Twist Of Fate - Season 1 - Episode 228

Tanu is crying.
She tells Abhi that she's sorry and hugs him.
She smiles to herself.

Pragya is heartbroken.
She walks back into the house crying.
She tells herself that's it's too late to say anything to Abhi as he won't believe her because of what Tanu said.

Grandmother sees Pragya crying and asks if she told Abhi the truth.
She suggests they go somewhere and talk.
Purab, Ronnie and Rachna see them.

Purab tells Rachna to go and stay with Sarla.
He and Ronnie meet Pragya and Grandmother up in the secret room.
They ask her what happened.

She tells them all the things Tanu said to Abhi.
She says Abhi believed Tanu and now if anyone reveals the truth about Tanu, Abhi won't believe them; Tanu said someone might come to tell him that the child is not his and Abhi told her that's he trusts her.

Purab says it means Abhi won't believe anything without proof.
Ronnie says they can get the proof.
Purab says he knows Tanu did it because Pragya disguised as the blackmailer and told Tanu that she would give the evidence to someone else.

He says they can actually give the proof to someone as they need to get Tanu red-handed.
Pragya says he's right.
Grandmother enters the room to see Aunt Indu packing her clothes into a box.
Grandmother asks if she's leaving.

Aunt Indu says she's going on a pilgrimage with her friends.
She suggests Grandmother comes with her.
Grandmother says she can't leave Abhi at a time like this.

Aunt Indu leaves the room.
Abhi enters the room.
He sees Grandmother and sees the packed suitcase.
He panics and tells Grandmother that she can't leave.
She tells him it's Aunt Indu.

She tells him to sit.
Abhi says he's losing himself in a world of liars.
Grandmother assures him that it will get better.
Abhi says he has decided to focus on his marriage to Tanu but there is a problem that only Grandmother can help him solve; he has to divorce Pragya and would like Grandmother to convince her.

Aunt Indu returns to the room.
She tells Grandmother to talk to Pragya for Abhi.
Grandmother tells Abhi not to worry as she will talk to Pragya.
Next morning, Tanu rushes to the cottage to tell Alia that the plan worked and she has won
Abhi's confidence.

Alia asks if Abhi has performed in any concerts.
Tanu says he's too worried to do a concert now.
She asks why Alia looks worried.
Nikhil calls and Tanu tells him that Alia's plan worked.

She asks if he has traced the blackmailer.
He says he hasn't been able to trace the Sim cards.
Grandmother enters Abhi and Pragya's room.

She sees Pragya and tells her that Abhi told her to talk to her about the divorce because he doesn't want to come himself so that Pragya doesn't fight with him and prolong the process of a divorce.

She asks what she should say to Abhi.
Pragya tells her to say she didn't see her.
Grandmother likes the idea.
Pragya holds her face and thanks her for her support.
Abhi enters the room and sees them.

He asks Pragya if she is hurting his grandmother.
Pragya says she was only trying to calm Grandmother down because she was venting and telling her to grant Abhi a divorce.

Grandmother stands up and yells at Pragya to
better give in and get a divorce.
Abhi tries to calm his Grandmother down but she doesn't listen.

Grandmother tells Pragya that she will have to
give Abhi a divorce today.
Pragya sees Tanu watching them at the door.
She says she won't grant Abhi a divorce.
Abhi tells Pragya and his grandmother to calm down.

Tanu asks what's going on.
Grandmother tells Pragya that she has until midnight.
Abhi takes her out of the room.
Tanu asks Pragya why she doesn't just grant the divorce.

Pragya ignores her.
Abhi takes his grandmother to her room.
He tells her that she has made things worse by making Pragya angry.

Aunt Indu says she can talk to Pragya.
Abhi says if they make Pragya upset she will take him to court and the process will take a long time and he doesn't want that because he wants to marry Tanu before the baby arrives.

He says he will have to go and apologise to
Pragya.
Grandmother is with Rachna and Pragya in the secret room.
She laughs as she tells Rachna how she and Pragya pretended to be fighting over the divorce and Abhi believed it.

Pragya tells her to stop laughing as she doesn't like people making fun of Abhi.
Rachna says if she really loves Abhi she should give him what he wants by divorcing him.
Purab and Ronnie come to the room.

Purab tells Rachna to go and stay with Sarla.
Rachna leaves.
Purab says they need to change who the blackmailer is.
Ronnie offers to do it.
Pragya says she doesn't want anyone to talk to Tanu directly.

Ronnie says they can't get an outsider to do it so he has to pose as the blackmailer.
Abhi is thinking of how to appease Pragya so she can grant him a divorce.

He sees her coming down the stairs and turns away.
She tells him to apologise.
He says he's sorry his grandmother spoke to her the way she did and he doesn't want her to punish his grandmother.

Pragya says she has already forgiven her.
Abhi decides to talk to her now that she is in a good mood.
He says he wants to talk to her about something.
She tells him to talk to her later as she has things to do now.

Tanu is in her room wondering if Nikhil has been able to reach the blackmailer.

Pragya calls her, posing as the blackmailer.
She asks Tanu for Abhi's phone number.
Tanu asks why.
Pragya says Abhi is only marrying Tanu for the child and he doesn't love her.

Tanu asks to see her and give her money.
Pragya says she won't fall for the stunt Tanu pulled last time.
Tanu asks for her banking details.

Pragya says she will send someone to a place
where Tanu will give them the money and Tanu should be ready in an hour.
Tanu says an hour is not enough time.
Pragya hangs up

Tanu rushes to Alia in the cottage.
She tells her what the blackmailer said.
Alia asks why she's worried.
Tanu says the blackmailer has evidence.
She calls Nikhil to vent and she calls him useless.
He tells her to calm down.

She tells him to meet her at the cottage in Abhi's house.
Pragya tells herself that now Tanu is scared, her attention will be diverted away from Sarla.
Purab and Grandmother see her and ask what she said to Tanu on the phone.

Pragya says she asked her for Abhi's number just to make her scared.
Grandmother tells Pragya not to hurt Tanu as she's still pregnant.

Pragya says she won't endanger her baby in any
way.
She tells them to keep an eye on Tanu at the dining table so they can know how much the call scared her.
At the cottage, Nikhil has arrived.

Tanu is freaking out as she tells Nikhil and Alia about the call.
Tanu berates Alia for not showing any concern.
Alia tells her she will soon be admitted to an asylum if she carries on the way she is.

Nikhil tells Tanu to go into the main house and he will join her soon.
He wonders why the blackmailer called Tanu for Abhi's number when he could have gotten it from anyone.

Tanu enters the main house and doesn't see Pragya and Abhi at the dining table where the others are gathered.
She gets worried.

She tries to pull out a chair but Ronnie blocks it and she almost falls down.
He helps her pull the chair out and she sits.
Pragya comes downstairs.

Tanu wonders if Grandmother is the person the blackmailer would call.
She gets so distracted that she picks up a chilli and is about to eat it.

Pragya asks what is making her want to eat chilli.
Tanu is shocked when she sees the chilli in her hand.

Grandmother asks her what the problem.
Tanu says someone is disturbing her with calls and asking for Abhi's number.
She asks if any of them got a call from the guy.
