'The Vow' Season 2 Episode 74 Recap - Aired: Monday 11 September 2017

Karuna complains about Gauri to Aniket and Uma.
She says Gauri trapped Amar and she needs to be thrown out of the house.
Uma says it's not the right thing to do.

Amar is sitting on the floor in front of his room since Divya locked him out.
The other members of the family find him there.
Amar begs Divya to open the door.

Divya is also sitting against the door in the room, crying.
Bharat and Aditi beg her to open the door.
Divya doesn't respond.
Aditi says Divya's stress level could affect the child.
Divya tells them to leave her alone as she doesn't want to see anyone.

Gauri is crying in the living room as she remembers Amar's words to Divya saying Gauri is nothing to him but just a stranger.

Divya thinks of the times she tried to get Amar to tell her if there was something he has to tell her but he lied that there was nothing.

Next morning, Amar complains to the rest of the family that Divya still hadn't opened the door.
Aniket assures him that nothing would happen to Divya.

Gauri comes downstairs.

Amar decides to call a doctor because Divya might need medical attention.

Gauri says she wants to talk to Divya before she leaves.
Amar says she can't see Divya or talk to her.
He shouts at her to get out.
Gauri is crying.
He asks why she even came to the house.
He tells Uma to ask Gauri to leave.
Chandra tells Amar that they need to focus on how to help Divya.

Gauri walks towards the front door to leave the house.
Divya stops her.
Everyone is shocked to see Divya come downstairs.

She goes to Gauri and asks if she thinks she would just walk away from the house.
She takes her by the arm to the family prayer room and gives her vermillion to use, saying she's giving her the right to be Amar's wife.
Amar asks Divya if he knows what she's doing.
Divya says circumstances might have forced them to get married but Amar needs to fulfill his responsibilities.
Karuna tells Divya that marriage is not a game.
Divya says that's why Amar has to take Gauri fully as his wife and responsibility.
Amar storms out of the room.

Later on, Amar meets Divya in the room and begs for her forgiveness.
He cries as he tells her that he cannot accept the decision she made about Gauri because Divya is his only wife and his life.
Divya says she lost him when he applied vermillion on Gauri's forehead.
She says he promised to be her husband and she wants him to realise that meeting Gauri was not a mistake and her coming to the city and meeting them too wasn't a coincidence.
She says fate wants her to share her vermilion but she doesn't want to share.
Amar says there is no point talking to Divya on the matter anymore.
He leaves the room.

Divya tells herself that it's just a matter of a few days and she wouldn't need to share him anymore.

When the family is about to have their meal, Divya invites Gauri to join them.
As she tries to serve Uma, she becomes dizzy.
Amar tells her to rest.
Divya tells Gauri to help her serve the food.

Amar gets upset and leaves the table.
Divya meets him in the room to ask why he didn't finish his food.
He says he doesn't want to talk about it.

Later on, he gives her her medicine to take.
Divya pretends to take it but she doesn't.

At night, Amar is sleeping.
Divya goes to the wardrobe to look at her medical file.
She is still holding the medicine in her hand.
She takes out a bottle hidden in the wardrobe and puts the tablet inside.
She prays for Amar to forgive her as the medicine means nothing to her anymore.

Next day, Karuna and Uma ask Divya why she is still keeping Gauri and trying to give her rights to Amar.
Divya says Gauri is married to Amar.

Bharat comes downstairs.

Karuna is about to walk away from him but he asks if she can't see how Divya is giving Gauri rights to Amar.
He asks why she can't just be like that and allow him to be with Aditi.
Karuna says what Divya is doing is foolishness and if Bharat doesn't break it off with Aditi, he would suffer.
Bharat says Aditi is his partner and they will be together forever.
Karuna prays for him.

Aditi is in the room, getting ready for another pre-wedding ceremony.
She thinks about Karuna's rejection.

Divya comes in to see her.
Aditi asks how Divya is able to smile through everything.
Divya says she knows her husband will come back to her at the end of the day and he loves her.

Gauri is in the room thinking of Amar's warming that she should stay away from Divya.
Divya comes in to wipe her tears and tells her to get ready for the ceremony as she is a daughter in law or the family.
She takes her to her bedroom and gives her a saree to wear.
Gauri asks why Divya is doing so much for her.
Divya says Gauri will be taking care of her in return.
Gauri smiles.

Guests arrive for the ceremony.

Amar sees Divya feeling dizzy.
He tells Chandra to tell her to have her medicine.
Chandra asks why he doesn't tell Divya himself.
She sees that Divya is with Gauri so she understands and she goes to tell Divya what Amar said.

Divya goes to the room and takes out a tablet from the sachet but she hides it in the bottle in the wardrobe.
She suddenly clutches her stomach and starts groaning in pain.

Amar senses it from where he is downstairs and he runs upstairs.
