She came into my room and stood before me. ” Evening, father. I was sent to clean your room.”

She had a deep coarse voice. I was surprised. Initially I thought all girls living in a covent were pretty.

I swallowed. This was one unattractive girl but there was something off about her. It was as if she knew something I don’t. The way she stared at me without fear chilled my every bones.

” Well, you can have the room,” I said stepping out of her way. ” I’m going for a walk in the garden.”

She didn’t say anything and she continued her cleanup.

Cassandra was waiting for me outside when I stepped out of my lodge.

” I want you to come meet the older nuns,” she said. ” You’ll be having dinner with us all. Thereafter, we meet in the underground room.”

I wanted to ask her about the nun cleaning my room but I decided against it. I’d come to that later.

The older nuns were waiting for me on a long dinner table. I was made to lead prayers, blessed the meals and we ate.

As we ate, we talked about many things. Most of the times Cassandra was the one answering the questions. I only spoke when I felt she needed me to speak.

All these while, I noted that the older nuns disapproved of Cassandra. Although they didn’t show it too plainly but when she wasn’t looking their way, they frowned at her.

This amused me. I sensed jealousy or rather, suspicion. Like come on, Cassandra was Soo young to be in charge of a covent. If I was to judge, she’d be in her mid thirties but that still didn’t cut any ice with the older nuns.

But they didn’t say it.

I on the other hand fascinate them. I could tell from the way they looked at me and smile at my every response that they liked me.

This was an advantage to me. I started to see a rather simple means of getting out of this covent. The older nuns were six in numbers.

One of these six nuns must have a duplicate key to the gates. One way or the other, I’m sure the person I was looking for was amongst one of these six older nuns.

My chance of escaping was as bright as the morning sun.

” Meet me tonight,” Cassandra said to me as we left the dinning table together. ” You eaten well?”

I nodded, feeling biting thoughts disturbing me. During dinner, she had ordered the kitchen staff to prepare a my desert.

Sliced banana mixed with liquid milk and groundnut. This was to help with my sperm production.

Cassandra definitely was keeping to her own side of the deal. Now was the time for me to keep to mine. Trust me, I wasn’t looking forward to this but who am I?

I have to do it, else I was going no where.

Rolling off her body, I laid sprawled out like a dead man.

Four rounds, unbelievable!

Four whole freaking rounds! This was pure madness.

Cassandra sighed contentedly. One thing I can’t seemed to get out of my mind was the probability of her being a beast. I mean, don’t she ever get tired?

Well, this was my second day. Twelve days left to go. Somehow I knew I was going to find a way out of here. There’s no way I can keep s------g this woman every night. I would die.

One think I’d learnt about Cassandra was her fast sleep. Once satisfied, all she wanted was to sleep but Cassandra was a light sleeper. One little sound and she’d flare her eyes wide opened.

Sighing heavily, my eyes feast through the darkness. My mind was still busy. There had to be a way to get hold of those keys.

I would’ve searched her room but her room was always locked, plus we only use the underground room. Which meant I’m never getting my hands on her keys.

Then I remembered the kitchen staffs. There was no way they could ever get across the gates without the keys. So now my mind centered on three different people; Cassandra, one of the older nuns and the kitchen staffs.

” What are you thinking?” Cassandra asked, stirring from her sleep.

I wasn’t stunned. She was such a light sleeper. ” Nothing much. Just don’t feel like sleeping.”

She stared at me through the darkness, her eyes heavy with sleep. ” Don’t tell me, you’re planning on escaping right?”

My heart skipped and I felt something chill running down my spine. How the hell had she guessed that?

” What makes you think that?”

” I’ve been watching you,” she spoke sleepily. ” You’re plotting how to escape, taking a long walk around the whole Covent, inspecting the walls, thinking deeply every now and then, I know the signs. You can’t fool me.”

This was soo unreal. ” Even if I plan on escaping, I can’t. I’d rather complete my two weeks.”

” Good,” Cassandra said, suddenly becoming serious. ” Then complete it. I wouldn’t want a situation where you get yourself hurt in the process of trying to escape. You’re mine for twelve days so it’s better you stick it up a little longer. Don’t waste your time, you can never escape not as long as you are here in my custody. Get that?”

” I won’t escape,” I said, really angry at myself. This woman has caught me off guard. I should have seen it coming.

The first c--k crowed that morning.

When I walked into my room early that morning, I was met with shock.

Sitted on my bed was the unattractive nun.

She raised her face the moment I got in and smiled.

Okay, now what in heavens name is this creepy young nun doing in my room this early hours of the morning?

” Excuse me, sister,” I said to her. ” Is there something I can help you with? This is a priests room. You’re not supposed to be–”

” How was your night?” She asked instead.

My eyes went dim. What was this lady up to? ” What are you talking about? Are you–”

She interrupted again. ” I meant with you and Cassandra.”

My heart lurched up to my mouth and it was with an effort I tried not to throw up in her presence.

My head was spinning. How the hell did she know about Cassandra and I?

” H–how did you know about–”

She cut me short with the wave of her hand. ” I know everything. You’re here because you’re s------g her every night to be free right?”

My body was getting hotter by the minute. I felt like I was getting a high fever or something.

” Who are you?” I asked because that was the only possible question to ask at this circumstances.

She stood up and removed her mask.

Standing before me was a man in nuns clothing.
