Me: oh no, what is this dream all about?

I couldn’t sleep again due to fear. My body was seriously hurting me allover. I have stayed awake till morning.

EARLY MORNING NEXT DAY...

Time check 7:00am

Mum: Diana!

Me: silent

I couldn’t answer because I was very weak. My body temperature is very high and the wounds on my body were still hurting me seriously.

Mum: Diana! Come down and eat your food naw. Do you want to go late to school?

Me: still silent

My mother was tired calling me. She came to my little pink room and seeing me still sleeping on the bed really provoked her.

Mum: what!! What’s wrong with you. So you have no plans of going to school today.

she said and forcefully removed the blanket that was covering me.

Mum: Oh my God!!

Mum: who did this to you.

Me: weakly I don’t know mum, I don’t.

She felt my temperature and it was really high. She ran to the sitting room and called my dad who came immediately.

Dad: my princess, what!! Who did this to you.

Me: I don’t know dad, I was sleeping when I woke up and saw the marks on me.

Dad: you must have forgotten what happened to you. Did you fight with anyone?

Me: no.

Dad: honey, common call Doctor Konami (our family doctor) ASAP. Can’t you see that her temperature is high.

Mum: ok, let me go and do that.

She said and quickly left.

Dad: so, was it your teacher that did these to you?

Me: no dad, I was just sleeping that’s all.

Dad: hmm, doctor Konami will soon be here. Am running late for work. When I get back, you will tell me everything that happened. See you soon.

He said, pecked me and left.

Doctor konami walked inside my room, a tall young man with an athletic body. He held his briefcase while my mum followed him from behind.

Mum: please doctor Konami, she said she just woke up and the marks were on her body. I don’t even understand her at all. Just do what it takes to make her healthy once again.

Dr Konami: no problem.

Mum: I will be in the sitting room waiting for you.

She said and left.

30 MINUTES LATER.

Doctor Konami was through with me. He was in the sitting room talking to my mum.

Dr Konami: so, she just have a minor fever that’s all. These are the drugs she needs.

Mum: what about the wounds on her body.

Dr Konami: about that, It seems as If somebody flogged her with a whip.

Mum: who, she came back home with no scars on her body. So who would have done that?

Dr Konami: hmm, just give her these drugs as I prescribed. In no time, she will be up again..

Mum: thank you doctor..

Dr Konami: you are welcome, I shall now take my leave.

I took the drug my mum gave me, not after eating a little food though. The drugs were making me feel sleepy so I drifted to sleep.

IN MY DREAM

It was as if I was lifted to an unknown place. I looked at my front and behold, Tracy was standing at my front with a smile on her face.

Tracy: welcome!

Me: please what do you want again. Is there anything I have done to you that you want to kill me? Please forgive me and let me be.

Tracy: hahaha, I am here to deliver a message to you…

Me: what is it.

Tracy: look inside these mirror and see your fate in it if you don’t wanna be a mermaid.

I collected the mirror, looked inside and gasped.
