I asked Kelvin to give me a week to think about his proposal which he did.

He started making my store his second home.

Anytime someone looked for him in his house and he was there,his neighbours directed the person to my shop.

Kelvin was fun to be with.

I fell for him two days after his proposal.

I actually wanted to study him closely before making my decision.I even planned extending the two weeks to a month just to test his love for me.

I needed to make sure that I was leaving Biggie for a trustworthy person so I had to use all tricks to test his temper,his love,patience and all that I needed from him before I could accept him to be my man.

He scored 95 on my checklist which included his manners in public,speech and most of all his love for me,Pebbles.

Sometimes,a man has to be patient in order to win a woman’s heart.

The day was still young.Birds were seen singing praises in the sky.

The sky was furious with rain clouds walking helter skelter.
It was seven in the morning.The c–k had already crowed waking me up with that irritating sound.

I jecked off,blushed and move straight to my pub.

It was around eight in the cloudy morning when Kelvin came to my pub.

I knew I had kept him waiting for long because it was three weeks now.

I offered him a chair after we exchanged pleasantries.

He told me he had come for an answer to his proposal.

No sooner had he asked for an answer than Biggie came rushing to cause a scene.
Biggie slapped Kelvin,pushed him to the ground and bounced on him.

I started shouting for men to come seperate them.

Kelvin turned Biggie and gave him some power blows which gave his face some bruises.
Blood started oozing out from his nose which to me seemed to be broken.

Men from the neighbourhood came from nowhere to seperate them.

I had never witnessed such a fierce fight before,let alone witness a fight over me,Pebbles.

When tempers cooled down,I asked Kelvin to go and come no more.

I beseeched me to give him some more time to make it up to me.

After several attempts of persuation,I told him to give me some more time to set things right.

I needed time to thrush issues out with Biggie who nearly died because of me…
