Diline was confused to see their apartment locked, she went to inquire of Eve from one of their neighbours. She was shocked to find out that Eve was sent packing because of rent bills.
“Since that night when your landlord came, she searched everywhere for you, but since she couldn’t find you she left a small bag for me in case you returned.”

He entered his room and brought out the bag containing her documents

“Sorry ehn, this was the only thing that could stay with me. She waited two days for you crying worriedly, she was really devastated, I hope she is okay wherever she is.”

She thanked him and left. On getting outside she fell down and hit her head, and began to cry profusely. Drez quickly rushed to her side.

“Diline what happened? Talk to me are you okay?”

She sobbed uncontrollably.

“I should have listened to her, I caused all these mess, I did. I hope she is okay, I am an idiot.”
She hit her head again.

“Stop! You will spilt your head open what is it?”
Several minutes passed before she regained composure, she narrated to him what her neighbour said. She sighed.

“I should find my way now, I would probably have been fired by now. I need to find my footing.”
She stood up.

“Thank you so much for your help Mr Drez, I am in your debt. Goodbye.”

Drez was stunned to silence, he was shocked he could not speak at once. She smiled and began to leave, finally he regained his voice.

“Diline wait. Where to now? You don’t look too well and your head is bleeding again, I fear you might have concussion. I know you have nowhere to go please come with me, you can stay in my place until you get better.”
She replied.

“No, thank you. Why should I bother you with my problems? I will be fine.”

“You won’t be a bother. You won’t get in my way and I won’t get in yours. There is an extension at the back of the house you can stay there if you will not feel comfortable in the main house. I can’t leave you like this please.”[/B]
She breathed out in relief.

“Thank you, I don’t know how to repay your kindness.”
He smiled.

“It’s okay just get better.”

He collected her bag and helped her to his car.
For days he treated her head until the bandage was removed. Diline look for ways to get a job in order to repay him who never minded.
