Edmond felt so much anguish in his body before the bullet could land into his head. You can imagine how he was feeling knowing that when he felt some financial strength in his life then his life is ended just like that.

The bullet went direct and as it was about to hit him, Edmond immediately shouted on top of his voice ‘aaaaaaaah!”.

Agatha stood there scared seeing how her husband was shouting on top of his voice. Edmond sat there on the bed panting heavily as he looked around.

“Is everything okay?” Agatha asked calmly.

“I need some water” he said as he wiped the sweat on his forehead.

Agatha got a cup of water and gave it to which he drunk rapidly. He then requested for another cup of water which he also drunk half way.

“Are you going to tell me?” Agatha asked once more.

“Tell you what?”

“I can here to wake you up and before I could touch you, you shouted so loudly that I even got scared” Agatha said.

“Why did you want to wake me up?”

“Your friend Mark has come to help you work on your car”

“As early as it is?”

“You have overslept. This is 11:00hrs AM now. Thank goodness today is Saturday because you would have been late for work.” Agatha said as she walked out of the bedroom.

Edmond looked around the room and saw that he was still in that house which burnt completely to ashes. Agatha was still there with him.

“What’s happening?” He tried to make sense of everything.

It then slowly started dawning on him that everything he had gone through was a dream in his prolonged sleep. There was no divorce. No anyamphamvu Ltd. No Hazyondo. No K11,000+ in the bank account. No gun.

“So all this was just a dream?” He asked himself again failing to believe.

He got his phone to check the time. He then saw the message from work inviting him for an urgent meeting at 3pm on that Saturday.

“Meeting on Saturday?” He asked himself as he got dressed up and walked outside.

He went and found mark waiting for him so that they could repair the car. The exchanged greetings.

“But why did you shout like that?” Mark asked.

“You also heard me?”

“Everyone heard of course.”

“I had a bad dream.”

“That’s why you shouldn’t oversleep as a man. You end up having bad dreams.”

“Yeah. And am sorry about your gym”

“What about my gym?”

“Was it not burnt?”

“Are you crazy? My gym was not burnt”

“So it was in my dream too?”

“Obviously! Stop wasting my time here. Get your tools box we work on this. I need to be at the gym by 12.”

Edmond shook him heard and walked back into the house to get the tools box. She found Agatha busy preparing food for lunch. He looked at her from top to down and realised how valuable she was to him. He was also glad that the chairman smashing thing was also in a dream. He walked to her and held her from the back.

“Mmmm what?”

“Do I need to have an explanation when I touch my wife?”.

“No, it’s just that you know… Eee and breakfast has been set a long time ago”

“Okay thank you. I will eat it soon. Am very hungry.”

“You need to eat for real because that shouting was just too much.”

“Honey, the dream I had can be best described as a LION’S DEN” he said.

“Really?”

“Yeah”

“Not CROCODILE DEN?”

The beautiful couple then broke into loud laughter after which Edmond walked to where he kept the tools box.
