The Vow - Season 2 - Episode 62

Bharat is on the phone with Amar.
He tells Amar not to worry as everything will be fine.

Aniket enters the living room and asks Bharat what's wrong.
Bharat says he just spoke with Amar.
Aniket says it makes him happy to know his son is in love with a beautiful woman like Aditi.
Bharat says he has to leave.
Aniket thinks Bharat is just being shy.

Karan follows Divya and Aditi home but he doesn't see their faces.
He gives the wallet to the security at the gate.
He asks who lives in the house and the guard tells him it's Amar.


Gauri meets the woman who came to beg for help with her daughter's wedding outside.
She gives her some jewelry.
Amar sees her.
The woman thanks Gauri.


Aditi enters the room and sees Bharat.
She stares at him lovingly.
Bharat raises his head and she shyly walks away.
He keeps looking at her.
She turns back to look at him.

Bharat takes his files and is about to leave the room.
Aditi begs him to stay and finish his work and she won't disturb him.
She leaves the room.
Bharat asks himself how he can get her out of his heart because even if she leaves him room, she's still in his heart.


Gauri begs Shivam's mother to taste a lentils dish she made for Shivam and tell her if it is good.
She tries to feed her but Shivam's mother knocks the spoon away.
Gauri is confused.
Shivam's father tells Gauri to go and and feed Amar.
She leaves.


Aditi tells Bharat that Divya won't stop shopping for the wedding.
Bharat asks if they can talk about it later.
Aditi says she knows him very well and he's a good man but she doesn't understand why he's hesitant in telling his family the truth because they will eventually find out.
Bharat doesn't respond.
She asks why he's not responding.
He says she keeps asking him that question and he has work to do now.
He takes his files and leaves the room.


Amar is going through some files.
Gauri brings him the food she made and she takes the files away.
He tells her to bring them back.
She looks at one of the documents in the file and tells him that his father was right in saying he's very educated.
She asks what's wrong with Mother.
Amar doesn't respond.
She begs him to eat.
He eats then starts coughing.
She gets him a cup of water.
He continues coughing and she brings him something to chew.
The cough subsides.
She says she thought he liked spicy food.
He sees her hand bleeding and asks what happened.
She says she punished herself for making him cough as she can't bear to see him in pain.


He puts a bandage on the hand and tells her never to do that to herself.
She complains that he doesn't like her because she's not like the city girls.
He tells her that's not it.
She begs him to tell her what to do.
She says she can read and she will show him.
She picks up the document but struggles to read.

Shivam's sister-in-law sees her and she's not happy.


Aniket and the family are having dinner.
Aniket says he hasn't seen Divya.
Mahua tells him that Divya is in the market buying everything for the wedding.
Bharat and Aditi exchange looks.
Aniket says the food is very tasty and Bharat is lucky that Aditi is his wife.
He tells Amar to pay Aditi a compliment.
Chandra says he's eating the food which is enough compliment.
Bharat leaves the table.


Shivam's sister-in-law is in the kitchen grumbling about Gauri.
Gauri's friend comes to the house.
She has a box of makeup with her.
Gauri's sister-in-law asks what it is.
The friend says it's for Gauri.
The sister-in-law takes it from her and says she will give it to Gauri.

Her son comes to inform her that his uncle is around.
She goes to the window to look.
Her son sneaks into the kitchen and takes the makeup box.
She chases him around
She trips and her face lands in a tray of flour.
Her son laughs and tells her the makeup box is not for her but for Gauri.


Chandra is in her room, looking at Rajiv's photo.
Mahua walks in and asks what she's looking at.
Chandra hides the photo and when Mahua tries to take it, she throws it out of the window and made it look like an accident.
She tells Mahua that it is a photo of the 3 of her, Mahua and Sindoora.


Aditi brings water to Uma in her room.
Uma says Aditi and Bharat do not behave like a married couple and she wants to know what's going on.
Aditi says she has to go.
She hurries out of the room.


Shivam's mother sees the house has been decorated.
Her daughter-in-law tells her that Gauri did it in preparation for the festival and her wedding.
She asks her son for Gauri.
He tells her that she has gone to the temple.
His wife exclaims and tells his mother that the villagers will see Gauri and Amar and they will think Amar is Shivam which isn't a good thing at all.


Bharat is about to go out.
Aditi tells him it's really late for him to go out and she hopes there is no problem.
Bharat shouts at her, asking why she's acting like she cares when it's not like they are really married.
Aditi starts crying.
Bharat becomes remorseful but he still leaves the room.


Divya walks up to him at the family temple and says she thought his confusion would be over.
Bharat says he never thought he would feel this way and he kept his heart from feeling any emotions for a long time.
Divya tells him that he is worthy of the emotions and he should open his heart and embrace love because the Almighty wants him to.
She tells him to enjoy the feelings he couldn't enjoy as a child because he has a right to be happy.


Shivam's father tells his wife that they need to leave.
He puts the urn containing Shivam's ashes into a bag.
His wife tells him not to hide it as Gauri is not around to see it.
She takes it from him and holds it in her hand.

Their daughter-in-law is in her room, looking anxiously out of the window.
Her husband comes to get her.
Amar sees them as they are about to leave.
Shivam's father tells him that they are taking the ashes to the river.
Amar tries to touch the urn but Shivam's mother turns away.

The family gets outside and to their shock, Gauri is returning home.
Their daughter in law wears a satisfied smirk.

Gauri asks whose ashes they are carrying and why they are wearing white clothes.
Nobody is able to respond.
Gauri keeps asking who died.
Shivam's father says a distant family member died.
Amar has tears in his eyes.


Gauri tells to them wait for her.
She goes into the house to put on a white outfit.
She says she has a right to join in the ritual.
She puts her hand on the urn and follows them.
Amar is overcome with guilt and sadness.


The family gets to the river and perform the ritual.
Gauri prays for the soul to rest in peace.
