Edmond for decided to sort out that guy alone without any help of Mark. He knew that the guy was not someone who could give him trouble beating looking at his stature.

He checked his bank balance to see if it could support him and there was K11,584.70. He was glad that what he had could help him in case of anything.

On the next day, he started finding out about the guy. The first way in which he tried to know the guy was logging on facebook and checking Agatha’s profile. As expected there were some photos of them with the guy tagged. He quickly snooped on the guys profile to check him out. The pictures said it all that the guy was really doing fine in life. There was nothing about what he was doing in life on the profile though. Edmond then got his phone and started transacting using Airtel money doing like he wants to send money to his number to the point where it asks to confirm with the PIN. At that point the name of the user comes, and that’s how he got the name of the guy.

“Leonardo Hazyondo, you will know who I really am” Edmond said to himself as he looked at his picture.

On that day he did not even do much but kept on trying to find ways and means of working out a plan to make him get to Hazyondo.

Late that night, an idea came to his mind. He knew that maybe Agatha was at Hazyongo’s place at that time. So he decided to make a call to her using a private number so that he could track her location. He called as planned.

“Hello”

“Is this Agatha?” He said in a hoarse voice

“Yes, who is this?”

“It’s at Police. We just wanted to tell you that your man…..” He paused clicking on his tracking device.

“That my man what?”

“That your man is handsome. Goodnight” he said after having tracked the location.

“Bingo! I now know where he stays” he said to himself as he retired to bed having achieved something.

The following morning after freshening up, he drove to the location which he tracked the previous night. He drove past the tracked place slowly and he was perplexed with how a fortress the mansion was. It was a two storey house enclosed in a five feet wall fence which had electric wires on top of it which buzzed day in day out. As he drove past the gate he noticed a uniformed security guard.

All these details made it all clear to him that it was not going to be an ease thing to deal with Hazyondo. But this could not slide him back. He became more determined to execute his plan.

Later that afternoon around 17:00 he came again to the mansion of Hazyondo to do some other checks. He stood at a distance watching the house. Just then he saw a van drive into the yard and come out after some minutes then driving past where he was.

As he was still there he saw the same van driving behind him heading to the house. Edmond got out of his car and stopped the van.

“Hey man!” Edmond said to the driver.

“Yes boss”

“I am a friend to Mr Hazyondo and I want to prove a point to him that his security is not uptight. We even had a bet so if I win it, I will give you part of you help me with the plan.” Edmond lied

“I don’t even know you”

“Here check his number if you want to believe” Edmond said showing him the saved number.

“Okay, how can I help you?”

“Carry me in the back of your van and I will drop inside so that you leave me there”

“I don’t trust you”

“Okay, here is a K500 upfront and I will give you a cool K2,000 if you take me in”

No sooner had the driver seen that money than he allowed him into the van. Edmond covered himself in a tent and the drive drove slowly into the backyard where he was getting things out. Before he could start packing, he told Edmond to get out.

“This is a store room where people rarely come. So I won’t lock in order for you to hide in it” said the driver.

It was dark and Edmond was still there in the store room hiding waiting for the time to strike. Hazyondo who came home a bit late for into his bedroom and saw a security beep on his computer. He keyed in the password and noticed that it was directing him to the store room. He then played back the video record of the CCTV camera for the store and saw Edmond get out of the van and enter the room.

“Who is this poor guy?” Hazyondo asked himself.

Hazyondo immediately called his security team to his house. This was a squad of six well trained guys he used to eliminate any sore in his flesh. The squad was there in the living room waiting to be briefed by him.

“There is someone in the store room. I don’t know if he is armed or not. I want you to extract him and bring him here alive” Hazyondo said

All the members of the squad got out and cocked their guns as they strategically walked to the store room. As the door wasn’t locked, the gentlemen just banged into it and before Edmond could even know what was happening, his hands and legs were tied, his mouth taped. They then carried him into the house where they found Hazyondo sitted.

“Tell me who you are and what you are doing here” Hazyondo asked as he sipped some whiskey.

Before he could answer, one of the guys searched Edmond’s waist and found a pistol tucked into it. It all became evident that he was a very bad news of a person.

“Tell me what you are doing with this gun here!” Shouted Hazyondo.

Edmond couldn’t say anything though the tape had been removed from his mouth.

Seeing the silence, Hazyondo walked up stairs and changed into some dark clothes. He then walked down the stairs as he cocked his pistol too.

“Since he doesn’t want to talk, let’s take him to the warehouse and kill this fool” Hazyondo said as he was heading out.

“Please, I came for my wife Agatha” Edmond shouted.

“Is Agatha your wife?”

“Yes”

“Are you not divorced?”

“Yes but I want to take her back”

“You are late. And you are the people who don’t like watching your exs enjoy life. I will eliminate you once and for all so that I enjoy her in peace. Let’s go guys.” Hazyondo said.

Edmond’s mouth was taped again and his head was covered with a headsock. They then carried him and pushed him into the bonet ofthe car and drove off.

Edmond was the kneeling down in that ware house his hands and legs till tied. They removed the tape from his mouth. The squad surrounded his while Hazyondo stood there in front of him.

“I want to go and rest. Am having a lot of work preparing on how best to do our wedding with Agatha. Say you last words” Hazyondo said as he pointed the gun at him.

“Please spare me and I will not bother you again” Edmond pleaded.

“Let’s imagine you succeeded with your plan and it was you pointing a gun at me, would you have heard my plea? No way”

“Please I will never…..”

“Shut up! This is what happens to men who dump good women and then won’t leave them alone. Say you last words.”

“Please, please”

“Okay, seems like those are your last words.”

Without giving a second thought, Hazyondo pulled the trigger of the gun. Edmond could see the bullet in slow motion from the gun heading direct between his two eyes. It dawned on him that he had a split second to live on this planet earth.
