Of all places I never thought I’d see Khalid here, him punching me was shocking enough, but it’s not like it was his fault.. He was being manipulated by the TOS.

As I got up trying to calm him down, He rushed at me with another punch but I dodged, he kept throwing punches at me and I kept dodging.

Riley Khalid! It’s me Riley…

Khalid Liar! You monster… I’ll kill you.

Khalid rushed and grabbed hold of me from my midsection, he then lifted me up and slammed me on the ground, after that he sat on my stomach and grabbed my throat, He was busy growling trying to choke me to death, out of desperation I used my symbol marked hand and put it on his face trying to push him off, as soon as my hand touched his face, He let go of me and fell backwards as if he was dead.

I checked on him and saw he was still alive only that he may be in some kind of coma. I took Khalid to a safe place and ran after the damned entity of darkness, but before I could reach it’s place, it disintegrated into a cloud of smoke and began to fly away, I stood watching it as it disappeared out of sight, I was pissed thinking it was gotten away then in that moment, The symbol on my hand glowed, then surprisingly something began to happen to my sight, somehow I was able to see traces or tracks of the TOS, I began to follow it as fast as I could.

30 minutes later, I found myself standing in front of a mechanic workshop , this was where the track stopped, the dark entity must be in here somewhere , as I tried opening the door, I found it was closed with a chain and a padlock, as I held the padlock with my right hand , something strange happened.. The symbol glowed and the padlock began to melt quickly, I moved back letting go of it, and within seconds, it melted together with the chain, after that, I opened the door and went into the workshop.

Everywhere was dark and quiet as I walked in, it was so quiet one could hear a pin fall. As I went in further, I began to hear some kind of noise, as if air had blown into the place, I stood still watching my surroundings, then suddenly just a few steps ahead of me, I came face to face with the entity of darkness..

It stood looking at me as if it was expecting me, I too stood on my guard watching it closely, then suddenly as if it was being provoked, it began to show some sign of aggressiveness, it began to bare out claws and fangs, trying to intimidate me, I stood transfixed where I was holding the necklace as tightly as I could, then suddenly without warning, It charged coming straight at me with the intent to kill, it then jumped and hurled itself at me, Out of fear, I stretched my right hand to block it’s attack, in that moment, something astonishing happened.

As my hand was stretched out, the symbol glowed again opening a small red portal, and out of the portal, Chains made of fire emerged out of it coiling itself around the TOS.. As soon as the damned thing was bounded ; the portal closed.

The creature began roll on the ground trying to break free from the chain, but the more it tried the more tighter the chain held it.. Seeing that it was in deep mess, it gave out a loud scream.

EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!

The scream was so deafening and devastating, I had to block my ears to block the sound but despite that I could still hear the sound,… As it kept screaming, the workshop began to crumble slowly, the sound waves was tearing the place apart, I began to wonder why it was screaming, it was probably calling for help, So I managed to get up and went over to it’s place, as soon as I got there, I placed my hand on its head.

As soon as I did that , it stopped screaming and it’s body began to turn into stone. I watched with shock as it’s entire physique transformed into stone, after that, I got up and found a crowbar laying on the floor, after grabbing hold of it, i raised it up and smashed the stone to pieces, amidst the rubble, I found three medallions laying there. On each of the medallions there was an emblem of animals , one was a snake, the other was fox and the last was a tiger.

All these three medallions were the core of the Trinity of sins, and they could be activated again by Satania if she got here hands on them,…. Well that won’t be happening.

In that instant, I took all three medallions and left the workshop, I quickly went back to Khalid to see if he was okay, then men that were fighting before were still there but there was no struggle, instead they all stood bewildered staring at each other, as I got to Khalid’s place, I found him sitting on ground scratching his head.

Riley Khalid!

Khalid Mallam Riley….. Oh.

Riley Are you alright?

Khalid Yeah. I think so.. How did i get here?

Riley I don’t really know..

Khalid I was inside watching a football match and next thing I know is that people are fighting.. After that everything went dark.. My head hurts..

Riley Don’t worry.. I’ll get you home.

Khalid No.. I can manage.. By the way.. How’s Christen?

Riley Christen?? Oh.. She’s fine..

Khalid You shouldn’t be out here.. You need to be by her side you know.. Since she’s pregnant..

Riley Yeah… You’re right.. Are you sure you can go home?

Khalid Yeah.. I will manage, besides its not that far.

Riley Okay then. Good night.

Khalid Good night..

After that, I walked away leaving Khalid, I wanted to use the teleporting spell that Christen taught me but I need to get away from the crowd, A while later, I found a corner and hid myself there, After following all the necessary processes, I chanted the spell and in an instant, I was gone.

Seconds later, I popped into Christen’s bedroom, she wasn’t inside but I could hear people talking downstairs, I left the room and went out to meet her, I just hope Monife hasn’t done too much damage, as soon as I went down the stairs, a bolt of lightening was fired in my direction, an explosion erupted sending me flying backwards.

CRAKABOOM !!!

After that terrible night I was attacked, I decided to find a place to hide, somewhere I could never be found, in the end, I found the perfect place to hide and that was the sky, I used levitation magic to make it float in the air and I used the chameleon spell to make the house blend in with the clouds .

Through out the day, I stayed inside the house enjoying myself, I had no visitors and I don’t need any… The view I got was very pleasant and beautiful, there was no noise, no disturbance, just peace and quiet, a perfect solace of solitude. Why didn’t I think of this soon? The atmosphere here was fantastic and refreshing, maybe I would stay here for the time being after all I’m being hunted but I couldn’t help but worry about Riley.

About later in the evening, I got a visit from Rose, Oliver, Esther and jenny, I was surprised how they knew where I was, I never told any one about this place.

Christen What are you all doing here?

Rose My, my… Is that how to receive your guests?

Esther Oh Christen you poor thing! Are you alright?

Christen I’m fine.. I’m okay.

Oliver You nut case! Do you have any idea the trouble you’re in?

Christen What??

Oliver You killed the witch enforcers! Now the council wants your head.

Rose They deserved it… Besides I was impressed to what you did to the forest.. What a work of art.. I had no ides you had this kind of power.

Christen How did you know I…??? Where you there when I was battling them?

Rose Of course! I watched the whole thing, best front seat I’ve ever sat on.. You were fantastic.

Christen I almost got killed! And you were watching??

Rose So you handled them…

Christen You’re so unbelievable…

Rose Well… Enough of that… Jenny has something to tell you. It’s rather shocking… Lay it on her.

Jenny Christen!! You won’t believe what I just saw, I…..

In that moment, we heard a loud thud upstairs in my bedroom, we all kept quiet and listened to what was happening, soon we heard footsteps and the sound of my bedroom door opening, In that instant, Rose pointed her right finger and fired a ricochet lightening blast at the direction of my room. The blast exploded making the entire house shake tremendously.

Christen Are you crazy???

Rose What?? There’s an intruder in your room… I did the right thing..

I ignored her and went upstairs cautious with my every step, as I got up, I was shocked to see the intruder was none other that Riley… He lay there flat on the ground, groaning in pain, I rushed to his side to check if he was alright

Christen Riley! Riley! Oh no… Please.. Riley.. Are you alright?

Riley Huh??

Christen Riley! Baby.. It’s me Christen… Are you alright?

Riley didn’t reply, he laid down lifeless and limp, I quickly used my body healing spell to revive him, and shortly after that, Riley soon woke up, he sat up looking bewildered around the place as he laid his eyes on me, he pulled me closer and gave me a kiss.

Riley Oh Christen! How I’ve missed you.

Christen Hold on! What do you think you’re doing!?

Riley What?? What did I do?

Christen Oh please don’t play dumb.. You know what I’m talking about…

I pushed him off and went downstairs, He followed me steadily to the living room, Everyone was surprised to see him.

Rose Riley??

Oliver How is this possible?

Jenny I thought you were dead.

Christen What are you both talking about?

Jenny You told me to watch Monife right? Well earlier this evening, I overheard her talking about how she killed Riley.. She’s even told the council he’s the one causing the recent riots and he’s also working with Satania.

Oliver But here he is.. By the way, isn’t it true?

Riley Hold on.. I don’t what happened while I was away but let me tell you what happened.

Riley told us everything that happened right from that night he left the house to go and see his friends, I felt so angry when I heard what Monife did to Riley… So all this time she was using Riley’s identity to cause problems.. She must have been the one that told the council about my pregnancy…

Esther So how did you get out of the cave? How come you’re walking?

Riley Christen! Remember the witch you said your grandmother told you about?

Christen Yes?

Riley Well, she saved my life.. Somehow she knew I was going to be there…. She even..

Suddenly, Riley was interrupted by the sudden appearance of Aunt Jezebel, as soon as she appeared she took a sit next to me to catch her breath.

Christen Aunty! Are you alright?

Jezebel Yes…. I’m fine.. Something just occurred.. Earlier today the people of Ibadan were fighting against each other, then suddenly a shrill voice was heard somewhere in Ibadan, then all of a sudden they stopped fighting..

Christen So?… I don’t understand.. What are you saying?

Riley What she’s saying is someone destroyed the TOS and I’m the person that did it.

All WHAT????

Rose (laughs) You!? Oh please…

Esther a common human like you? Sorry no offense, but I doubt it.

Oliver I agree! What could possibly do? You don’t have any powers or strength.

Christen But honey! Just how did you do it?..

Riley surprised us all by throwing 3 medallions in front of us, Aunt Jezebel took the medallions and examined them.. She then looked at Riley astonishingly for a while.

Jezebel I underestimated you.. But if I may ask? How did you do it?

Riley Well, the witch that saved my life, transported me to hell to seek hell from….

Rose That’s impossible! The living can’t enter the realms of hell, even if they did.. They will never make it out..

Christen Except if you went there in your spiritual form.

Riley That’s what she did.. Alright when she got me into hell, she told me to seek help from Belial..

Christen WHAT?? Please tell me you didn’t!

Riley I did unfortunately… Before I realized I was tricked.. He gave me carved this symbol on my arm.

Christen Why would you do that?

Riley Well, I had to… We don’t have a choice.. We can’t find Satania or her TOS, but with this power I got from Belial I was able to.

Jezebel Do you realize the consequences of what you just did?.

Riley Yes.. And I’m ready to face them.

Christen No!.. No!.. No! Why are you being so selfish huh? So now you’re going to leave me alone with our child , is that it? You promised me you’d stay by my side.

Riley Christen, I’m sorry okay… But tomorrow is never guaranteed.. I too don’t like this.

Jenny So what’s going to happen now?

Jezebel That symbol will allow him to get control of Riley’s body.. Allowing him to walk on this earth.. He’ll be worst than Satania.

Riley Well, that won’t be happening.. After we’re done with Satania, you’ll have to kill me.

Christen No! That won’t be happening.

Riley Christen.. This has to be done.. There has to be a way to get the symbol of your skin.

Riley The only way this symbol is going to come off is when I’m dead.. That’s the only way. Not even your supreme witch can remove this symbol..

Christen You detest me.. Alright then die if you want.. I don’t care. Go let them kill you.

Riley Christen..

Christen Don’t you dare talk to me.. EVER!!!..

Jezebel Enough you two.. This isn’t the time to fight… Now all we need is to find a way to stop Satania.

Riley Well, I have a way but first.. We have to get hold of Monife and make her tell us her location, once that’s done, we’ll get rid of her. Christen and I will..

Christen Didn’t you hear what I say!? I won’t get involved with you… You and I are done.. Kaput.. Finished.. Find someone else to help you out on your endeavor.. And once you’re done with your meeting, I want you to get out of the house.. Don’t make me see you here or else…. Try me and see.

I went back to my bedroom feeling pissed and full of rage, Never in my life have been so annoyed before.. After all those promises and now he telling me a different story ! I’m tired of all this.. If Riley wants to die.. Let him go ahead. I’ve been doing fine before I met him anyways.
