Chido looks at Ben and then at Boneface saying “I am satisfied with her answer but about where their loyalty lie we will just have to see”.

Boneface’s hard eyes relaxed for the first time since the incident started but he didn’t smile as he said “….loyalty is optimum and paramount. We will have the chance to test their stance”.

Ben cuts in thereafter “Blacksoul, tell us about him….”

Cynthia cleared her throat and said “…….his younger sister is matriculating in a few days time. He is in ph right now, staying with a friend of his who resides off Aba road. We can provide the address. We can also provide recon and Intel of his whereabouts till u guys are ready to take him down”.

Boneface interrupted “…I will like to have my boys all the way with ur ladies. I don’t like walking into a meat grinder without being fully prepared”.

They dispersed then with Boneface driving them back to his HQ. They waited for information on both side while Ben called his capone and chido placed a call to Python to inform him.

Python whistled as Chido mentioned blacksoul.
He said “that is a big fish that many have been trying to get their hands on”.

Python then told him mamba would want to know directly. A few minutes after Chido cut the call Blackmamba called him back and told him to stay on the situation.

Blackmamba said also “this has changed from a quiet job to an identify and extract situation. That guy blacksoul, many people want to get their hands on him but he disappeared some years back after he graduated. He is a dangerous mother4ker, u don’t treat him with kid gloves but we need any information we can get from him on ibinabo. We will send u more help, more men.

An hour later he called Chido back and said “Tonie will contact u. He is on his way to ph now”.

Chido was so surprised that after he dropped the fone he went to Ben for information. Ben gave him the history of things.

From what Ben informed him, Chido learnt that apparantly blacksoul was one of Ibinabo’s henchmen. Ibinabo had 6 Leutnants of which 4 where instrumental for the atrocities during the Dangari scandal. Blacksoul lead the group that took a bite off of the group where Ben’s brother was positioned.

Although he didn’t pull the trigger that killed Ben’s younger brother but he was the one that lead them to their deaths cos blacksoul’s group was the group that initially started shooting at Ben’s brother’s group. Ben blamed him as much as he blamed Ibinabo.

Chido kept silent till Ben finished his emotional narrating then Chido asked “but how did he get to be called blacksoul?”

Ben replied “Chido u need to understand, legends were born and destroyed on that day. I became a mademan and was automatically named Tonie’s triggerman after I took on Ibinabo and his guy alone. They should have killed me but they didn’t, I regret everyday I think about it”.

Ben continued “after I returned Tonie told me he wanted me as his hand of justice.
Blacksoul himself was before then an arrogant little boy just new to his family. We knew ourselves from boarding school he was a heartless guy even back then. He was in my younger brother’s set, they were pals who used to go after small girls together, drink together and smoke together.

U can imagine my surprise when I was told by my brothers comrads that Desmond Kanuri betrayed their whereabouts to his group as he started shooting on seeing them. He got the cuzname blacksoul after that incident cos he didnt care about anybody and he betrayed his pals position.

Chido shakes his head and said “this stuff we are doing is dangerous. What of Boneface/Bonecrusher how did he get his name?”
