After that day, Cynthia and I patched things up and we’re back together again but we had to deal with one certain issue… The police which she called had actually came.. Fulani had told them what i did, the police came in trying to take me away, Cynthia had to convince them it was a mistake but they didn’t agree in fact they had wanted to take us both thinking we had made them come here for nothing… Finally we had to bribe them to forget about the matter.

The next day, Cynthia and I went to my house to discuss about my on going case and where to find a good lawyer.

Cynthia So how did the case go?

Johnson Babe, it was a disaster, the lawyer I hired was a fake, a scammer, in the end he collected bribe from my enemies so as to ruin me completely…

Cynthia Jesus.. That’s terrible.. So what now?

Johnson The next case is a week away so I have to find a d--n good lawyer… If not..

Cynthia Don’t worry, you won’t go to prison, I’ll see if I can find a good lawyer…

Johnson Thanks baby… Well since we’re here let’s go a little rough..

He walked in and saw Cynthia, he introduced himself to her, despite his change his dialect was still the same..

Johnson Zombie my guy how far?

Zombie Johnson my man! Brother I’m good, you look fresh mah nigga!

Johnson Yeah we thank God… Oh Zombie, this is my fiancee, Cynthia.

Zombie Cynthia… The b---h you told me about, the one you didn’t bang?

Zombie Small talk, its not… Besides its the good stuff, not like the one that these local thugs take, this one is the real motherfucker. We sell it overseas and get real money. I have lots of clients here in Lagos.

Johnson Wow but It’s still illegal though… What if the police catches you?

Zombie (laughs) Police, those monkeys can’t do shit, we pay them not to interfere in our business, in fact they provide security for us. I assure nothing will go wrong.

As we’re talking, Zombies phone began to ring, he excused himself and went to answer the phone, it would seem like someone wanted to buy some of his weed.

I still couldn’t believe this guy was selling weed, the business is lucrative but risky, because once you’re caught, its game over but considering the kind of country we’re in.. Where bribery and corruption has taken root, they don’t have to worry about being caught.

Zombie finished his call, and came back to se down.

Johnson So who was that? A customer?

Zombie Yeah, a very annoying one.. Mrs Tosin, the b---h is a lawyer, always on demand on this stuff, its what get her rolling.

Johnson Wait did you say Tosin? A fair lady, sexy as hell, and well packed?

Zombie Yeah her, do you know her? I have her picture in my phone, lemme show you.

Zombie showed me her picture and speaking of the devil she was the one, she was in bed with Zombie, I figured out as much, Zombie too was a banger, so this annoying b---h was a weed addict… I told Zombie about my current situation and who Tosin was, he listened with rapt attention.

After that, Zombie left my house and went to see Mrs Tosin, soon I quickly got dressed and asked Cynthia to come with me.

Johnson Stop asking questions and do as I tell you, we haven’t got much time.

Cynthia got ready and we left the house, we entered my car and drove off. My main intention was to follow Zombie so I could take pictures of Tosin collecting the weed from him.. As we hit the street, I saw Zombie on a bike so we followed him neatly and from a safe distance, after some minutes, we reached a certain ghetto area, this was a perfect place to make a trade of any kind of substance, Zombie stopped in front of a house and waited for a while, and within minutes the target I was looking for came.

Tosin came in her car, as she parked near Zombie, he handed her the stuff, I made sure I took pictures of that clearly, the next that followed was both Zombie and Tosin exchanged a kiss, I made sure that took was taken. After that, we drove back home as soon as we arrived, Cynthia began to ask questions

Cynthia What was that all about?

Johnson Call it gathering evidence…

Cynthia Really? That seemed like building up a blackmail.. What do you really intend to do.

Johnson Look, the odds are against me and this, this is my ultimate weapon to win this case.

Cynthia Really? And if the lady refuses to co operate will you expose her then?

Johnson She will.. Cooperate.

Cynthia But what if she doesn’t? Are you willing to ruin someone’s life and career just to win this case..

Johnson But baby, you don’t want me to go to prison do you?

Cynthia I don’t want you to go to prison but I also don’t want to you do something awful to someone… Just try winning this case the good old fashioned way. No cheat, no bribe, no blackmail. Okay? I assure you we’ll get a good lawyer..

As we parked the car, we went inside the main building, as we entered the kids were together with some else cause I could see a high heel on the foot mat, It must be Kate probably.

As the kids saw me, they rushed at me giving me hugs but they soon went back to Cynthia, it would seem they knew each other.

Richard Hey Aunty… You look good.

Susan Yes.. You look very lovely.

Cynthia Thank you… Is your mom back?

Richard No not yet… Come let’s go to our room, there’s something we want to show you.

Cynthia Okay… Babe, I’ll be right back.

The kids dragged Cynthia away heading to their rooms I wonder what they wanted to show her.. I decided to sit on the couch and wait for their return, as I was enjoying the cool air-conditioner, Someone I never expected to see came walking in… It was Felicia.

God.. She looks so fat.. not that fat but moderate in between slim and fat, and she sure looked good, she was surprised to see me as well.

In that moment, Cynthia and the kids came back down laughing, it was a good sight seeing how they all got along… Cynthia and Felicia met and exchanged pleasantries… The kids and I watched as the ladies exchanged their womanly gossip..
