Must Read: My Missing Rib (The Stranger) - Season 1 - Episode 14

Stella walked boldly to her father. She adjusted her gown up with a hand walking briskly as Steve and her sister watched her. But she suddenly slowed down in her father's presence.

"Haven't i told you never to meet that man again?" the father asked harshly.

"Daddy, I'm sorry but..."

"But what?" Zeno interrupted her. "You seem to be stubborn these days and i will make sure i deal with you!" he wanted to dragged her by the hand again but Stella ran to her sister. Then Zeno and Steve looked at each other. As he angrily walked into his tent, Steve followed him immediately.

"What are you doing in my tent?" Zeno asked him.

"It's hard time you stop pestering your daughter and think like a man!" Steve said boldly looking at him. "Do you want to die?!
Would you like to see your daughters shot in your presence?! Well, better wake up coz before nightfall tomorrow, I'm gonna escape from here, with or without you!" Steve angrily wanted to go out but turned again. "I'm taking your daughters with me" he added then went out. Zeno became speechless without knowing what to do or say, so he exhaled deeply.

Policemen were seen everywhere in Mr Stanley's compound. Each with a bulletproof, helmet and gun. The chief police officer walked into the house with two policemen while others stayed vigilant both outside and outside the gate. However, Judeson, Celestina, Adam and Mr and Mrs Stanley were already in the sittingroom.

"Good day, sir" the chief police officer approached. "Please, lets proceed" he added then Mr Stanley called Lawrence and put it in loudspeaker.

"I guess you have my money Mr Stanley" Lawrence sounded on the phone.

"Ye.. ye.. yes" Mr Stanley stammered and glanced at the officer.

"Good, i knew you can do it. I should have given you a week instead of two..."

"Just tell me where to bring the money" Mr Stanley interrupted.

"Why are you in a hurry? I'm beginning to suspect you. Remember if i notice you involve the police consider your son dead"

"Please, don't touch him"

"Good, you gonna bring the money tomorrow"

"At where?"

"No place, just wait for my call tomorrow" Lawrence hung up the call.

The officer looked at Mr Stanley and said, "You don't have to worry. We shall give you a tracking device so that we monitor wherever she says you should go. She will definitely be apprehended"

"Thank you officer, please do your best" they shook hands.

6:50pm

Zeno had given Steve's words some thought and decided to work accordingly. He met him in his tent and quietly sat down. "What's that your name again?" he asked.

"Steve" Steve replied as he gathered some arrows.

"Steve, I'm ready to take another chance but you have to promise me something" Steve gently kept the arrows and looked at him to continue. "Promise me you'll take care of my two daughters if anything happens to me" Zeno added.

"Nothing will happen to you, sir" Steve patted his shoulder. Let's inform others" he added.

THE NEXT DAY

As Steve and others in the unknown land were ready to escape, so as Mr Stanley carried a bag full of nothing in his car followed and monitored by several policemen who weren't with their own vehicle and uniform. As he drove, he placed his phone on his ear listening to the direction giving to him by Lawrence. He got to a particular place at the middle of the road where only bushes were found and stopped. However, the policemen had stopped at a far distance monitoring him. They saw him entering the bush with the bag but kept quiet.

They were three other men coming with a car-Lawrence's workers who were actually coming to pick the money. They were sharp enough to recognise the policemen when they passed them. They finally stopped at where Mr Stanley also parked his car to confirm very well if the people they passed were actually policemen.
As they wanted to enter the bush, they saw the movement of their vehicles. Immediately, they ran back to their car and one of them called Lawrence and said, "Madam, the man got accompanies"

"Who?!"

"The police!"

"fu-Ck!" Lawrence exclaimed on the phone. "This man thinks he can fu-Ck with my intelligence!" she concluded.

When the policemen saw Lawrence workers driving out, they pursued them immediately.

Back to the unknown land all behaved as if nothing was going on but were gradually escaping into the bush one after the other.
Meanwhile, Steve had turned the face of some cameras to another place so that, they won't seen.

On the other hand, Lawrence angrily walked inside her secret building shouting, "Get the chopper ready! I gonna send that stranger's head to his father for ruining our plans!" Just then, the man who normally monitors Steve and co in the small room ran out. "Madam, i don't know what is happening. I can't see anybody in the forest again. I think the cameras have been tampered!" he shouted breathing heaving.

"fu-Ck you!" Lawrence slapped him. She took all her arm men into the chopper and flew off...
