'Jemeji' Season 1 Episode 133 Recap - Aired: Wednesday 06 September 2017

Senami, Matron and Megomu/Mausi are waiting in Kingsley's car so they can leave for Aji.
Megomu asks Senami what the matter is as she seems lost.
Senami says she's a doctor and should have a solution to what's happening but she's still so confused.
She says what if her memory doesn't come back.
Megomu asks what she means.
Senami says she had an accident and lost her memory.
Megomu says it's serious but their people say the spirit of a child is never really separated from it's parents.
Senami asks what that means.
Megomu asks if Senami is not a daughter of Aji.
Senami says she is and she was hoping to find out where her grandmother is buried.


Kingsley enters the car.
Senami asks if he found out where her grandmother was buried.
Kingsley says yes.
Senami asks if Megomu knew her grandmother.
Megomu says she does and she knows Senami too.
She says Matron can take her to her grandmother's place to see if it will juggle her memory.
Kingsley doesn't like what he's hearing.


Seyive makes Akweyons hair in the hut.
Akweyon looks in the mirror and smiles broadly.
She stares at Neza's clothes in a corner of the room.
Seyive tells her that he was taken away.
Akweyon becomes sad.


Folake is helping Obi pack his things at the palace.
He says he wants to leave the palace first before they carry him.

Nowehyon and Chief's wife whose name is Sonayan, enter the room.
Sonayan asks Obi how he escaped as he's supposed to be dead.
Obi says they can't kill an innocent man.
Nowehyon asks why Mausi could let him go after all he has done, even plucking out her eye.
She says maybe he's not Miyise.
Folake says he's Miyise and even Mausi confirmed it.
Nowehyon says Obi said he's not Miyise.
Folake asks if she wouldn't deny her ancestors when they hold a gun to her head.


Glory meets Sewedo in the bush for their picnic.
She brings him a tray of puff puff.
He thanks her and says he hopes she didn't tell anyone about their meeting.
She says she didn't tell anyone so they don't try to spoil their sweet love


Oviyon is back home.
Peter and Joanh are with him.
He tells Jonah about the tout who took the egg and there was fire.
Jonah says he's hallucinating.
Oviyon says Half-a-day even followed the Akweyons.

Iya is massaging Oviyon's shoulders.
Oviyon tells Peter to go home and rest as there is no danger anymore.

Nowehyon comes to visit.
Iya welcomes her warmly and asks what she would take.
Nowehyon says she's okay.
Iya says she will get her some water.

Jonah says he has to leave to check on his father.

When they are alone, Oviyon asks Nowheyon how she is.
She says she should be asking him.
He asks if it's burial drama.
She says she can't wait to leave Aji.
He says Aji has a way of sU-Cking the life out of you.
She offers him her hand and he takes it.
He says he will tell her what happened to him if she tells him what happened to her eye.


Kingsley brings Megomu back to the spot he picked her from.
She thanks them all and gets out of the car.

Kingsley asks Matron if she's coming with them to his house.
Senami says she's not going to the house but to her grandmother's place with Matron.
Matron suggests they go to the clinic.
Kingsley says Senami needs to rest.
Senami tells matron if they can walk to her grandmother's place.
Kingsley says he would take them.
Senami says he has done enough already.
Kingsley says he thinks they should go to the clinic like Matron suggested.


Sonayan is in the palace, looking at Chiefs property documents.
Obi brings the elders in to look at her.
They see the documents in her hand and ask if she wants to sell the palace.
Obi says when he said he went to Mausi's shrine for pre burial rites, it was a lie; his so called mother and her children dragged him to the shrine in chains.
Fonton shouts 'Okroho!'
Sonayan starts shedding fake tears.
She says it's a lie and Obi has been so so..
Folake cuts her off and says Obi has hardly left the palace and she's already looking for what to sell.
Sonayan says she's only checking to make sure Obi didn't leave with anything.
Obi says she hasn't looked for her missing son but she's looking at documents.
She says maybe if Obi had remained dead, Otogan would still be alive.
Fonton says he and the elders will deliberate on what to do.
Obi says now he can now sleep with one eye closed.
Another elder tells Obi and Sonayan not to do anything contrary to tradition otherwise they would involve the gods.
They give the documents to Obi.


Matron shows Senami and Kingsley around the clinic.
She tells them that the place looks better with the renovations after the riot.
Senami asks if she was a part of it.
Matron says Senami was helping people and Kingsley was also a huge helper.
Senami asks if that's was how she got to know him.
He says how she got to know him isn't something he wants to discuss in front of Matron.
Matron excuses herself to take a call.

Seyive walks in and tells Senami that she has something to tell her about Akweyon.
Kingsley explains to Senami that Akweyon is Seyive's sister who used to be the village priestess' assistant and Senami helped her escape.
Seyive looks really hurt as she asks if Senami doesn't remember her.

Matron returns and explains to Senami that Seyive cleans the clinic and was also her personal assistant.
Seyive asks why it is now that she can't remember her.
Matron says Senami isn't feeling well.
Seyive asks why it's now that they need her help that she isn't feeling well.
She says Senami had better remember.
She storms off in tears.


Glory tells Sewedo that her mother would like him and everyone would envy her in the village.
He serves her a cup of the juice that he brought with him.
She drinks it and smacks her lips.
He pours her another cup and she passes out before he is able to give it to her.


One of Oviyon's boys sees Megomu in the market and calls her Mausi.
She asks if he has gone mad.
He says he saw her the other day.
She tells him to be careful about what he's saying so the gods don't strike him.
He insists he saw her.
She pulls his arm and tells him to come with her to the shrine and swear.
He apologises and runs off.


Oviyon says Nowehyon kept her secret all these years.
He asks if she still thinks Miyise did it.
Nowehyon says when she was younger she did but the new Miyise denied being Miyise at first but then his girlfriend said he did it out of fear.
Oviyon asks who he is afraid of.

Iya returns with some refreshment.
Nowehyon says she's not hungry.
Iya says she wants to go to the market.
Nowehyon says she's leaving.
Iya begs her to wait as she will soon be back.


Oviyon's boys are on the farm talking about the incident with Mausi and the Akweyons.
The one who saw her earlier says he just saw Mausi in regular attire.
His friend says he's not surprised as they have heard she sometimes turns to an animal.
Another says it seems the gods sent Mausi to come and protect Oviyon because with the number of times Half-a-day stabbed him, he didn't die.
His friend says he will team up with Oviyon so that he can also benefit from the benevolence of the gods.

Glory staggers towards them crying with her face and top covered in blood.
The boys run off.
Glory's eyes have been plucked out.
She tries to feel her way blindly through the bush.
