off for today ” she announced as she jumped down the car. In no time, the guys were out and walking away already.

I jumped down to help her with her bags and as I bent over to have them, a sharp slap hit my cheeks that I quivered immediately.

“you don’t touch my bags! ” she screamed in terror as she cuddled her bags to her chest.

Mehn, I just withdrew carefully into the car and gently, I eased away.

It’s all Bullshit and I know that of course but what to do? She’s not even my employer but her father. Just today and it won’t happen again.

“aarrrggghhh!!! ” I screamed as I sped away with a hot and throbbing cheek.

“hey sparrow! ” I threw my dog a friendly kick as I entered the house.

“how did you do today? Eaten anything yet? ” I asked the dog who just sat still looking at me like A moron.

“WTF sparrow.. Look I’ve been busy I’m sorry ” I bent to pet h and then my eyes caught something, I moved closer and Mehn, sparrow tore into the couch, pouring out all the foams stuffed in it.

“what did you do that for man? ” I turned horribLying To the dog who was walking away already. I’ve had him six years and he’s never done that before, what is this now uhn.

“I should call the vet very soon” I muttered as I undid my dress.
