Two years had passed since I finished my Nysc service, I had gotten a job and a nice house, life was good and everything went smooth, ever since I busted the nightshade stuff back in campus, I became quite a celebrity, and it was for that same reason I got a job, Babes were at my disposal and I felt on top of the world.

My cousins Jimmy and Mike had moved to other states cause that’s where they currently work and most of the people I know in the neighborhood are either dead or have moved on to other places.

But my main Guy Mallam Garba was still around, he even got married to another woman, though she was young enough to be his daughter if he had married earlier.

And as for Kate, my one and only Ferrari ride, she too had changed, she was no longer the same lady I used to bang each time I felt h---y and she had also given birth to another child and it was a girl, now she was a dedicated mother, it took a while but she soon got a hang of it, but she never stopped smoking!

As for my brother Bill, he works for one of the major software companies in the world which was Apple! I don’t know how he got it but I was happy for him, He and Helen were as close as ever, they’re even Planning on getting married! Though we never got together, we remained good friends.

As for my friend Zombie, its been a year now since we’ve talked or seen each other, the last time we spoke, he said he was busy doing some agricultural stuff in Ogun, since then I haven’t heard from him.

As for me, life was good, I had a nice paying job and a girlfriend, her name was Aline she was hot as hell, we started dating a few days after I was employed, she was those kind of ladies that was too materialistic but she has her good points, she is my colleague at work, and we were closer than ever.

We went home sometimes together after work, she would sleep at my place sometimes but I never slept n hers. Our colleagues were always calling us names whenever they saw us together! At first I resented it but I got used to it.

Well that’s my life, I was now a responsible young man, facing the challenges of adulthood. Things were going smoothly but something was missing from my life and that was the right partner to spend my life

At first, I wanted to go for Kate, but she still had her ridiculous notion about not marrying, so when Aline and I started dating, we stopped seeing one another.

And Vivian was in overseas with my kids, and she’s no planing on coming back to Nigeria, not after what she went through.

And as for the rest of the ladies, I’ve f----d or dated, they’ve all moved on.

And if you’re all wondering about Cynthia, hers is a mystery! I remembered when she sent me that text unexpectedly, we chatted and talked about alot of things, she told me she was going to return to Nigeria but up till now, she hasn’t and the number she used to chat with was no longer useful.

So I decided to stick to Aline, besides she wasn’t a bad choice either.

One morning in the office, I was working when my phone rang! There was no name except number so I picked up the call.

Johnson Hello, Johnson here.

Regina Hello Johnson, long time no see.

Johnson Regina, Jesus Christ how’ve you been?

Regina I’m fine Johnson, how about you?

Johnson We’re managing now, Regina.

Regina Managing? After going away with those millions, you expect me to believe you’re managing your life.

Johnson Regina, Regina, so how’s work? Still doing the detective stuff?

Regina No Johnson, I’ve retired, i’m now married.

Johnson Wow, congrats o. So any kids?

Regina No luck yet? So about you? Are you still the banger? (Laughs)

Johnson No, that was the past, but I have a girl now and I was Hoping to get married to her.

Regina Johnson, you getting married? Don’t you think its too early?

Johnson Most guys are doing it. Besides I have a house and the means to take care of a woman so….

Regina Na you know…. Just be careful and choose wisely, women nowadays are terrible.

Johnson Don’t worry, Regina this one is a gem.

Regina ended the call after that, I was still surprised when she told me she got married, God, I could still remember the sex we had with each other….. Well that’s the past now, I continued my work signing out some files, as I was doing that, some thing covered my eyes to prevent me from seeing.

Aline Guess who?

Wale and I became friends when we came to apply together for the job, Wale was a funny guy, he likes doing corny jokes to people, and the worst part yet is, He’s a local news caster, he loves to talk and gossip butite all that he’s a cool guy, the ladies in our workplace however don’t like him at all.

Wale had to do some funny dab before he left, he does these two things easily, enlighten someone’s mood and spoil someone’s day… But I have to admit what he says is right, I really don’t know much about Aline cause all we do is go out on dates, say some romantic sweet nonsense to each other and have sex at random, that’s all we do.
