Twist Of Fate - Season 1 - Episode 255

Akash and Rachna go to the hospital to ask for Nikhil's room.
The nurse tells them he was discharged in the morning.
Akash asks if his bill was paid.
The nurse says it was paid that morning.

They move aside to talk.
Rachna suggests they ask for a copy of the receipt because Tanu would have signed it and they can use it as proof.

Tanu is at the house.
She tells herself that she was able to steal the money, make Sarla look like the thief and she got the money back so the plan worked.
She says she gave the nurse 1 million and another 1 million for Nikhil's treatment so she has 8 million left.
Mitali enters the room and sees Tanu with the money.
She says it means Tanu was the thief and she blamed Sarla for it.
Tanu says she will give her money to keep her mouth shut and she doesn't have to share it with Pami.
Mitali runs to the bed and holds some of the bundles.

Tanu takes a photo of her holding the bundles then shows it to her, threatening to post it on social media.
Mitali panics.
Tanu tells her to keep her mouth shut if she doesn't want it uploaded.
Mitali runs out of the room.

Rachna tells the nurse that she's Tanu's manager and Tanu asked her to pick up a copy of the receipt for the bill she paid.
The nurse brings a copy but it has Nikhil's name on it.
Rachna tells Akash that Tanu and Nikhil knew the receipt could be used against them that was why they used Nikhil's name.

Tanu keeps the chest of money in the room and makes it look like part of the room decoration.

The nurse from the hospital calls to inform her that Akash and Rachna come to request for the bill.

Nikhil calls and Tanu tells him what the nurse told her.
He tells her to be very careful.
They start arguing and she hangs up on him.

A doctor comes to check Grandmother at home.
He tells her that her blood pressure is high and she needs some medicine.
The family members are in the room.
The doctor tells Pragya that her mother in law told him all about how she looks after her and if everyone had someone like her looking after them when they are sick, doctors will be out of business.

Abhi walks out of the room with the doctor.
The doctor calls Pragya and says he needs to talk to the two of them.
He tells them that Grandmother has very high blood pressure and they need to really watch her as he can tell something is worrying her.
Pragya wonders if it's because of her and Sarla.

Mitali is in bed, complaining about stomach pain.
Pami says the family doctor is around and will check her.
She asks what it is
Mitali says when she hears a secret that she's not supposed to tell, her stomach gets bloated.
Pami tells her to spill the secret.
Mitali says she will but she cannot tell anyone else.
Pami agrees.
Mitali says Tanu was the one who stole the money and kept it in a chest in her room.
Pami suggests they tell the police so they can get a percentage.
Mitali tells her about the photo and blackmail.
She finishes by saying her stomach pain is gone.
Pami says she now has stomach pain.

Grandmother is coming down the stairs.
She falls down the last few steps.
The family members rush to her.
Abhi calls the doctor on the phone then he and Akash take Grandmother upstairs.

The doctor returns and says Grandmother needs to be hospitalised but his hospital is far away, so they need to go to a certain hospital close by.
Mitali says the hospital is very expensive.
The doctor says they may need to pay half a million for her to be attended to.

Abhi calls Pragya aside to ask for money.
Pragya says the money she had was stolen and she doesn't have any money at home.
She calls Akash to lend her some money.
Akash says he can't get money from the bank because it's a public holiday.

Abhi asks everyone else and they all say they don't have any money.

Tanu tells herself that she's the only one with money so if she helps Abhi, he will be very grateful.

Tanu is back in her room.
She covers the money with a cloth the puts makeup on top to make the chest appear as a makeup box
She takes out some bundles of the money and tells herself that Abhi would be very appreciative.
Mitali enters the room and Tanu tells her the plan.

Pragya asks Akash what to do.
He suggests they call some of their clients who are owing them.
She calls them and they all say they can't pay yet.
She tells Abhi that they need to take Grandmother to the hospital first and pay later.
Abhi says they can't start treatment till the money is paid.

Tanu gives Abhi the money and lies that her mother gave it to her to buy jewelry.
Abhi tells her that he will be forever indebted to her.

He runs off to meet his grandmother.

Tanu asks Pragya if she heard what Abhi told her as she was able to help him when Pragya couldn't.

Grandmother asks Abhi who gave him the money.
He says Tanu gave him the money her mother gave her to buy jewellery.
Grandmother tells Akash to check the money as she hopes it wasn't part of the money that was stolen from Abhi.
Akash takes the money and leaves the room.

Everyone is confused.
Pragya tells Grandmother that there is no time to check the money as they need to get her to the hospital.
Grandmother stands up and says she is fine and was only pretending.
Abhi asks her why.
Grandmother says she wanted everyone to know the truth as she knew the money was in the house and didn't know who had it so she came up with the plan so as to reunite the family.
She says Purab and Akash always noted down serial numbers on money so they would know the serial number of the stolen bank notes.

Tanu enters the room to tell them that the ambulance has arrived.
She's surprised to see Grandmother up.

Akash returns to the room and tells Grandmother that the serial number of the money matches that of the stolen money which means Tanu stole the money.
Tanu says it's not possible.
Pragya asks her how come.
Tanu says she doesn't know.
She tells Abhi that Pragya is trying to frame her.
Abhi says they are not trying to frame her.
Tanu says if she stole the money, she would have the rest with her and they can check.

Mitali tells Pami that Tanu hid the money in the chest in her room and she's now pretending.

Tanu tells Pragya to stop accusing her when it was her mother who stole the money.
Grandmother asks Tanu why she's arguing when she knows the truth.

Akash enters Tanu's room to check for the money.
He sees the chest and opens it but he sees the makeup and closes it.
He opens it again and sees the money hidden under.

Tanu asks Abhi to tell everyone that she did not steal the money.
Abhi says he knows Sarla would never steal from them.

Akash returns and tells Abhi to follow him to Tanu's room.

They all get to Tanu's room and Akash shows Abhi the money.
Tanu enters the room and freezes.
She says the chest doesn't belong to her.

Akash says he and Rachna saw Tanu with the chest and he has the phone number of the man who brought it in and even the driver.
Tanu says it's her chest but she doesn't know how the money got there.

Akash pours all the money on the floor and says he didn't touch any of it but they can call the police to check for finger prints.
Mitali says she saw Tanu with the money too, so Akash is right.

Pragya is with Grandmother.
She asks how she came up with the plan.

The doctor enters the room.

Grandmother says she heard from Robin that Mitali had a stomach ache so she decided to go and check on her but as she got near the room, she heard Mitali talking to Pami about the money that Tanu stole so she decided to call the doctor who is also a long time family friend and told him to help her with the plan.
Pragya stares in shock then hugs her.
