'The Vow' Season 2 Episode 31 Recap - Aired: Wednesday 12 July 2017

Samrat is released on bail.
He vows to take his revenge.


Rajiv gives Chintu a note to give to Divya and tells him to be discreet about it and also to tell Divya not to tell anyone.


Chintu gets to Divya's room and sees Chandra sleeping on a chair.
He hides from her.
She wakes up and decides to go downstairs for some coffee to help her stay awake.

Chintu enters the room and wakes Divya up.
He shows her the note.



He sees Sindoora coming and the note drops on the floor.

Sindoora sees Chandra coming and asks her why she left the room.
Chandra says she went for some coffee.

Chintu quickly gives the note to Divya and she hides it.

Sindoora leaves and Chandra enters the room.

As Chandra turns around to get Divya's medicine, Divya reads the note.
Rajiv tells her that today is an important day for her and Amar's future and she needs to come to the old mansions.
He says he knows she might not trust him after everything but she needs to look at the date because it is really the 26th so Sindoora and Chandra lied to her.

Chandra comes with the medicine.
Divya looks at Chandra's watch and sees the date is indeed the 26th.

She takes the medicine and Chandra leaves the room.

Divya spits the medicine out and sneaks out of the house
She takes a cab to the old mansion.



Rajiv talks to a priest who tells him that he can get Divya and Amar married today.


Rajiv goes to the market to buy all the items needed for the wedding.
As he gets back to the mansions, he sees Samrat waiting.
Samrat says he made bail and he would like to talk to Rajiv.
Rajiv says they can talk all he wants later but now he has to do something.
Samrat says he wants answers now.
Rajiv tries to leave but Samrat blocks his path.
Rajiv pushes him out of the way.

Samrat picks up an iron rod and stabs Rajiv in the stomach with it.


Divya arrives at the mansion.


Samrat tells Rajiv that he has never loved him so now he will die.
Rajiv is bleeding from the stomach.
He calls Samrat his son and asks him why.
Samrat tells him not to call him his son.
Rajiv falls on the floor clutching his stomach.



Divya is walking around the mansion, calling for Rajiv.


Samrat tells Rajiv that he's the one responsible for the blood on his hands.
Rajiv says he just wanted to save Amar's life and didn't want Sindoora to kill him.

Samrat runs away.

Rajiv lays on the floor, bleeding.


Sindoora berates Chandra for letting Rajiv go out.
She asks if she has seen Divya.
Chandra says Divya is sleeping.
Sindoora calls her useless for leaving her alone.


Divya sees Rajiv.
She asks why he is holding a blanket over his body.
He says he called her there for something important.



Sindoora and Chandra enter Divya's room.
Divya la!d pillows on the bed like she's sleeping.
Sindoora lifts the blanket and sees the pillows.
She looks at the window and sees a sheet tied to it and hanging outside.


Rajiv tells Divya that Amar is out of town.
Divya is shocked.
Rajiv says he will explain everything to her but he doesn't have much time left.
He says she and Amar were married in their previous lives and the 26th is very significant in their lives because just as in their previous lives, they got married on the 26th so she needs to call Amar to come so they can get married today before sunset.


Sindoora calls Amar and he says he's on his way back to Delhi.

Chandra tells Sindoora that destiny is working against them because Amar wasn't supposed to come back today and even with the eye she kept on Divya, she still escaped.

Sindoora says Amar and Divya won't see each other and she just needs to know where Rajiv has taken Divya and know what his plans are so she can stop them.



Samrat rushes into the house and bumps into Shanti.
Her prayer tray falls and she asks if he's hurt.
He says no and walks on.


Divya tells Rajiv that she can't get through to Amar on his phone.
He tells her to keep trying.

Divya calls again and Amar answers.
She tells him to come to her and not ask any questions.
He says okay.
She tells him to please come to her at the old mansion and not tell anyone.
He says he won't tell anyone.



Samrat is with Sindoora.
He tells her everything and she asks why he killed his own father.
He says he didn't mean to.
She asks where he saw Rajiv.
He says he saw him at the old mansion and he had a bag with garlands like he wanted to get someone married.


Rajiv gives Divya the bag with all they need for the wedding.
He tells her to go to the temple nearby and meet the priest who will get them married.
She offers to take him to the hospital but he says there is no time for that.
He touches her head and prays for her then he tells her to leave.
She asks if he's not coming.
He says he will always be with her and Amar.
She touches his feet and leaves.


Sindoora calls her goons to instruct them not to let Amar enter the city.

The men are waiting by the police checkpoint.

Amar is caught in traffic.
He complains to his driver that there is no network signal on his phone.
The driver says they are in a traffic jam and can't leave.

Amar walks out of the car to search for signal.


Sindoora arrives at the abandoned mansion.


Divya is with the priest.
He says a storm is coming and he doesn't think he can wait anymore.
She begs him to wait for Amar.



Amar meets the policemen at the checkpoint.
He asks what's going on.
The tell him that the traffic is caused by a landslide and it might take an hour for his car to leave.

Amar sees a moving truck.
He jumps onto the back of a truck.
A group of dancers who are in the truck pull him inside.


Rajiv is praying for Amar and Divya to be able to get married before sunset.

Sindoora arrives and asks him if he wants them to get married so that her life can be destroyed.
She asks him where Divya is.
He says he would never tell her because she would lose today and Divya will win.


Amar receives a text from Divya telling him to meet her at the temple on a hill.


Sindoora tells Rajiv that he could get killed if he doesn't tell her what she wants to hear.
Her men surround them.
Rajiv says he is ready to die and he won't tell her anything.
He moves close to the wall and looks out of it.
There is a hole in the wall which is on a cliff.
He jumps out of it and screams as he falls to his death.



Samrat is at home, wracked with guilt.
Mahua sees him and hugs him.
She tells him she missed him.
He says he missed her too.
She asks if he has seen his father.
He doesn't respond.
He tells her that she has spoken to Rajiv and he is ready to sort everything out.


Rajiv's phone rings.
Sindoora sees it on the ground and picks it up.

Divya is frantic. She says she's waiting and Amar hasn't shown up and the priest wants to leave.
She tells Rajiv to talk to the priest.

She gives the phone to the priest.
Sindoora tells the priest to tell her where he is and she will pay him for it and he shouldn't tell anyone about it.
He tells her.



Sindoora's men check the back of the truck and they don't see Amar as the dancers are blocking him.
By the time they see him, the truck has already moved far away and the police stop the men from following the truck.


The truck meets stops and Amar jumps off.
He continues his journey on foot.

Sindoora meets a road block and is unable to continue by car.

Amar runs and doesn't come in contact with Sindoora.
.


Amar arrives.
Divya tells him that they have to get married before the sun sets.
He's surprised.
She asks if he loves her.
He says he loves her a lot.

They go to the priest and he says he can't get them married as it's time for sunset.
Divya looks and sees the sun.
She tells him.
He looks and says it's like the Almighty wants them to get married and there is nothing he can do to stop them.

He begins the process.



Sindoora is running to the temple on foot.


The priest tells them to put the garlands around their necks.
They obey.

Amar puts vermillion on Divya's forehead.

Sindoora develops a cramp but she keeps running.


Divya and Amar go around the fire 7 times.

Sindoora arrives.
