'Jemeji' Season 1 Episode 162 Recap - Aired: Tuesday 17 October 2017



Mausi tells Senami that she has been waiting for her.
Senami closes her eyes and tells herself that she's dreaming and would soon wake up.
Mausi tells her she's not dreaming.
She says they need to talk.



Senami says she doesn't want to have anything to do with Mausi and her weird stuff so Mausi needs to stay away from her.
She runs off.
Fonton joins Michael Welt and the woman at the palm wine joint.




He asks what business they've come for.
Michael Welt says they've come for land scouting and would want to buy a land.
Fonton asks what they want to do with the land.
The lady says they want to open a microfinance bank.



Fonton asks what bank they are representing.
The lady says it's Boku Naira and it's a different type of bank where your money works for you and if you bring 100 Naira, you get 500 in 5 days and if you recruit like 5 people to invest, you get an extra 100 percent on your initial investment.
Fonton says so if he brings 10 000 Naira he gets 50 000 on 5days?



They tell him yes.
Fonton gives them 100 naira and tells them to make it 500 and he will get the whole of Aji to invest.
Michael Welt says he thought Fonton would start with 10000 Naira.
Folake is at work.



Peace comes to see her.
Folake says she's sorry for forgot to get Senami to come and see her.
Peace says she wants to dicuss something with her, she has a friend who wants to go somewhere far.
Folake asks if she wants to go far.
Peace says it's her destiny and her family already purchased her ticket.



Folake says life has taught her that sometimes you just go with the flow and you don't fight it, so the friend can go.
She says she's carrying out an experiment.
She takes a rope and ties it around Peace's ring finger then marks her size.



She tells Peace not to worry as she will get Senami to come and see her.
Senami is at work.
She's takes out her grandfather's hand and puts it on the table.



Matron walks in and asks if she still has it.
Senami says it's all she has left.
She apologises to Matron and says she knows she's not a thief but she doesn't understand why she took the things.
She says her grandmother told her that the hand belonged to her grandfather and it was
all that came back to her after the war but
Matron said her grandfather came back from the war.



Matron tells her to forget about it.
Senami asks whose hand it is and what the story behind the stone is.
Matron tells her to just let it go because it's not like she would be able or handle the truth.
Senami says whatever it is that Matron is hiding, she would find out.



Seyive is walking through the village.
Kingsley pulls up beside her in his car.
He says he hopes she's been behaving herself and hasn't forgotten about their last conversation.
Seyive says she doesn't talk to strangers and she doesn't know him.




He calls her a smart girl and drives on.
Daddy Love is in Iya's house.
He joins her in picking beans.
She asks if he won't go to the farm.
He says he left his boys there and decided to come and chill with someone of his age
She calls him grandfather and says she's much younger than he is.
Senami comes to ask for Oviyon.
Iya tells her he's inside, on the phone with his girlfriend, Nowheyon.




Senami asks if she can just go in and see him.
Iya says she's not a gateman.
Senami goes inside.
Iya mutters under her breath, calling Senami a useless girl.
Daddy Love says she's a nice person who has helped a lot of people.
Iya says she wants to ruin Oviyon's destiny.
Senami enters Oviyon's bedroom as he's indeed on the phone laughing with Nowheyon.
He sees Senami and tells Nowheyon that he will call back.




Senami asks if she's interrupting something.
Oviyon says Nowheyon was telling him about the rehabilitation program and said it would be good for the boys to die empty and not with their talents and gifts unused.
Senami asks if he would call the program die empty.
Oviyon says its not a bad idea.
Senami says she needs his help, she needs answers with all the things that happened when they were kids and Mausi.
He says not again.



Senami says she can't figure out all it means and she's confused.
Oviyon holds her hand and assures her that he will be there for her and hold her hand through whatever it is.
Senami smiles.
Oviyon says 'I'm here for you Nowheyon.'



Senami looks horrified.
Oviyon asks what the matter is.
Senami says he just called her Nowheyon.
Oviyon looks embarrassed and says it's not what she thinks.
Senami walks out, refusing his offer to walk her.
Seyive meets Matron in the clinic.
Mattin asks where she has been
Seyive says she took a wall to clear her head.
Matron says Seyive hasn't been herself since she returned.



Seyive says she's a fine
Matron asks how Akweyon is doing.
Seyive says nobody can touch her sister again.
Senami comes to see Folake in her school.
Folake asks how she's doing.



Senami says she never knows who to be afraid of but now, it feels like everyone is out to get her and the village is giving her strange vibes.
Folake says that has always been the case with Aji and it feels like nothing good ever happens.
She tells her that Jonah will be coming over, he wants to propose to Peace and they will do it at the waterside and she would put it live on her blog.



She asks what Senami hasn't gone to see Peace.
Senami says she would go and see her.
She says Oviyon wanted to know if Folake could help give some classes to the boys who follow him around.
Folake says it's not a problem.
Jonah joins them and Senami leaves.



Folake tells him that Peace's ring size is 6.
Jonah says he would be heading to Lagos to get it.
Folake sends some ring designs to his phone and tells him that Senami has been added to the bridal committee.
Jonah says it's fine.
Folake asks who would help them with the set up at the waterside.



Jonah scratches his head.
Folake tells him not to disappoint her.
She advises him to talk to Oviyon.
Senami sits outside the school.
She takes out the stone and holds it in her hand then she drops it and touches her grandfather's hand.



She feels a jolt then she screams at the top of her lungs.
Some pupils of the school see her and run away.
Otogan's lawyer is back to see Obi.
He gives him a document and says it's the first part of his inheritance, 20 million Naira.
He says Obi just needs to sign for it and the 100 million will be released in batches, not for his personal use but for developing Aji.
Obi asks how soon he can get the 20 million in his account.



The lawyer says in a couple of days but the transfer would be made as soon as Obi signs the document.
