'Jemeji' Season 1 Episode 131 Recap - Aired: Monday 04 September 2017

A new chapter begins in Jemeji titled ' Render unto Mausi'.

Kingsley leads Senami to his car.
She asks whose car it is.
He says it's his car.
He sees Matron approaching.
He curses under his breath but calls her to come.

Matron sees Senami's dazed look and asks what happened.
Kingley says he found her like that.
Senami asks who she is.
Kingsley begs Matron to come with them as Senami needs medical attention.

Iya Oviyon drags Oviyon's boys, asking for her son.
One of the tells her that Half-a-day stabbed Oviyon with a knife.
Iya starts screaming and throws herself on the floor.
Doris tries to console her.

Iya jumps up and runs off.
At the shrine, Obi shakes the drum and Mausi opens it.
He begs her not to close it.
As he starts talking, the 4 maidens bring Half-a-day to the shrine and drop their eggs on the floor.

Mausi asks for the 4th egg.
The maiden tells her that a tout took it.
She tells zombie Half-a-day that it's now time to go and fulfil his destiny.
He walks away with the maidens in tow.
Obi asks Mausi what happened to Half-a-day.

She tells him that what matters is that Obi will live and he will be chief of the village.
Obi says he doesn't want.
She asks if he thinks he can go back on all the rituals he already performed.

Obi says Sewedo wants it so let him have it.
Mausi says the real heir of the village is not fit to be chief so it has to be Obi.
Obi says he wants to leave Aji and never come back.

Mausi tells him he will remain in Aji and if he tries to leave, the same fate that has befallen Half-a-day will befall him.
The boys and Doris catch up with Iya.
She tells them to take her to Oviyon.

Oviyon appears and falls on the ground clutching his bleeding stomach.
His mother and the boys rush to him.
They carry him to the hospital.

Kingsley is back home with Senami and Matron.
Matron suggests that they take Senami to the hospital.
Kingsley says it's not that serious.

Matron says she's out of it.
She asks what they were doing in the bush.
Kingsley says they were trying to find something.
Matron says she thought he said he found her.
Kingsley says they got separated then he found her like that.

He says it's just a mild concussion.
Matron says it doesn't look like it.
Senami wakes up asking who they are.
Folake comes to the palace to ask for Obi.
The attendants tell her he's not around.
She starts screaming.

Nowheyon comes out to ask what's going on.
Folake grabs her and accuses her and her family of doing things to Obi.
Sewedo tells her to calm down.

Folake continues screaming and asking that they produce Obi for her.
Iya Oviyon and the boys are waiting in Dr. Jide's office.
Dr. Jide returns from attending to Oviyon.
Iya asks how he is.

Dr. Jide says he will be fine but they need to do a blood transfusion and afterwards, he needs to rest.
Iya prays for Jide in gratitude.
Dr. Jide asks what happened to oviyon.
She tells him it was Half-a-day and his boys.
Dr Jide is shocked.

The boys tell him about Mausi's maidens and the egg that exploded.
He finds it ridiculous.
Iya laughs and says she knows Mausi will not fail her.
Dr. Jide gets a call from Kingsley telling him to come and attend to Senami.

He tells Iya that he has to go somewhere and he will be back or better still, she can wait for Mausi to come and attend to Oviyon.
As usual, he laughs alone at his own joke.
Mausi gives Obi a drink in a calabash.
He takes a sip and spits it out.

She leaves to get her laptop.
Obi is shocked to see it.
She tells him to go.
He says he doesn't want to be chief.
She orders him to go.
He leaves.

Mausi holds her waist like one who is having a mild discomfort.
Senami asks Matron and Kingsley if they know her name.
Matron says she's Doctor George.

Senami says they also remember she's a doctor.
Kingsley asks if she doesn't remember anything.
Senami asks who they are.
Matron asks if she knows where she is.
Senami says she's supposed to be in the corper's lodge in Aji.

Matron tells her she's indeed in Aji.
Senami asks for Folake and Obi.
Matron says Folake is on her way.
Senami asks what happened to her uniform.
She looks at her watch and asks if the date is correct.
Folake walks in.

Senami calls her name and tells her she's suffering from memory loss.
Folake asks if she remembers her.
Senami says she does.
She asks for the other guy, Obi as she knows they all came to Aji together.
Dr. Jide walks in

Senami asks if he is the doctor.
Dr Jide asks what's wrong with her.
Senami says she needs to get to Lagos for an MRI scan.
Kingsley says he will drive.
They get outside and Folake whispers to Senami to be careful of Kingsley.

Kingsley says he has to go inside to get his wallet.
He goes to meet Jide who is standing on the veranda.
Jide asks if he did something to Senami.
Kingsley tells him not to be stupid.
Jide says it's convenient for Kingsley if Senami loses her memory now.

Kingsley asks how.
Jide says he's not the one whose illustrious baby factory is about to be exposed.
Kingsley asks if Jide thinks he will go down alone and Jide gets to keep his licence?
Jide asks if he's threatening him.
Kingsley says Senami doesn't know he's involved but Jide shouldn't think he would leave him alone.

Jide asks what he wants.
Kingsley tells him to go to the new place and take care of the women
He enters to pick his wallet then leaves.
Fonton and Jonah are in a cab with two policemen.

Fonton says he will keep complaining if they don't go to Lagos.
Jonah asks if they would just leave Oviyon like that.
Fonton says Oviyon told them to leave.
Jonah says they can't just leave.
As Kingsley is driving, they see a woman waiting on the side of the road.

Senami tells Kingsley to stop and help.
Kingsley reluctantly stops.
The woman walks up to them and it's Mausi in ordinary market woman form.
She tells them that she's on her way to Lagos but she doesn't have transport fare.
Senami tells her to join them as they are on their way to Lagos.

Mausi gets into the back seat and sits next to matron.
Kingsley is livid but tries not to show it.
