'Jemeji' Season 1 Episode 168 Recap - Aired: Wednesday 25 October 2017



Michael Wealth and his assistant are at the palace.
Obi asks when he's leaving.
He asks if Obi wants to send them away like that.



Obi says a lot of power comes with the throne and he won't hesitate to use it.
Michael asks the lady with him if she can hear her brother.



She appears to be uncomfortable.
He asks Obi who put him on the throne as he knows he has no brain to pull it off on his own.
Obi says he has no idea what he's capable of.
Michael tells Obi to look at himself, he's always coming second and only good for exam malpractices and sleeping around at NYSC camps, he should look at his sister using her brain.



Obi says so he finally roped her into his dirty schemes?
Michael says she's using her brain and there is nothing dirty in using your brain to move forward in life.



He says it's the same thing Obi has done and he would have commended Obi if he didn't know that Obi is too stupid to pull such a stunt on his own.
Obi tells him to get out.



Michael says Obi is the same Mumu that allowed Jalingo to happen.
He calls Obi's sister, Ndidi and says they have to leave and they will come for her brother later.
He walks out of the palace.
Obi stops Ndidi and asks why she joined their father.



She asks if he wasn't the one who left her with their father.
Jonah is at Oviyon' s place, taking photos of Oviyon and his mother.
Peace walks in.
Iya congratulates her and Jonah then she leaves the room.



Jonah asks Peace how it went with her relatives.
She says she was unable to see them.
Jonah says he's going to Lagos tomorrow and wants to know if she would like to come along.
She tells him to bring something back for her.
She tells Oviyon that she wants to see him in private.



Oviyon tells her to say whatever it is in front of her husband to be.
She asks if there is anything wrong with Senami because she saw her at Mausi's shrine.
Jonah asks what Peace went to the shrine for.
Peace says she didn't really go there, she just saw Seamill heading in that direction.



Oviyon says Senami might also have been going somewhere else.
Dr Jide is in Kingsleys house.
Kingsley takes off the black sack covering his head.



Dr. Jide is shocked to see him.
Kingsley asks if he thought he could escape.
Dr Jide says he's done with the deal and can get other people to do it.
Kingsley says he's not done with him and he has set up a new place.


Dr Jide calls him insane.
Kingsley says Jide had better cooperate or his wife gets a visit from him.
Jide says it won't come to that.
Folake is with the zonal inspector.
He complains about her and Senami wasting his time.



Folake says something came up.
He tells her that the redeployment window is closed.
Folake pleads with him to try.
He says officially there is no chance but he will see what he can do.



Fonton tells Jonah to just loan him a hundred thousand nara.
Jonah asks what its for
Fonton says it's just what loan.
Jonah ways he will transfer 50 thousand times him.



Peace comes to meet them.
Fonton calls her his wife
Jonah tells him that her family hasn't been informed yet.
Fonton says he will handle it as an elder so they don't need to worry.



Doris is marketing Boku Naira to Totai and Zosu.
Zosu invests on behalf of him and Totai.
Doris leaves.
Zosu asks Totai what he's been up to lately.
Totai tells him to open his eyes and see what's going on around him as he's now following false prophets.



Zosu asks what he's saying.
Totai asks if he thinks Oviyon fought Half a day with his own powers.
Zosu asks if that's what he's talking about.
Totai says after Oviyon won the fight, he turned his back on those who helped him win the fight.


Zosu says they were the ones in the wrong and now they have an opportunity to make something of themselves.
Totai tells him that when the time comes he will find it difficult to place himself.



Zosu says he doesn't understand what he's saying.
Totai orders more palm wine..
Oviyon enters the lodge dressed in a black suit.
Senami tells him he looks different.
Oviyon says he's going to Lagos but wants to know what Senami went to the shrine for.
She asks how he knows.



He says Peace told him and said she wasn't really sure.
Senami says Peace was sure because she bumped into Peace when she was just leaving the shrine herself.



Oviyon is shocked.
He asks if why she's looking for Mausi.
Senami says Mausi is sick and dying and she's helping her.
Oviyon asks why she doesn't allow her to die instead of helping her.



Senami says Mausi is helping her too.
Oviyon asks her to continue.
Senami says she thinks she killed people and needs Mausi's help to figure out what happened.
Senami tells him everything.



Oviyon asks if Kingsley gave her the video.
Senami says she knows what she saw.
Oviyon says he just wants to scare her with it and the police can't hold her for it as they can't arrest anybody for witchcraft.



Senami says the villagers would do react negatively of the get a hold or the video.
Oviyon tells her to report Kingsley to the authorities.


Senami says if the video finds its way into the Internet and people see her on the streets of Lagos for example, it wouldn't be long before there is a tyre around her neck.
Oviyon tells her to give him the video so he can see for himself.



Senami opens her laptop.
Oviyon gets a phone call from Jonah then tells Senami that he has to go so he doesn't miss his ride.
He tells her to do the right thing.
Fonton comes to the clinic.



He is singing and dancing.
Matron says he seems to be in a good mood.
Fonton says he wants to see Peace's family today and he wants Matron to step in as his mother.


Matron says she's not his mother.
Fonton says she's his stepmother and has been there for him since his mother died.
She agrees to stand in.



Dr.Jide arrives.
Matron is shocked.
He ignores them and walks to his office.
Iya runs up to Daddy Love in the village.
He is cold towards her.


She tells him she's sorry and didn't know she read the situation wrong.
He asks what if she read it right.
Iya says it's been long since any man looked at her that way.


Daddy Love tells her that they are not kids and no amount of jeans wearing would change that, his wife died a long time ago and his kids are grown up so he can't pretend.
She asks what he means.
He tells her to stop acting like she doesn't understand what he's saying.



He says he wants to marry her.
She is shocked.
Obi meets up with Ndidi in the village.
He asks what's wrong.
Ndidi says their father used to beat her every night and some mornings and he thought she helped Obi to run away



Obi asks about their mum.
Ndidi says after Jalingo and after Obi left, it wasn't long before she...
Her demeanour changes and she tells him he left and never looked back so he should stop acting like he cares.




She walks away.
Folake comes out of hiding where she listened to the entire conversation and faces Obi.
Akweyon is in a corner of the room she shares with Neza.



She's crying, shivering and scratching herself.
Neza calls Seyive on the phone.
He tells her that Akweyon hasn't slept in two days and she has been hurting herself.
Seyive shouts and repeats what he said
Senami is standing behind Seyive so she hears everything.


She takes the phone from Seyive and Neza tells her what's happening.
Senami tells Seyive to take her to Akweyon as she could be in danger.
