She asks who he is.
Obi says he just wanted to make some money as someone told him Miyise disappeared.
She asks where he was when he heard
Obi says he was serving somewhere as a corp member and he thought he would just come, get close to Chief, make some money and leave.
He swears he has never taken any eye from any creature before; he's just a 419.

Obi says after Chief died, he was already running away and Sewedo saw him.
Nowheyon says maybe he's losing his mind.

Senami asks Kingsley if he told them to kidnap her.
Kingsley says she was the one who went snooping and should have known she would find something so she should look around and satisfy her curiosity.
She asks who he is.
He asks if that's what they are doing; is it the time for him to give her his expository speech?
She asks if his name is Kingsley.
He says she can go with that reality but he's surprised it's the first thing she would ask him.
She says what Neza said is true, he killed her grandmother.
Kingsley says what Neza said is an exaggerated version of the events as he smokes marijuana.

One of the pregnant women starts m0an!ng in pain.
Senami asks what's wrong with her.
Kingsley says she would tell him as she's the doctor.
He says part of the reason he brought her there was to satisfy his need for a medical expert.
She says he must be crazy if he thinks she would join him in whatever that is.
He says she knows what it is as she's not stupid.
Senami says he's selling babies to women who can't have children.
He says he merely serves as a connection between the women who don't want their children and the women who would pay anything to become mothers and he found himself short of a doctor.
He says her friend scared his man away with her antics and Senami needs to fill in for him.
She asks if he expects her to join him.
He says she kind of has to, considering the hippocratic oath she took.

Oviyon's men and the goons are still having a face-off in the forest.
Oviyon says things didn't have to get to this; all he wants is his uncle.
Half-a-day laughs and asks if Oviyon can still talk when some of his people left him.

Mausi appears in the form of an ordinary woman going to the market with a basket.
Totei tells Half-a-day that she's the woman he slapped the other day at the market square.
Mausi asks what's happening.
Half-a-day threatens to slap her.
She drops the basktet and raises her hands up.
She transforms into Mausi right before them.

Four maidens dressed as Akweyon appear with black scarfs covering their mouths.
Mausi holds out her palms which contain four eggs.
The maidens each pick an egg.

The goons and Oviyon's boys freeze.

Mausi turns around to leave.
The maidens remain.

Seyive and Akweyon are sleeping in the hut.
Akweyon is tossing about in her sleep.
She starts shaking.
Seyive wakes up and tries to wake her up.

Folake comes to the palace.
The attendants tell her that Miyise is gone.
She asks if he left a message for her.
They say no.

Half-a-day asks Oviyon if he thinks that what just happened would scare him.
Oviyon asks if he actually believes he did it.

The goons attack Oviyon and his boys.
Half-a-day pins Oviyon to the ground and tries to choke him.

Folake enters the palace and goes into Obi's room.
The attendants tell her to leave.
She says she knows Chief's family don't like Obi and Dr. Jide too.
They push her out of the room.

Mausi is in her shrine,.
There is a drum in front of her.
Seyive rushes in to ask what she has done to Akweyon.
Maui says Akweyon is supposed to be with Seyive.
Seyive says something is wrong with her.
Mausi says Akweyon made her choice.
Seyive asks if Mausi is controlling her from the drum.
Mausi says she let Akweyon go.
Seyive says she tried to wake her but she wasn't responsive.
Mausi says she made her choice
Seyive asks if she would die.
Mausi asks how they would restore what was.
She asks if Seyive agrees.
Seyive nods in understanding.
Mausi tells her to go to her sister as she would be looking for her then when the time is right, Seyive would know.
Seyive leaves.

Mausi opens the drum and Obi is inside looking at her with confused and pleading eyes.

Senami asks Kingsley where the women are from.
Kingsley says they find him through word of mouth.
Senami says it's human trafficking and it's illegal.
She asks if they are unwed mothers or he is inseminating them.
He asks if she knows the statistics for unwanted pregnancies in the country.
Senami says some people want their own babies.

She says the place she found near the lodge is where the den used to be.
He says they had to relocate
She says all those screams in the middle of the night.
He doesn't respond.
She says that's why he used to have corpers come to stay with him, so they wouldn't hear too much.

She asks about the dead woman.
He says she changed her mind after taking the money.
Senami says she tried to keep her baby.
He says it wasn't her baby anymore and the whole situation was unfortunate as dead women are bad for business.

The pregnant woman in pain is practically screaming now.
Kingsley asks how Senami can bear to see the woman in so much pain and not help her.
Senami says she still has questions.
He tells her to ask later.
She asks him to tell her about her grandmother.
He says the pregnant woman needs her help.
Senami says she doesn't care.

The woman stops screaming.
Saul says she is dead.
Kingsley tells Senami that the woman is dead; how can she be so cold and what happened to the girl that wanted to save the world?
Senami says they buried her in her grandmother's grave.

She asks how her grandmother died.
He tells her it was the night of the riot, Senami called and sounded desperate for help so he was coming to help her.
She asks if he's saying it's her fault.
He says he was coming to her and was worried she might have been attacked and he didn't see her grandmother.
She asks if he came down to check.
He says he chose Senami's life over whoever he might have knocked down and didn't know until the next day.
She says so all these time... she was with him.
She starts gasping for breath.

Saul whispers in Kingsley's ear.
Kingsley tells Senami that he wants to go and see about a replacement; Saul would be with her while she attends to the other women.
She screams at him to come back.
His men hold her back.

Mausi pours water in the drum.
Obi asks what' she's doing.
He begs for a chance to explain.
She tells him to go ahead.
He tells her he's a scammer and he's not Miyise.
Mausi laughs and asks if he thinks he's telling her something she doesn't know already.
She says Miyise was never lost to her as she knew exactly what happened to him.
She shows him a spot behind the drum and says that was where she buried him after she killed him.
She says he had a mental illness and they tried to help him but when he went as far as to pluck out his sister's eye, Chief agreed Mausi needed to do what needed to be done.
Obi says if Chief knew then why did he believe Miyise had returned.
Mausi says Chief gave her permission to take him away and believed he was alive somewhere and it haunted him for years.
Obi says when he showed up why did Chief believe.
Mausi says Chief needed to believe he was Miyise otherwise, he would deal with the guilt that he gave his son up to be killed; Obi's coming was a dream come true for a guilty father with an unforgivable secret.
He says Mausi herself confirmed he was Miyise.
She asks if that isn't better than to let everyone know that there is madness in Otogan's family and that she drowned the real Miyise so he doesn't grow up to become a monster.
Obi says if Miyise is dead then who's doing all this?

At the palace, Sewedo is in bed with Glory.
She complains that he's going too fast.
She stands up and says she's going outside for air.
He stares at her in a creepy manner.
She asks why he's looking at her like that.
He says he was just thinking what beautiful eyes she has.
He pulls her close and starts kissing her like someone who is unstable.

Kingsley returns to the den and asks what is going on there.
Senami asks who she is, what's going on, how she got there and what's wrong with the people?.
He tells her to take it easy.
She passes out.
Everyone else is passed out on the floor including Kingsley's men.
Kingsley looks up at a camera placed just beneath the ceiling.

The fight is still going on.
Half-a-day stabs Oviyon in the stomach with a sharp stick.
Oviyon is bleeding.

Half-a-day stand up.
The little boy Oviyon often sees when hallucinating, pulls Oviyon up.
Oviyon's spirit takes 2 steps then goes back to lie inside his body.
Half-a-day asks Oviyon where his people are.
The goons have defeated Oviyon's men.

The maidens are standing with their eggs and watching passively.
Tote says they need to show them that they are not afraid so the maidens don't start making fun of them.
He picks one of the eggs from a maiden.
It emits fire.
Tote falls down.
The goons run away.
Tote stands up and runs away, falling over himself as he goes.

Oviyon and his boys are lying on the floor.

A maiden goes to stand in front of Half-a-day.
He remains standing.
She blows in his face and he follows her like a zombie.
The other 3 maidens follow.
