Standing out side the old building, I watched the medics carry Andy’s lifeless body inside an ambulance ….

I sighed, this is finally over!

But what will happen to Nick? Will he be convicted for murder?

I shifted my gaze to him, he was standing near with the ambulance with his eyes fixed on his phone ..

he doesn’t even seem to be bothered because there was a smile written all over his face….

I shifted my gaze to my dad ,he was seated on a wheel chair and was talking to the chief police

What are they talking about? I wondered and walked towards them

Dad! I called and he looked up at me

Chase! how are you! Are you alright? he asked rushingly

I am alright, I am just worried about Nick. I answered and he gave me a puzzled look

Why? Is he hurt? Did anything happen to him? he asked with a concern look

No, I am just worried he might be convicted for murder. I said and they both laughed

Not at all , you both are heroes. The chief police joined in the conversation

heroes! I repeated , I was confused

You see we made a proper investigation on Andy or should I say Donald peters ……….

Yes, that is his real name. We got to know he was part of a ruthless gang that terrorised the whole of Sirea years back . he explained

Sirea! Are you trying to say he is a citizen of Sirea? I asked to be sure and he nodded

He was actually on the run and there was a search hunt to either find him dead or alive …..

This is really deep! I remarked

I don’t know how he managed to get into this country but from the look of it , he didn’t change for the better .he added

So what will happen now? I asked

His body will be sent back to his country, we can’t allow a vile person like him to be buried her. My dad answered and I smiled…….

I am proud of you Chase! my dad remarked and I nodded slowly……

I walked towards Nick , he was receiving a call..

I leaned on the ambulance and waited patiently for him to be done with the call……..

I sighed as my mind drifted off to Candy, I was already missing her…….

What would she be doing by now? Sleeping , eating or probably watching the news

I was f-----g sure she would have called if her phone was with her, i kept her phone from her so she can have a proper rest…….

Chase! Nick called distracting from my thoughts ….

Yes. I turned sideways to look at him…….

Are you alright? He asked and I nodded

Who did you call? I asked

Oh! That is Loretta, I spoke to Candy also and she sends her regard. he informed and I smiled…….

It is finally over at last! he remarked, it is finally over……….

hearing the news about Andy’s death, I felt so relieved and elated

The bastard who planned to kill me is finally dead, I pray he rots in hell…..

Glancing at the wall clock , it was 19:00

I sighed in frustration

Why is Chase taking so long?I said aloud and Loretta laughed

She was seated beside me with her eyes glued to her phone…..

Chill Candy! he is on his way . She assured and I rolled my eyes

“She was obviously chatting with her Nick”

Can I please call Chase on your phone? I pleaded and she looked up at me

Chase will soon be here , you just have to wait a little….

But I really want … I was about to say when the door flung opened and Chase and Nick walked in

Chase! I screamed loudly , I tried to get off the bed but he rushed to hold me

What are you trying to do?do you want to hurt yourself? he asked rushingly but I just smiled sheepishly…

I miss you Chase , I really miss you. I said and he chuckled softly

I miss you too baby . he said and gave me a light kiss on my lips……

So now you have seen your Chase , can you now let us rest. Loretta retorted with a playful glare…

I shifted my gaze to her and then looked at Nick who was watching Chase and I quietly…..

Nick! I called and he flashed me a smile,

For? he asked arching his eyebrow

For being my brother . I answered with a grin….

he was about to say something when the door flung opened and my parent with Max walked in……

Candy! Max rushed to hug me and I smiled, he shifted his gaze to Chase who was seated beside me and mouthed his greetings….

Watching my parent hug and exchanging pleasantries with Nick and Loretta

I smiled

Please take good care of my son. I heard my dad say to Loretta ……

I leaned on Chase shoulders and he held me tightly…

Thanks for being by my side always. I said in whispers,you are everything I have ever wished for……

I stared at the crowd as they kept on chanting Chase and I name …

Candy ! Chase! Candy! Chase! they kept on cheering ……

It was Chase second concert and he insisted on singing a duet with me on the big stage …

Are you ready? Chase asked in whispers and I sighed

I am nervous Chase , I have sang in front of a crowd this much I said with a trembling voice and he chuckled lightly

There is always a first time baby, Just be yourself and follow my lead . he assured and I nodded….

he signalled to the instrumentalist and began singing the first part…

Tears of joy rolled down my eyes as I listened to him sing “only you” the song who made him famous and I Popular…..

Shouts of chase and Candy filled the whole air…..

I waved as tears of joy kept on rolling down my eyes….

I was a Popular celebrity just like I have always dreamt to be, and it is all thanks to Chase ……

You did well Candy! Chase remarked distracting me from my thoughts……

he pulled me close to him and the crowd went so wild

I planned on doing it even before they asked for it …

I widened my eyes in surprise , but we are on stage and the whole world is watching…..

That is what I want , I want the whole world to know you belong to me and before I knew it , he placed his lips on mine and kissed me deeply
