Twist Of Fate - Season 1 - Episode 229

Pragya wonders why Abhi hasn't come to eat.
She remembers she told him to wait for her so they could talk.



She sends a text to Grandmother.
Grandmother tells Tanu to go and get Abhi.
Tanu panics as she thinks Abhi might have received a message from the blackmailer.



She gets to the room and Abhi has his back to her so he thinks she's Pragya.
He says he was waiting for her.
Tanu asks him if anyone called him.
He says a producer called him.



She asks why he said he was waiting for her.
He says he was waiting for Pragya.
She asks why he's waiting for Pragya.



He says they were talking about the divorce but if she has a problem with it then he will drop it.
She begs him not to drop it.
He tells her to go because Pragya will soon come.


She tells him that Pragya is downstairs eating dinner.
He gets upset that she's eating while he's waiting for her.
He says he will talk to her after dinner then.
Pragya sends a message to Grandmother.



Abhi comes downstairs and Pragya is no longer at the table.
He sees Nikhil at the door and invites him inside.
Tanu panics.
Purab watches Tanu's reaction.
Nikhil says he will be back.



Purab and Abhi tell him to join them at the table.
Pragya hides and calls Abhi.
She disguises her voice and says she's the security guard.
Abhi asks what security guard.
Tanu almost falls down.



Nikhil also freezes.
Pragya tells Abhi that someone in his house is deceiving him.
Tanu takes the phone and warns Pragya off.
Abhi takes the phone back and tells the blackmailer to stop calling.
Pragya hangs up.



Later on, Tanu is in her room worried about what will happen when the blackmailer calls Abhi again.
She wonders if Nikhil has sent someone to the address the blackmailer sent.
She sees Pragya in her room.



Pragya looks at her like she's upset with her.
Tanu asks what she wants.
Pragya says she will be back.
Tanu says she's sorry she's not in a good mood.
Pragya calls her a liar and says she just changed her tone.



Tanu says she doesn't know what she's talking about.
Pragya says she just got a phone call from a guy who said he could tell her a secret that will leave her shocked and he would tell her if she is willing to cut a deal with him.



Tanu starts to fidget.
Pragya says she won't pay the money as she's not interested in Tanu's secret.
Tanu begs her to sit down.
Pragya sits.
Tanu says she has been getting phone calls from
the person too for a few days and she doesn't
know who it is.



Pragya tells her to call the police.
Tanu shouts no!
Pragya looks at her with a fake shocked expression.
Tanu says the guy might have pictures of her; she has a reputation and she doesn't want Abhi to do something drastic.



She begs Pragya to help her out of the problem so that the guy can stop calling.
Pragya says she only needs Abhi to do some songs then he can get married.
She tells Tanu to sort out her problem.
Tanu says all she knows is that the guy is a security guard.



Pragya says the guy who called her said he was a fan of Abhi's.
Tanu begs Pragya to help her.
Pragya says she will wait for him to call her again but she won't pay him.
She tells Tanu not to take her help for weakness.
Pragya goes to the secret room.



She tells Grandmother, Ronnie, Rachna and Purab that Tanu was almost in tears.
Purab asks how they can get Tanu to follow them to where they have set a trap for her.
Pragya says she will call as the blackmailer.
She tells Purab to look for a place they can tell Tanu to meet them.



Next morning, Pragya wakes up early and plans to get ready and quickly leave the house before Abhi wakes up.
She goes into the bathroom.
Abhi wakes up and goes out to look for Pragya.
Pragya returns to the room dressed.



She sees Abhi has gone out of the room.
As she's about to sneak out, she comes face to face with Abhi at the door.
Abhi asks Pragya if she's planning to escape.
She asks why she would do that.
He tells her to sit.
He thinks of how to talk to her.
Pragya tells herself that she has no choice but to listen to him.



Abhi says Tanu is pregnant and he knows it's not the right time to bring up the issue because her mother is ill but he has to do right by his unborn child; he wants to marry Tanu and Pragya has to set the ball rolling.


Pragya says she knows he wants to marry Tanu but she can't allow him.
He asks if it's about money because he's prepared to work really hard and make her a lot of money.
He wonders why Pragya doesn't want to help him.



He begs her to help him.
Pragya says she will think about it.
He tells her she already severed ties with him and he doesn't want to force her to divorce him but if she doesn't agree then he will have to.
She asks if he will go to court.



He says he doesn't have to go to court because they are married and she hasn't gotten close to him physically in all this time so as they are husband and wife, he will do what a husband does with his wife.



He caresses her face.
Pragya stares at him.
He carries her to the bed and lays her down.
She closes her eyes.
He says he can play with her hair and also caress her cheeks.
Pragya runs out of the room.
Abhi asks himself what came over him.
Pragya locks herself in the room Sarla is in and breaks down.



Abhi pours a glass of water on his face.
He tells himself that he says he doesn't love her but he can see in his face that he still does.
He gets upset and breaks the glass with his bare hand.
Tanu is looking for Pragya.
She sees Ronnie and wonders if she should ask him.




She decides against it.
Pragya enters the room.
Abhi is sitting with his back turned to her.
She tells him that the way Sarla put their hands together is bothering her and she thinks Sarla thought she wouldn't make it and was trying to let them know her last wish.
Abhi says she is only getting emotional because of Sarla.



Pragya asks for a few days to find out what Sarla wanted and then everything would be better.
She tells him that what he did to scare her didn't work because she is not scared of him and next time he comes close to her without her permission, she would make sure he waits forever for the divorce.



Abhi asks himself why Pragya delaying the divorce process.
Tanu enters the room and meets him still sitting in the same position.
She sees his hand is bleeding.
She gets a first-aid kit and starts cleaning the wound.



She asks how he got hurt.
He says the guitar strings snapped.
She sees the broken glass and knows he's lying.
He suggests they go out.
She thinks about the blackmailer but doesn't know how to say no to Abhi.
She follows him.



Pragya and the others meet in the secret room.
Ronnie comes in disguise.
Purab asks him if he found a place they can use.
He says it's a place near a certain studio.
Purab says it's perfect as it's close to the market.
Pragya asks how they will get Abhi there.



Purab asks the same question.
Pragya says they can tell Abhi that there is a concert there and if there are cameras and all, it will help in their plan to catch Tanu.
Pragya returns to the room and sees the broken glass with blood.



Abhi enters the room and hides his hand when he sees Pragya.
She asks to see his hand but he keeps it behind his back.
Pragya gets the first-aid kit and forcefully pulls the hand.
She is shocked to see the bandage.
Abhi says Tanu saw it and helped him.
Pragya gets upset and says she was angry and didn't see it otherwise she would have helped him.



She marches to Tanu and asks her why she's interfering in her life.
Tanu asks what she has done to make Pragya talk to her so rudely.
Pragya calms down and says she invited the security guard to Abhi's concert in 2 days time.
Tanu says there will be too many people there.
Pragya says that was what she could come up
with and she has helped Tanu like she said she would.



She leaves the room.
