With a heavy heart, I ran all the way to the parking lot

I opened the car door and got into the car,bringing out my phone from my pocket, I dialled Nick number.

he picked it on the second ring

hi Chase! how are you ….he tried to say but I cut him off

Nick! I have no time , Andy just called and he is with father. I informed in a rush

D--n! I heard him cursed

he threatened to blow father up in the next 20 minutes if I did not come to him. I added

No Chase! Please don’t go , it will be too risky.he pleaded

So what do expect me to do?should I just fold my hands and let the idiot blow up father. I retorted angrily

So what do you intend on doing? Do you have any plan? he asked rushingly

No, just come over with the cops to the address I will forward to you now .

And be fast about it . I added and ended the call…..

glancing at my wristwatch, it was 16:35.

I sighed in frustration

Only 15 mins left , I can’t let my father die…….

I started the car and drove off at a high speed….

After the call ended , I stepped on brake and and the car skidded to an halt

What is wrong? Who called you? Is it Chase? What did he say?Loretta asked rushingly, she was seated beside me in the passenger seat

Ignoring her questions, I dipped my hands into my pocket and brought out my wallet

What are you trying to do? are we no longer going over to see Candy? She asked and I sighed

You have to go alone . I answered

But why? She asked with a frown

I have something important to take care of.

but Nick I want … she tried to say but I cut her short

Please Just do as I say . I pleaded and she sighed

here. I said handing her some money, use it for your transportation fare

Thanks. She said in appreciation and alighted from the car……

Turning my wheel to the left , I made a u- turn and headed straight to the cops station…..

Staring at the document I was holding, I smiled

At last ! I finally got the Delgado’s wealth , all thanks to Neil

I shifted my gaze to him, he was seated on floor and was watching Bosco treats his wound

Neil! I called with an evil grin and he shifted his gaze to me

Bastard! he cursed and I chuckled softly

If I were you , I will start praying to heavens for forgiveness. I said mockingly and he scoffed

heavens! how dare you call the word heaven with that flirty mouth of you ! how dare you . he yelled

Save your voice Neil, you will be needing it when I blow Off Chase head . I retorted with a grinn

You are Crazy Andy! he cursed, he tried to stand up but Bosco pinned him down..

Easy Bosco!he is already weak, don’t make him any more weaker….

Yes boss! but what of the ….. Bosco tried to say but stopped when we heard a car drive into the compound

I smiled

And it seems your son is not as smart as you think he is . I said staring at Neil

he looked at me and then looked off into space

I smirked, it is time for the game to begin……

On getting to the place , I stopped the car.

I brought out my phone to confirm the address again before driving into the compound…

I alighted from the car and stared at the building, it was so old and looked so shabby..

I huffed

Of all places, why did the bastard ask to meet in this kind of place?

I walked slowly into the building and at the same time , I was looking around

Walking towards a door that was slightly ajar , I took a deep breathe before pushing it wide opened.And on entering, I came face to face with Andy .

Hello Chase! he greeted with a wide grin

Bastard! I cursed , where is my Dad? I asked

Over there . he said pointing to an extreme corner of the room

I followed the direction of his hands and gasp in shock when i saw my dad , she was seated on the floor with a wounded leg

Dad! I called, I tried to run to him but Andy dragged me back roughly

Not so fast Chase! he barked and I glared at him

You want me right? Now I am here , please let me father go . I pleaded

Chase! my dad called softly

I can see you love your father so much to want to trade your life for him. Andy remarked with a grin and I bit my lips in anger

Are you really asking me that ? I want your life . he retorted angrily and I huffed

Chase! my dad called again and I shifted my gaze to him

Dad! he called softly but he just stared on at me , it was as if he was trying to talk to me with his eyes

Are you alright Dad? I asked and he shook his head while looking at a chair behind Andy

Looking at the chair , I immediately understood what my father was trying to tell me. There was a gun on the chair, he was trying to tell me to get a hold of it

I smiled and shifted my gaze to Andy …..

And what will you gain if you kill me? I asked trying to stall him

he laughed aloud

I will gain a lot of things… you see with the true heir of Delgado’s corporations dead , I will be able to spend the money freely

Money! What money! I asked moving closer him

No Andy! I will tell him . the hefty man standing beside my father joined in the conversation

Your dad here sighed all his properties in my name . the man said with a wide smile

Oh! Is this what this is all about? I asked Andy And before he could answer, I kicked him hard on his g---n and rushed to pick up the gun from the chair….

holding the gun, I pointed it at Andy who was still groaning in pain and then at the hefty man

Now it is time to turn the game around. I smirked

Shoot! My dad yelled but I couldn’t… i mean I don’t know even know how to shoot

Shoot! he yelled again and the hefty man laughed

what to do!he doesn’t even know how to use a gun. he said mockingly

Chase! Shoot the d--n gun. My dad yelled and the man continued laughing

Just bring it boy . the hefty man said while moving closer to me..

he smirked and tried to wrestle the gun away from my hand but I did not let go

Collect the d--n gun from him. Andy yelled and in anger, I pulled the trigger in a huff and the hefty man fell down with a loud cry

Facing Andy , I pointed the gun at him

Chase ! Please calm down . he pleaded

Calm down!and why do you think I will listen to you! You ruined the peace in my family, you …..

Watch out! My dad screamed and I turned to see the hefty man crawling towards me

I shook my head in pity

Is this how desperate you are?

I am … he tried to say but I shut him up with a bullet

Andy! have you seen what you have turned me to , you turned me into a murderer. I yelled at him

We can strike a deal Chase , if you let me go i promise not to come after you and your family. he pleaded

Shut up you bastard! I barked at him

he tried to say something but stopped when we heard the cops siren

I sighed in relief

Please Chase don’t do this to me . he pleaded

Move! I yelled and before we got to the door, the police rushed in along with Nick

Chase! Are you alright? Nick asked and I shook my head negatively

I am a murderer Nick . I said with a trembling voice

he shifted his gaze to the dead man and then back at me

You are not a Murderer Chase , you did it to defend your family . he tried to encourage me but I shook my head

No I killed a man

is that what you think? he asked with a smirk and I nodded

Then watch me. he dragged the gun from me and walked towards Andy who was being held by two police men

What is he trying to do? I wondered

Do you think you can go scot free after killing my mother? he yelled at Andy

Please I am … Andy tried to say but he shot him on his legs

Arrrgh! Andy groaned in pain and Nick smirked

That is for shooting my sister

But Nick you can … a cop officer tried to say but it was too late , as Nick pulled the trigger and shot Andy on his temple…….

And with a loud thud, Andy fell to the ground

And that is for killing my mother. I heard him say…….
