Start from the beginning  Woke up on the right side of the bed What’s up with this Prince song inside my head? Hands up if you’re down to get down tonight ‘Cause it’s always a good time As he sang, most of the people began dancing and singing along. I could see William dancing with the blonde and I frowned. I was shaken out of my thoughts when I heard the cue for my part, and I closed my eyes, letting the music drift over me. Good morning and good night I wake up at twilight It’s gonna be alright We don’t even have to try It’s always a good time We broke out with the chorus and I opened my eyes. I turned to look at Alex and we grinned at each other. I could see Stephanie happily dancing with Landon, and Andrew was frowning at us. But, honestly who cares? I could feel any anger I felt disappear as I sang. Soon, the song ended and Uptown Funk by Mark Ronson started playing. Alex was singing his heart out and the young couples in the crowd were whooping and cheering. I coughed, when I saw a few girls ogling and swooning over Alex. Some of them were even giving me death glares. “If only they knew I was his sister”, I chuckled. Alex and I sang for what felt like hours, yet we weren’t even tired. We sang all sorts of songs, from slow to fast-beat pop music. I was currently singing Heart Attack. I looked through the crowd and my eyes met William’s. His face showed that he remembered that day in the car, when I sang this song. He kept his eye contact with me until the blonde woman came back, and took his hand to dance. I rolled my eyes. After I finished, we took a break for dinner. I sat at a table with my family and we were all joking around, well not Andrew.

Eventually, Stephanie had to go to the bathroom so she asked me to watch Landon. I played ‘I Spy’ with Landon while we waited. But Stephanie was taking way too long in the bathroom, and I grew worried. “Alex, can you watch Landon while I check on Stephanie?”, I asked, standing up. “Sure.”, he replied and continued the game for me. I walked towards the hallway with the bathrooms. I heard some muffled noises as I turned the corner, and I gasped at the sight. Some guy was trying to rip Stephanie’s dress off her! She was struggling furiously and I could see her trying to scream. Anger boiled in my veins and I slipped my heels off. I tiptoed behind him, and signaled to Stephanie to remain calm. There was fear and relief in her eyes when she saw me. I took my heel and smashed it against the back of his head. He immediately fell over in pain, clutching his head, and I grabbed Stephanie’s arm dragging her away. “Are you are alright?”, I asked hugging her tightly. Before she could reply, I felt a searing pain in my side. I gasped and Stephanie screamed loudly. “You b---h! Who do you think you are nosing into other people’s business?”. He had stabbed me with a butcher knife. I immediately smashed his family jewels with my knee before doubling over, clutching my side. I was feeling faint and I could hear Stephanie screaming again. Before I fell over, I saw someone leap onto the man and began punching him, while someone else held me. “You’re gonna be okay. I promise.”, a voice said sorrowfully. I smiled softly at the person and faded into the darkness. My last thought was, “Who carries a butcher knife with them?”
