'The Vow' Season 2 Episode 30 Recap - Aired: Tuesday 11 July 2017

Divya is in bed wondering what to do about the information in the letter.
She sees a knife on the table.


Mahua asks Rajiv what he's thinking.
He says he's thinking of the tricks Sindoora will use to cancel the wedding.
Mahua says it's to be expected because of Divya's condition.
Rajiv says Sindoora is the person responsible for Divya's condition.




In the middle of the night, someone enters Divya's room
Divya hits the person off then switches on the light and picks up her knife.
She sees its Sindoora.
Sindoora is bleeding on the side of her face from where Divya hit her.
Divya says she will kill Sindoora if she attacks her.

The rest of the family members run into the room.
Amar holds Divya and she tells him that Sindoora tried to kill her.
Amar says Sindoora can't do that as she's like a mother to Divya.
Sindoora says she only came to check on Divya.

Divya gives Amar the notes she has been receiving, telling her that someone was going to attack her.
He looks at the notes and sees they are blank.
Divya insists there were things written on them.

There is a flashback of Chandra asking Sindoora what would happen if Divya shows the notes to anyone and they recognise her handwriting.
Sindoora says they were written with magic ink and would disappear before Divya shows them to anyone.

Divya tells Rajiv to speak up since he was the one leaving her the notes.
Rajiv shakes his head.

Everyone else leaves the room.

Shanti tells Amar to take care of Divya
Divya tells Amar not to leave her and go.
He sits on her bed and says he won't leave her.



Amar comes downstairs to apologise to Sindoora on Divya's behalf.
Sindoora tells him not to apologise.
Amar says he now knows that Sindoora was right.
Sindoora says she hopes there will be no obstacles with the wedding.
Amar says the wedding will be postponed.

Shanti asks why he's postponing the wedding he has been longing for.
Amar says he wants Divya to be better; he can't make her marry him when she's not ready so she has to be completely recovered first.

Amar and Shanti leave the room.

Rajiv is worried.

Sindoora looks at Rajiv and tells Chandra that no matter what others try, they are only being naive as they don't know that it is what she wants that will always happen.
She looks directly at Rajiv.
Rajiv looks back at her and Chandra.



Rajiv goes to tell Mahua that everything is a conspiracy but he can't talk to Amar because he won't listen.
He begs her to talk to him instead.


Divya sits up in bed and remembers tomorrow is her wedding day and she needs to put her other feelings aside.


Shanti goes to Amar and tells him that Divya will not lie.
Amar says he knows she won't lie but she is mentally unstable.
Shanti asks why he wants to call off the wedding.
Amar says he has to think of Divya.

Mahua enters the room and tells Amar that she and Rajiv were thinking he shouldn't call off the wedding.
Amar says he and his mother have agreed to postpone the wedding.
Mahua asks if her own opinion doesn't matter.
Shanti tells Amar to listen to Mahua.
Amar says he had made his decision.

Mahua tells herself that Shanti is a problem because for as long as she's living in the house, Amar will always be distant from her so she needs to get her to leave.



Amar enters the room to find Divya sorting out her outfit for the wedding.
She tells him to help her choose.
He wonders how he would tell her the wedding has been postponed.
Divya tells him that she won't talk about her dreams anymore though she didn't lie and she will now focus on the wedding.
Amar tells her to rest and they will talk later.
She asks why they would talk later when the wedding is tomorrow.
He is quiet.
She asks if he will still marry her.
She assures him that she loves him and she's not insane.
He tells her that he knows she's not insane.
He gives her some medicine and puts her to sleep.

Amar begs her for forgiveness as she sleeps, saying he's postponing the wedding for her own good as he doesn't want to be selfish.


Mahua tells Rajiv that as long as Amar's parents from Benares are living with them, they can't get close to Amar.
Rajiv tells her that they need to respect those parents as they brought him up.
Mahua gets upset with Rajiv.

Chandra enters the room and asks Mahua if she's upset that Amar doesn't regard her as his parent.
Mahua says Chandra would never be able to understand what she's feeling as a mother.
Chandra tells her not to talk to Rajiv rudely because he is also feeling what she feels.

Rajiv finds it strange that Chandra is supporting him.


Sindoora is woken up in the middle of the night by fireworks.

The entire family gathers at the balcony to see.
Sindoora asks the security guard if someone came in.
He tells her nobody entered the compound.
Chandra says it means it's a family member.

Sindoora asks Chandra for Divya.
Chandra says Divya is sleeping.
Sindoora says it must be Rajiv and he did it so they can all go outside while he does whatever he wants to do inside the house.


Rajiv tells himself that's things will now happen as he wants.
He places another microphone behind a photo on the wall in Sindoora's room.


Sindoora and Chandra enter the room.
Rajiv hides.



Sindoora tells Chandra that after tomorrow, the position of the stars will change and if Amar and Divya had gotten married tomorrow, she would have been ruined.
Chandra tells her that tomorrow hasn't passed yet.
Sindoora says everything will happen as she has planned and Amar will not get married to Divya. She says she will keep him busy the entire day and Chandra is to make sure she keeps Rajiv away from Divya.


Rajiv hears everything inside the wardrobe.

Sindoora tells Chandra to look for Rajiv then they leave the room.

Rajiv walks out of Sindoora's room and sees Chandra.
Chandra asks him what he was doing in the room.

Sindoora arrives and asks what Rajiv is doing in her room.
Chandra covers for him by telling her that he came to look for her.

Rajiv says he wanted to ask what would happen to Amar and Divya now that the wedding has been called off.
Sindoora says she hasn't decided yet.

Chandra and Rajiv leave.
Sindoora tells herself that Rajiv will be an obstacle so she needs to get rid of him.



Sindoora sees Mahua making a glass of milk for Rajiv in the kitchen.
Sindoora asks for a glass for herself.
When Mahua turns to get another glass, Sindoora slips a powdery substance into Rajiv's milk.


In the morning, Amar meets Divya sleeping.
He tells her he's sorry for postponing the wedding but she's not in a good frame of mind.

He sees Sindoora watching him.
She tells him that she has an important task for him as he's going to be the owner of the company.
Amar says he was thinking of going to bail Samrat out of jail.
Sindoora tells him not to worry as she will take care of Samrat and Divya too.

Amar leaves the house.

Sindoora tells herself that today she has defeated her fate once again as Amar and Divya are not getting married.


Rajiv wakes up at 10 am and he's shocked.
He asks how he slept so late.
Mahua says maybe because she gave him milk and Sindoora also had some.
He examines the bottom of the glass he drank milk from.
He asks where Amar is.
She tells him that Amar is going out of town.
He tells her that he will have to get to Amar.

He rushes out and stops Amar's car as he's leaving.
Amar tells him he has work to do.
Rajiv tries to talk but Amar tells the driver to move.



Chandra tells Rajiv to give up as Sindoora will not allow him to win.
He asks if she's trying to scare him.
She says she's trying to save him as he will be in a lot of trouble if he doesn't allow Sindoora do what she wants to do.


Divya is in bed thinking of Amar.
She jumps out of bed when she sees the time is far gone.

She opens the door and sees Chandra.
She asks why nobody woke her up as it's her wedding day, the 26th.
Sindoora tells her tomorrow is the 26th.
Divya says she's sure that today is the 26th.

Chandra gives her her medicine.
Divya takes it and goes back to sleep.

Rajiv sees them.

Sindoora tells Chandra to stay in the room with Divya.

Rajiv wonders how he can get Amar and Divya married today.
