ME: eerm…..eerm…..

MIRA: **interrupted** she said that she went to see his friend

MUM: and why do you have to stay long like that?

ME: i didn’t intend to stay long something just popped up. It won’t happen again **i didn’t want to lie to my mum because i have never done that and it will not start now**

MUM: okay that will be good. Note, no one walk out of this house and spend more than two hours. That is the rule, do you get me?

ME: **forced smile** yes mum

I was very happy that she didn’t ask about the friend a went to visit. Though i expected a tough task from Mira, it was mum that actually made it tougher

Mummy walked out of the room to the garden with some news paper. I wondered what she always want about news when she will watch news on the television, read news paper and also read online news; well, she knew her aim

MIRA: **smiling** let me get you some food

ME: that will be very good of you

MIRA: and it is your favourite

ME: please, can you prepare me something solid, i am getting sick with this every time rice stuffs

MIRA: no problem, i will gladly do it
She walked into the kitchen while i sat in the sitting room trying to cool my brain off, i have to settle things with Evelyn before she do anything nasty. But there was something strange about Mira, on a normal day; she will never stress herself on preparing another food after she has prepared the assigned food
I lay on the sofa and tried to block my brain from thinking about anything but i found myself wondering about almost everything at the same time and i began to generate a slight headache. In no time, Mira returned to tell me to join her in the dinning

She prepared a well fish stacked vegetable soup with well prepared semolina which i didn’t waste time as i began to feed the worms in my stomach

MIRA: so, how far with you and Janet?
I raised my head up to look at her before i continued with my food without answering her as the delicacy she prepared was all i cared for at that moment

MIRA: i am asking a question

ME: after the food please
I continue eating my food while she stared at me. I wondered what was going on in her mind at that time as all her gaze was on me without blinking while i never felt any form of uneasiness as i concentrated on my food since i knew what she was driving at

ME: so, what about Janet **i asked as i rinsed my hand**

MIRA: where did she get your pictures from?

ME: i don’t know. Maybe from my phone or anywhere, i don’t know

MIRA: and why do she chose to claim you to herself, hope you are not in love with her **i could feel the pain and jealous in her voice**

ME: i told you the other time that i don’t love her and i don’t know her reasons for posting the picture

MIRA: why don’t you ask her to remove it?

ME: no need, many people have saved the post

MIRA: please, don’t fall in love with her **she pleaded** i can’t stand to lose you
Only if she knew that the word “love” was very far away from me and was not even among the last thing in my diary

ME: you don’t have anything to be scared of, i will always be with you **i assured her**
I think that my lies were really developing. The once innocent me was now a chronic heartless liar. Lord have mercy
She came to me and we kissed briefly before she took away the dishes and i sighed as i rested on the chair. One gone, remaining two but Eve was my greatest problem as her message came in immediately and……oh my God!
