'Jemeji' Season 1 Episode 169 Recap - Aired: Thursday 26 October 2017

Jonah and Oviyon are in Lagos.
Oviyon comes out of his meeting to join Jonah who is waiting for him.

Jonah asks how it went.
Oviyon started it was okay.
Nowheyon calls Oviyon to ask how the meeting went.
Oviyon says it went well.

After the call, Jonah asks how it went.
Oviyon says they have made it.
He tells Jonah that he met with an aid from the minister of Agriculture and they are planning to make Aji a free trade zone, if all things go well, he might be the man in charge of the government grant to the local farmers.

Jonah is excited for him.
Oviyon says he will get his boys involved and it won't be just about him.
Jonah days his saviour or Aji.
He asks Jonah if they can be partners because he needs his help

Jonah says yes and shakes hands with him.
Obi comes to see Folake at the lodge.
He says he wants to explain.
She says she's not interested because everything about him is a lie.

Obi says the girl she saw him talking to is his sister and she's there with his father.
Folake asks if they are taking him home.
Obi says she doesn't know his father, or she thinks he's a liar and a cheat, his father is ten times worse and he doesn't even know his father's real name, he was leaving Aji but came back when he saw his father and sister.

She says so she was right when she said he didn't come back for her.
He tries to explain to her but she tells him she has her own problems and he can see himself out.

She goes into the room.
Akweyon holds a knife to her wrist.
Neza begs her not to.
Seyive and Senami arrive.

Seyive begs her sister not to harm herself.
Akweyon says it's her punishment.
Senami tells her that she doesn't deserve to be punished.
She turns her back and gives Neza a signal.
Neza grabs Akweyon and Senami injects her with a sedative.

Akweyon is sleeping.
Seyive asks Senami what they will do next.
Senami says Akweyon needs medical attention so they can't continue to stay there.
Neza tells her to talk to Kingsley then.

Senami asks what he has to do with anything.
Neza says Kingsley asked them to stay away from Aji because of what they know about Iya Minasu.
Senami says nobody will believe what Akweyon says anyway.
Neza says Senami may not believe her but Sesinu does.

Senami is surprised that Sesinu came there to see Neza.
She says she wants Kingsley put away too but nobody would believe Akweyon and even if by some stroke of luck, it happens and Kingsley is locked up, it won't bring her grandmother back.
Neza tells her to stop making it sound like Akweyon is crazy because Akweyon is not crazy
Senami says okay but she's not alright either.

Seyive says it's Mausi's handiwork like, even after she did what Mausi asked her to do, she still didn't release her sister.
Senami asks what Mausi made her do.
Seyive doesn't respond.

Michael Wealth is having palm wine with the villagers.
He tells them that they need to think big and they will make more money because what they have at the moment is nothing.
He tells them to start a cooperative in Aji.
Dr. Jide is listening.

When the villagers disperse, he claps for Michael and tells him that he did very well.
Michael says he doesn't know what he's talking about.
Dr. Jide says Aji is a fertile land.
Obi walks up to them and asks to speak with his father.

Jonah and Oviyon are on their way back to Aji.
Fonton calls to let him know that they are at Peace's place.
Matron and Iya Oviyon are also there.
Fonton says they will come back for the list another say then they will take it from there.
Iya asks Jonah if Oviyon is with him.

Jonah gives a reluctant yes.
Iya asks why Oviyon didn't tell her that he was going to Lagos.
Obi and Michael are alone in a corner.
Obi asks what Michael did to Ndidi and why he involved her since she was his favourite.

Michael says that's the more reason he had to teach her the family business and he hopes she doesn't turn out a disappointment like Obi.
Obi says it's because their mother died.
Michael says how dare he talk about her? Obi was not around while they were with her
during her last says and they dug her grave.
Obi apologises.

Michael says maybe he shouldn't have wasted his time coming to Aji because Obi is a pathetic excuse for a man.

Obi tells him to take it back.

Michael hits Obi twice on his shoulder with his briefcase and accuses him of killing his mother.
Obi says it's not true.

Michael says his mother died because of him when she went to back Jalingo to look for him.
Obi says it's not true.
He looks like he is about to cry.
Daddy Love comes to see Iya Oviyon.
He's dressed in a pair of jeans trousers, a t-shirt and a face cap.

They talk about her visit with Fonton to Peace's family and her upcoming wedding to Jonah.
Iya goes quiet and Daddy Love asks what's troubling her.

She says Oviyon went to Lagos without telling her.
He tells her to allow Oviyon go to work in Lagos so he can make some money to take care of her.
She frowns.
He asks why she's frowning.
They laugh.

Ndidi comes to the lodge.
Folake asks what she's doing there.
Ndidi asks if she knows who she is.
Folake says Obi said she was his sister.
She asks what she's really doing in Aji.
Ndidi says they've been looking for Chukwuemeka for 3 years and they found out where he was through Folake's blog.
Folake says so they just stunned on her blog.
Ndidi says she wants Obi back as he used to look after her.

Folake asks why he ran away.
Ndidi says it's not in her place to say but Folake should talk to him and ask about Jalingo.
Dr. Jide tells is at Kingsley's place.
He tells Kingsley that it's a good thing he has suspended operations.

Kingsley asks what he's talking about.
Dr. Jide asks if he hasn't heard that the government has shown an interest in Aji and all eyes will be on Aji.

They hear a knock on the door.
Senami walks in.
Kingsley dismisses Dr. Jide.
Senami tells Kingsley that she used to think he was responsible for her grandmother's death but not anymore.

Kingsley asks what changed.
Senami says Akweyon is not doing well.
He asks what she wants
She says she wants to bring her to Aji for treatment.

Kingsley says she doesn't need his permission for that.
Senami says she wants to bring Akweyon and Neza back.
Kingsley says she misjudged him as what happened was really an accident and he means Neza and Akweyon no ill will and no harm will come to them in Aji. Senami asks if he has her word.

He says yes.
She stands up and walks out.
