Biggie was discharged from the hospital a week after.

*The sun walked directly to my face, waking me up.

I knew i had overslept for i usually woke up early because of my work as a bar owner.

Customers one could term as drunkards normally bung on my door just to have their local drink at dawn.

I heard a slight knock on my door and i knew for sure it was not one of my customers.

They would have bung on the door just like my landlady would do when she went round for her rent.

I walked to the door,spied through the net gate to see who was behind the door that morning before i opened the door.

It was a boy who was sent by a man named Kelvin,one of my friend’s friend.

Kelvin was waiting for me at the pub according to the boy.
I knew Kelvin to be a man of dignity but for what the kid told me i begun contemplating.

Did Kelvin send the boy just to buy some drinks,because some of my customers would do same.

But for Kelvin,i doubted.

Anyway i had to find out myself because he sent a kid,so he could have changed the message.

I brushed up and went to my bar to see Kelvin.
He was neatly dressed up,wearing a black trouser and a white stripped shirt.

Kelvin also wore a black specks which fitted him perfectly.
He is a noble man from a very noble family.

His looks were just perfect.

Kelvin was a gentleman whose character befitted his identity.

The kind of man every woman in my neighbourhood would like to have for keeps.

He greeted me perfectly with a smile on his face and asked if he could have words with me which i consented.

“You know Pebbles,i had been admiring you for sometime now.

Little did i know that you were dating a guy called Biggie.

One of my friend’s just told me that but i wanted to hear from the horse’s own mouth that’s what sent me here this morning.

Nevertheless,i have strong feelings for you Pebbles,and i can’t stop thinking about you for even a single day.

When i see you pass,my heart skips.

My heart beats for only you,Pebbles..

and i just can’t stop myself from loving you…Kelvin proclaimed.

“I was shocked to hear such words from Kelvin because he was the shy type,one i thought less could even propose to a little girl,let alone a big girl like me.

He must have gathered enough courage to do so,or maybe someone told him Biggie and i were no longer dating.

Lots of questions run throgh my mind.

“Surely Biggie and i were dating but we just broke up.

Kelvin,you have to give me some time because i just broke up with my boyfriend.

I have heard all that you said but please give me some time to think it through,his face changed….
