The sudden disappearance of the Vice chancellor brought media right to the very footsteps of the campus… The police came as well asking questions but despite all that nothing was found…

Some fees days later, The mutilated body of the VC was found in his house, His wife and kids were traumatized by what they saw, nobody could tell what happened to him, after all that, his body was buried, Everyone of the staff attended his funeral except Christen who insisted she would not mingle herself in the crowd, Everyone gave their condolences to his wife and children, as for I.. I never felt sorry or pity to what happened to him.. He had gotten what he deserved, but I felt sorry for his wife who is now a widow and his kids who are now fatherless.

Two days after Abegunde’s burial, The bodies of the members of the COC was found hung on the tree… Nobody knew who they were but I did… But what surprised me was who did this horrible thing to them.

I was in at Christen’s house when the news appeared on the TV screen, Christen laid on on my laps as we watched the news.,

Riley God.. Who would something like this?

Christen stare into my eyes ominously for a while, before she sat up and gave me an answer.

Christen Riley… How does a goat meat or chicken taste in your mouth when you eat it?

Christen Now.. There’s your answer.. The same way you eat chickens and goat, that’s how we witches eat humans.

Riley But.. We at least fry them before we eat?

Riley No, no, no, What I’m saying is didn’t you once had this feeling that you waned to try?

Christen Yes, when I was young.. But I realized it was horrible.. I couldn’t bear to take another life.. Life is precious no matter how small , it’s indispensable.. But people don’t care about that. That’s why I don’t eat humans but there’s another reason why I don’t eat humans.. Cause once a witch tastes a human flesh, she can’t stop, her desire for it will keep on growing and growing.

Before I knew what was happening, Christen lurched herself at me, she pinned me on down on the sofa staring at me with a wild look on the face.

Riley Darling.. What’s going on? Let me go.

Christen No… I just started to think about what we discussed and I’m feeling hungry.. I’m going to have a taste of you.

Riley (laughs) okay come on.. Stop this Christen.. Stop..

Christen No.. If I’m going to eat humans, I’m going to have to taste you first of all.

I couldn’t believe she said that, I thought she was joking but judging by the look on her face, I could tell she was serious… I tried to break free but Christen held me tight, She bent down opening her mouth as she made her way to my neck, I looked at her teeth and saw her short sharp canines, she could tear my neck easily with them, so as she got close, I reached out and bit her chin slowly, Christen jumped back letting go of me, I pinned her down, tingling her sides as I bit her ears in a playful manner, Christen laughed out hard so much begging me to stop.

Christen (laughs and shouts) AIIIEEEEEE.. HA, HA, HA, HA, Please Riley stop..

Riley I thought you wanted to eat me.. Let me have a taste of you first.

Christen I was only joking.. Please baby stop.

Riley Okay…. Here’s a little more tingle to teach you a lesson.

Christen (shouts) AHHHHHHHH!

Christen quickly pushed me off her and ran with lightening speed to her room, I was amazed how fast she ran, if we were to race now, she would have humiliated me already, so I chased her upstairs and found her on the bed laughing, I joined her on bed and mounted on her kissing her.

Christen Oh Riley..Why am I so powerless around you?

.

Riley Because I’m stronger than you.

.

Christen You know that’s not true.

.

Riley I know.. So what now?

.

Christen I’m hungry.

.

Riley So you still want to eat me? Go ahead, at least I won’t mind.

.

Christen Don’t be silly.. Even if i do eat people, I can never eat you.. But I’m serious though I’m really hungry.

Riley Okay.. Let’s go to my mom’s house.. I’m sure she’s prepared dinner.

Christen Okay let’s go.

After that, Christen and I left the house and went over to my parents place, as we got there, we realized my mom was the only one there because my dad’s car wasn’t around so we entered the house.

As soon as we entered we perceived a delicious aroma coming from the kitchen, and in that moment, my mom came out from the kitchen with a tray of food on her hands.

Riley Evening mom!

Sara Evening Riley… I wasn’t expecting you… And who’s this…. Oh my God.. Christen?

Christen Evening madam…

.

Riley What’s going on?

.

Sara Riley.. Is this the Christen you were telling me about?

Riley Yes.. Have you met her?

.

Sara Yes.. This lovely lady was good to me when I went to loan money from the microfinance bank. Welcome my daughter… It’s so good to see you.

Christen You too ma.

That was when I remembered everything, Christen did tell me that she met my mom some days ago at that death house.. I felt relieved that Christen did the honorable thing of getting her out of there safely, after that we all sat at the table, Mom served us the meal and after that we all began to eat.

Sara So how long have you two been dating?

Riley For two months now.

.

Sara Is that so? Well you look like you’ve known each other for a very long time. So Christen, is my son treating you well.

Christen He’s doing his best ma.

Sara Quiet jor.. Christen do you know he’s spent the last decade doing nothing but work, work, work, his brother is soon getting married and he’s here hanging solo.. This boy is putting himself to waste, just look at his fine masculine features, I’m sure many women are itching to get his attention but he has let work rule over his mind. How did you ever get his attention?

Christen Well, when I first came into his office for an interview, His mouth dropped when he saw me, I wanted to laugh seeing his annoying stare but I saw how long look at me and how cute he was, so I decided to see more of him.. And after that things unfolded on their own.

Sara Wonderful.. Love at first sight. Riley you should be bringing her here every once in a while,… I can’t wait to show her to all the ladies in the church.

Riley Mom, that won’t be necessary.

Christen Sure.. But I have a phobia, I don’t like hanging around crowds..

After the meal, Christen decided to pack the dishes, as she carried them into the kitchen, mom began to talk to me about Christen.

Sara Oh Riley.. I’m so happy you found this nice sweet lady… What’s keeping you from proposing to her?

Riley Mom, I said we need more time.

Sara Look my son, this lady is a rare jem, I’ve never seen any lady like her before.. Please don’t lose her ehn.. Just quicken up the pace and marry her, you both have my blessing if you will get married.

Riley Mom,.. Take it easy.. Everything will be alright..

Sara I hope so..

In that moment, Christen returned from the kitchen and joined us, after spending some minutes, we left my parents house and went back to our place, as we walked side by side holding hands, Christen began to ask what my mom had said.

Christen What did you and your mom discussing when I went to the kitchen?

Riley Well, she wants us to get married..

.

Christen So? What do you think?

.

Riley I don’t know.. You?

.

Christen I don’t know either..

.

After that we kept quiet until we reached to her house, as we got there, We met Rose waiting for us at the front of the house.

Rose Just look at you lovebirds.. Taking a stroll in the night.. Okay now.. Let’s get in.. I have something to discuss.
