Divya is done with her shopping.
She calls Samrat and he says he's in front of her.
She turns and sees Amar standing front of her.
He sees her and walks towards her.
Samrat is behind Amar.

Divya asks Amar why he didn't call her.
Samrat walks up to them and he's surprised to see Amar.
Divya asks if they know each other.
Samrat says Amar helped Kamna escape from some thugs.
He introduces himself to Amar as Divya's fiancé.
Amar's face falls.




Divya looks sad and asks Amar about Bindya.
Amar hardly remembers who Bindya is at that moment.
Samrat says they have to leave.
Divya stays rooted on the spot, staring at Amar.


Samrat pulls her away and she has tears in her eyes as she leaves.


A car hits Amar from behind and he falls down.
Divya rushes to him.


Samrat and Divya take Amar to the hospital.
After his treatment, Divya begs him to come home with them so he can be properly taken care of.
He says he doesn't want to be a problem.
She pleads with him to come and he reluctantly agrees.


Chandra and Sindoora are on their way to the airport.

When Divya and Samra bring Amar home, Amar stares at the house and tells Divya that he has a strong connection to the house.
He says she has come to the house 3 times, to see Sindoora, to drop Kamna off and for a ceremony.
Divya is shocked that he was at the ceremony.
He says he was working as a waiter.
Samrat is shocked and immediately looks down on him.
Amar says he came to Delhi to look for something.
Divya asks what he came for.
He tells her to forget it as he now believes the thing doesn't belong to him and he came for nothing.



The rest of the family is in the living room.
Uma asks Rajiv for Vidya and Sagar.
He tells her that they will come soon.
Divya walks in and Uma says Vidya has arrived but she can't see Sagar.

Amar walks in and stands beside Divya.
Everyone is shocked to see him.
Uma runs to him crying and asking where he has been.
He looks confused but Divya gestures for him to play along.

Mahua looks at Rajiv and Hema looks at Harish.

Divya explains to Amar that Uma lost her son Sagar a long time ago and she's been waiting for him ever since.

Uma tells Divya to get dressed for the prayers and to wear her red dress.


Divya comes down in a Sari just like Vidya used to dress.
Uma makes Divya and Amar sit together.
Samrat is not happy.




Sindoora and Chandra enter the house and Sindoora's eyes almost pop out when she sees Amar with Divya.
Divya passes the holy platter around for blessings.
When she gets to Sindoora, they stare at one another for a long time.
Sindoora asks who organised the ceremony.
Divya says she did.
Sindoora asks who gave her permission.
Divya says she thinks it would make Uma happy.
Sindoora hits off the tray and says Uma has no idea what's going on for the last 22 years and nobody even sought her permission.
Uma tries to talk to her but Sindoora shouts at her to be quiet.
Sindoora says the ceremony she tried to have 22 years ago when her son died cannot be completed today.
She points at Divya and says she's not Vidya and the man is not Sagar but Amar because Vidya and Sagar are dead.
Uma holds her head, crying and saying her children are dead.



She suddenly remembers everything that happened the day Vidya and Sagar died.
She faints.


A doctor comes to attend to her.
He tells the family members that she might be able to remember everything when she wakes up.


Sindoora asks Divya if she can see what she caused.
Rajiv says if Uma remembers everything then it would be a good thing.
Sindoora says nobody is allowed to go into Uma's room again

When everyone leaves, Sindoora remains and Uma suddenly grabs her hand and accuses her of killing her children.



Amar tells Divya that he doesn't think he should stay anymore.
Samrat says he can go then.
Rajiv says he can't go because he took care of Divya in Benares so they have to also take care of him.
He tells Divya to show him to his room.


Mahua asks if it means Divya and Amar are Vidya and Sagar.
Rajiv remembers how he switched the babies at the hospital.


Sindoora wonders what's going on and if Amar is Sagar who has returned to kill her.


Divya is taking Amar to his room.
As they walk past Sagar's old room, Amar tells Divya that he feels strange.
He asks whose room it is.
Divya says she also feels the same way whenever she walks past the room.


Chandra asks Sindoora how Amar escaped after being buried.
Sindoora says the priest told her that fate would bring Divya and Amar together.
She says she killed Vidya and Sagar and never thought she would hear Sagar's voice again.
Amar enters the room.
Sindoora asks if there is a problem.
Amar says he was buried alive at the farmhouse and he escaped by the goddess' grace so he's sorry be left abruptly.
He says he hasn't even reported to the police.
Sindoora says she will talk to the police herself.
He thanks her and says he will return to Benares when he gets better.
She asks what his motive for coming is.
He says it doesn’t matter anymore.

Divya comes to invite them to lunch.
Sindoora tells them to go and she will join them.
Amar follows Divya.


Sindoora tells Chandra that it will be a big problem for her if Amar decides to stay but she has time to still do something.


Rajiv asks Amar if the food was good.
Amar says it was, especially the porridge.
Rajiv and Mahua stare at one another.

Divya says she will take Amar to his room.

Samrat says Amar knows his room so she doesn’t need to take him.


Sindoora goes to her priest to ask him if Samrat is the heir of the family that will kill her.
The priest says it's not Samrat
Sindoora remembers what Rajiv told her at the hospital when Samrat was born.



Amar calls his boss who is now his friend and tells him everything.
The boss tells him not to be discouraged as he and Divya are made for each other and Amar needs to talk to her.
Amar says he would try.


Sindoora returns home in fear.
She tells Chandra that it seems Rajiv swapped the babies at the hospital and the real heir of the family is Amar.
