Just then Boneface walks in on them to inform them that the stage was set for the exchange and that they should be on their way now.

Then he turns to Chido smiling as he says “I got my cuzname cos I killed someone.” He kept silent biefly then continued “just like Ben I got into this stuff cos my cuz was PC. At that time PC refused to take me cos they thought I was a kid they even asked me to reapply after 2 years or after I had made name for myself. I mean I was not new to violence cos I had seen it in the creeks while I was there but instead of the brutal violence I was used to with machetes and all I saw a sofisticated type of violence”.

Boneface continued “I saw blacksoul injure one of our comrads, a promising guy then. The blow almost took half the guys face off but we could never lay a finger on him. It was as if he was controlled by as puppeteer, as if he was on strings jumping here and there so that our bullets were useless. If u get a fix on him and shot him, it was and if he fades back in the shadows only to reappear again and unhurt. I had heard of such stuff but saw it first hand that day”.

He paused briefly again and then continued “he and all his men were practically unbeatable till I pulled my cutlass from my belt and used the flat of it hard on one of his teammates neatest me. The guys skull must have cracked with a sickening thud cos we heard a crunching sound and the guy was on the floor bleeding from his nose and ears. That guy was put out of his misery fast and as I attacked the other ones with the cutlass and cut the second person down the rest fled. By the time I looked round we had lost 3 quarters of our boys. The ones alive started hailing me calling me Bonecrusher. Then the name Bonecrusher slowly effaced to Boneface”.

As he finished talking he added too “lets be on our way. We are already late”.
