For two days now, Riley and I were still biffing with one another, we never spoke or communicated with one another… Even at work, we would pass each other as if we’ve never met before.. I for one didn’t care but I was hoping he’d talk to me… It’s been quite lonesome and boring with him around.

As if that wasn’t enough, I got a visit one morning from Cassandra’s father… I was sitting on my chair when he came into my office, without any form of cordiality and decorum. He walked towards my table majestically as if he were some kind of king, and behind him was his snobby daughter who was looking at me with disgust.

Lily ➡ Good morning… How may I help you?

Obaro ➡ Are you Mrs. Christen?

Lily ➡ Yes…

Obaro ➡ I see.. Well its nice to meet you..

Lily ➡ The pleasure is all mine. Have a seat.

Obaro ➡ Cassy.. Go to your lecture hall daddy will take care of this.

Cassandra hesitated for a while. She looked at me up and down and gave out a loud hiss before leaving the office, after that her father and I began to talk.

Obaro ➡ You see Mrs Christen.. My daughter can be quite stubborn a times but giving her a carry over is way too out of the line.

Christen ➡ Well, that wouldn’t have happened if she had given me my due respect as her lecturer and it’s unfortunate to see that she lacks manners.. That why I gave her that carry over, that should teach her a lesson or two.

Obaro ➡ Listen you me you cocky SL*t!… Do you know who I am? Or what I’m capable of? I can get you fired and disgraced… I could ruin your career and your life… You’re playing with fire.

Christen ➡ It’s a shame to see you’re backing up your daughter’s bad manners and using your influence to threaten me.. Anyhow I don’t care… Its a disgrace for a man of your position to be doing things such as this… Now if you don’t mind I’d like you to leave my office..

Obaro ➡ I must say you have guts… It would be a shame to deal with an attractive woman like yourself.. Look let’s talk this out in a more suitable manner… Name your price anything you want.. I’ll give it to you and plus if you want a promotion, I can give it to you all you have to do is spend the night with me..

Christen ➡ Wow.. Your offer is tempting but there’s only one problem.. I’m a lecturer not a whre and I don’t need your filthy chicken change…. You’re a stupid man for talking to me that way! Do you think I’m one of those cheap SLts you tangle with?… Better leave my office, I’ll make you regret ever stepping foot in here.

The idiot was surprised and embarrassed… He kept quiet staring at me for a while before he slowly stood up smiling wickedly at me.

Obaro ➡ You are going to regret talking to me that way.. You’ll see… I’m going to make you pay for humiliating like this…

After that, he turned around and left my office.. I knew he wasn’t messing around when he said that I would pay but I didn’t bother about it.. In that moment, I felt pressed under so I left my office and went to the female staff toilet, as I got in, I collided with Amelia.

Christen ➡ Excuse me..

Amelia ➡ (hisses) Mtcheeew! Excuse you? Who do you think you are?

Christen ➡ Is something bothering you?

Amelia ➡ Acting so high and mighty huh? You think you’re better than all of us huh? Just because you’re beautiful and well shaped doesn’t mean you’re a better woman than I am… You think you can occupy Riley’s time and enjoy him all alone… Well, you’re wrong… I’m going to show you that you’re nothing.

Christen ➡ Yeah, yeah,.. Are you finished? Move out of my way..

I brushed past her and went to ease myself….. Hours later in the evening, I was bed thinking about Riley.. I missed his company and It’s been a while since we had s*x, I held my phone in my hands trying to dial his number but I didn’t.. I just kept staring at the phone.. After a while, I switched off the phone and went to sleep.

In my sleep, I had that same awful dream I had when I first came in this house, only this time it felt realistic .

In the dream, I was holding Riley in my arms crying, his heart was pierced with a knife, The Altros stood above us waiting to take his soul, Rose too was in the dream, She was behind me telling me to let him go.

I woke up abruptly after that.. I sat on the edge of my bed gasping for breath.. My busy was sweaty and I was trembling all over.. I grabbed my phone and called Riley’s number but it was switched off, Just as I was trying to teleport to his house, I felt a presence in my room, Before I could see what it was I felt something pierce the back of my shoulder.. I moaned in pain and fell on the bed.. As I looked back, I was 2 guys with masks.

Assassin 1 ➡ Man.. The boss didn’t tell us we were going to kill a hottie.. See her sexy nyarsh o.

Assassin 2 ➡ I swr! Make we pound her for some minutes na… Before we kill her. I want to taste her nyarsh.

The men charged at me thinking I was helpless and they could do whatever they wanted with me.. As the first one came, I kicked him so hard that he flew right of my room smashing through my bedroom door, The other one seeing his mate in an unconscious state rushed forward to finish the job, He grabbed hold of my hair pulling it hard, I shouted in pain and anger, I pointed my finger in his mid section blasting his stomach with a lightening blast.. His stomach bursted open and his intestines fried like fried chicken.. After that, I went over to the other one who was trying to get up. I came towards his place and stomped his leg crushing it mercilessly and effortlessly.. The man shouted in pain and horror grabbing hold of his leg.

Assassin 2 ➡ (shouts) ARRRRGGGHHHHHH!! MY LEG O… MY LEEEEGGGG!

Christen ➡ Tell me who sent you.. WHO?

Assassin 2 ➡ Please don’t kill me. I was sent by Mr. Obaro.

Christen ➡ I see.. So he didn’t waste time to doing what he promised… No matter, I’ll deal with him.

Just as I was about to finish him off, Esther came into my house.

Esther ➡ Holy Callipso! Christen.. Wetin happen?

Christen ➡ These men were sent to kill me.

Esther ➡ Where’s the other one?

Christen ➡ Inside my room.

Esther rushed in and saw the other one, She sniffed the smell of his burning intestines, licking ? her lips in relish… I wanted to kill the other one but she stopped me.

Esther ➡ Wait.. Don’t kill him.. I want him.. I want to eat him.

Christen ➡Okay but take him outside,… I don’t want blood on my carpet..

Esther grabbed the two men pulling them outside, I sat on my bed listening to the shouts of the one alive as Esther devoured him mercilessly.. 10 mins later,, She came back to my room, her mouth was stained in blood. She gasped when she saw the wound on the back of my shoulder.

Esther ➡ Oh Christen.. Are you hurt?

Christen ➡ No. I’m fine.. I’ll heal soon enough.

Esther scooped out a little drop of my blood licking it with relish, I felt disgusted when she did that.

Christen ➡D--n it Esther.. What’s the meaning of this?

Esther ➡ Sorry babe. You blood tastes so good.. Can I lick you wound for you?

Christen ➡ No! Absolutely not.. Wetin bring you here self?

Esther ➡ Geez.. I came to visit you..

Christen ➡ Thanks.. But I’d like you to leave..

Esther ➡ Gosh… Why are you been so aggressive.. Besides who’s trying to kill you?

Christen ➡ One idiot… He did all this just because I disciplined his daughter.. He has no idea who he’s dealing with.

Esther ➡ So you’re going to kill him then?

Christen ➡ Not yet.. But tomorrow, I’m going to have a chat with his daughter.
