'Jemeji' Season 1 Episode 132 Recap - Aired: Tuesday 05 September 2017

Obi is at the lodge with Folake.
She asks how he escaped.

He says Mausi let him go.
She asks how.
He says Mausi wants him to be chief even though she knows he's not Miyise.
Folake says it's a good thing that Mausi is on his side as they need to get more people on his side.

He says he thinks she shouldn't remain in Aji because it's getting dangerous loves her loves her too much.
She says it's her decision and she also loves him too much to leave him to face the situation all by himself.

Senami is lying on a hospital bench.
Kingsley sits on a chair watching her.
She wakes up and sees him.
She jumps up.
He says he was hoping she would wake up and remember everything.
He says she used to love it when he watched her sleep.

She asks if they were dating.
He says they are in love.
She asks what's going on.
He says they are waiting for the results of some expensive tests she took.
She asks who is paying.

He says he's the person.
She thanks him and says she's sure her father would reimburse him.
She asks why her sister hasn't come to see her.
Kingsley asks if she really doesn't remember anything.
She shakes her head.
He asks if she doesn't remember he threw Folake out of his house because she stole from him.

She is surprised.
He asks if she at least remembers they found a baby factory and that was how they got attacked.
She says no.
She asks when it happened.
He says that was how she got injured.
A nurse comes to inform them that the results
are ready.

Glory is in Sewedo's bed.
Chief's wife walks in and asks who she is.
Glory gives her name.
Chief's wife asks for Sewedo.
Glory says he went to the bathroom.
Chief's wife says Glory won't be first or last so she shouldn't go thinking he would marry her.
Glory is shocked.

Chief's wife tells her to let Sewedo know it's time for them to go for his father's burial.
Sewedo returns from the bathroom.
Glory tells him his mother came to look for him.
She says they are all the same and he wants to use her the same way Miyise used her.
Sewedo says he's not Miyise and won't dump her.

She asks if he's just saying it.
He says after the burial, they would go for a picnic.
Matron Zansi comes outside the hospital in Lagos and meets Mausi waiting.
She calls her Megomu and asks what she's doing there and where she slept.
Megomu says she came for some tests.

Matron says it just happens to be at the same hospital as Senami.
She asks when she left Aji.
Megomu says she's not there for Senami but she actually needs medical attention.
Matron asks why she had to come to Lagos.
Megomu says they can't treat what she has in Aji and she fears that her time is coming to an
end, maybe because she doesn't have her
Akwe... She stops herself and says maybe because the ancestors do as they please.
She asks what happened to Senami.

Matron says she lost her memory.
Megomu says just like last time.
Matron asks what the doctor said was wrong with her.
Megomu says she doesn't know but she doesn't think she can come back so she wants Zansi to collect the results for her.
Zansi asks when the results will be out.
Megomu says in a few days.

Matron asks if she's telling her to come back.
Megomu says she wouldn't have asked if she had a choice.
Zansi says Okay.
Megomu / Mausi thanks her.
Sewedo is dressed in the burial attire that was reserved for Obi.
He says he can't believe he's going to be chief.
His mother asks if he thinks he would achieve that by following random girls.

Sewedo says it was just harmless fun and he did it to get a rise out of Miyise.
His mother says Miyise is not there anymore.
Nowehyon says she wonders what happened to him.
Her mother says probably killed like he was supposed to have been many years ago.
Nowehyon is surprised.

She says she thought he was going to be held
till the ceremony is over.
Her mother asks if she thinks that's what he deserves after plucking out her eye.
Kingsley and Senami are with the doctor.
He tells them that the scan shows everything is fine.

Senami asks why she can't remember anything.
Kingsley asks how long it would take to help her regain her memory.
The doctor says maybe days, weeks or even years.

Kingsley asks if there is nothing they can do.
The doctor says being surrounded by familiar faces can help and also taking her back to the place where she got the amnesia.
Iya Oviyon is in the clinic waiting room with Oviyon's boys.

One of the boys says Mausi is a regular village woman and they never knew.
Iya says it's a lie because Mausi doesn't just leave her shrine.
She asks how they knew it was her.
Fonton and Jonah walk in.

Iya Oviyon says after all Fonton did, he ran away.
Fonton asks how Oviyon is doing.
The police walk enter.
Iya tells them to go and see what the goons did to Oviyon.

Akweyon is sleeping in the hut.
Seyive picks up Akweyon's raffia attire and is about to sneak out.
Akweyon grabs her leg.
Seyive says she was going to burn it.
Akweyon shakes her head.

Seyive offers to make her hair for her so that nobody recognises her as Akweyon.
The elders are in the palace.
Chief's family members are ready for the burial procession.

The spokesman for the elders says he cannot believe that Miyise is not there.
They ask the family where he has gone.
Chief's wife says they woke up to discover all his things have been cleared.
One elder says maybe he ran away.
Chief's wife says they should just carry on; thankfully, he left the burial attire which is what Sewedo is now wearing.

The elders say they will carry on, after all, a son is a son.
Sewedo says some sons are better than others and it just goes to show that Miyise has never been ready for the responsibilities that come with being the Chief.

The elders suggests they start going.
Obi and Folake walk into the compound.
Chief's family members are shocked.
The elders nods as Obi greets them.
They ask if he forgot about today.
Obi says he didn't forget about something he had been preparing for.

Chief's wife says they were worried
Obi says he went to see Mausi for some pre-burial rites
The elders are impressed.
They say since Miyise is around, the ceremony will be done according to tradition so Sewedo will have to give Miyise his clothes and all other materials.

Sewedo says he's already wearing it.
His mother pulls him aside and warns him not to cause a scene.
Sewedo goes to Obi to shake his hand.
He whispers in his ear that he doesn't know how he did it but he the issue is not over.
Oviyon opens his eyes

Iya starts rejoicing.
Oviyon tries to get out of bed but his mother and his boys stop him
He sees some palmwine and yams by his bedside and asks what they are for.
His mother says the villagers brought them to thank him for saving them from Half-a-day.
Senami and Kingsley are walking out of the doctor's office.

Kingsley says he has to use the restroom.
He leaves Senami waiting along the corridor.
Sesinu arrives.
She says she had to change her flight to be there.

She asks if Senami has changed her mind.
Senami says she doesn't know what she's talking about.
Sesinu says she can see that Senami's village romance with Oviyon is done.
Senami is still confused.

Sesinu asks what happened to her.
She says she has an accident in Kano.
Sesinu says she's just happy Senami is out of Aji.
Senami is surprised she knew she was in Aji.
She says she had an accident and lost her memory and doesn't remember anything after coming to Aji to serve.

Sesinu says that was what their father warned her about and Senami should have left there a long time..
She asks what the doctor said.
Senami says he said there is nothing they can do but she should surround herself with familiar faces and sights.

Sesinu asks if it's Senami's cunning way of trying to go back to Aji.
She says Senami will stay with her till her memory comes back
Senami says she's not going back with her.
Sesinu tells her that the people of Aji tried to kill her.

Senami asks why.
Sesinu reminds her that she lost her memory.
Senami says she wants to remember for herself and no matter what Sesinu says, she would stay in Aji.
Dr Jide is at Kingsley's place with Saul.
He asks what happened.
Saul says Kingsley left them at the shed with Senami and she was being uncooperative so be pushed her a little and she screamed so loud, next thing he knew, he was passed out on the floor and he doesn't remember anything till Jide came.

Dr. Jide says he doesn't believe it.
Saul says he knows what he saw and Senami is a witch, just like her grandmother.
Jide tells him to look for the birds of the air and tell them that tale.
Saul says it's not a joke.

Jide tells him not to be ridiculous.
Saul asks how it is possible that they all blacked out at the same time if Senami is not a witch?
