Movie Story: Jemeji - Season 1 - Episode 121

Kingsley is sitting in front of Senami at the clinic, while she works.

He tells her to take a break.
She says she has to work.
He asks if something happened before he arrived.
She says no.
He asks if Neza is still ill.
She says no.
He asks why he was there.
Senami says Neza told her a wonderful story about how he (Kingsley) killed her grandmother and took a pregnant woman for rituals.
He asks if Neza also said he was Mausi in disguise.

He asks if that's why she has been acting cold; she believes the pot head.
Senami says she doesn't but it just got her thinking about her grandmother.
He says he will leave but when she gets home, he has a surprise waiting for her at home.
He gives her a peck and leaves.

Obi is inside the palace.
He asks an attendant if they didn't see anyone come in to drop the dead fish.
The attendant says no.
Chief's wife asks Obi where he went earlier.
Obi says he already told her that he went to see a friend.

Sewedo tries to console his sister who looks upset.
She flings the bottle of groundnuts he's holding and walks out of the room.
Sewedo follows her.
Obi asks Chief's wife why her daughter did that.
She says her daughter is upset.

He calls an attendant to clean up the mess.
Chief's wife tells the attendant to leave it and get them glasses instead and bring one of the drinks Sewedo brought.
She suddenly becomes friendlier and tells Obi that she wants to get to know him better.
The attendant brings the glasses and a bottle of Brandy.

She asks Obi if he remembers the day he went missing.
He says he doesn't.
She asks about his parents and if they didn't try to help restore his memory through therapy.
He says they were not rich enough for that.
She says what about now, won't he want to see a therapist?

He says that will be nice.
She says she has a friend and can make the arrangements.
Obi gets up and says he has to check on Akweyon.
Chief's wife's face says she knows a lot.
Peace is walking through the village.
She gets a phone call from Jonah.
He asks how she's doing.

She tells him she's okay.
He asks if she's getting well and has been taking her medicine.
She says yes.
He asks if he can bring her new ones as he's coming home.

She tells him not to bother as she has completed the dosage.
He asks if he can buy her something nice as he's coming home.
She doesn't seem interested in his gift nor him.
Kingsley returns home.
He meets Saul waiting for him.

Saul tells him that he hasn't found the person who saw them.
Kingsley says he just left Senami and she told him Neza has been spreading tales he could only have discovered from snooping around.
Saul asks how he should handle it.
Kingsley asks what he thinks.

Neza is at the clinic.
Senami tells Matron she's going to lunch.
Neza says he hopes she didn't tell Kingsley all he said.
She says she had to ask him.
He asks what's wrong with her and if she has no sense.

He says Kingsley was the reason Akweyon attacked them and Akweyon was the one who told him that Kingsley killed Iya Minasu, now Akweyon is missing.
Senami says she will find out the truth.
She walks away.

Obi meets Folake in the school where they both teach.
She tells him sorry for the stress he has been going through.
He says they found an eyeless fish in the compound, someone plucked out the eyes deliberately and left it in front of the palace.
She says they can't be too surprised with all
they've seen in the village.

He says what's even bothering him is Chief's wife asking him to see a therapist.
She says now they really have to leave and they have to find a way to keep Dr. Jide shut since Obi wants to stay till the burial.
She suggests they watch him to see if he's getting close to the family members then they approach him to cut a deal.

He says he has to return to the palace for the burial arrangements.
Neza is in front of Oviyon's house.
He sees IyaOviyon and asks her for Oviyon.
She grabs him by the ear and warns him to stop speaking patois in her house.

He asks again if Oviyon is home.
She tells him Oviyon is not home.
He says he has something serious to tell Oviyon.
She asks what it is.
He says it's between life and death.
She tells him to stop coming to see Oviyon as he's a bad influence on Oviyon; she doesn't even know if Oviyon has started taking Marijuana like him because she doesn't understand him anymore.

Neza yells Oviyon's name.
Iya Oviyon gives him a slap and tells him to leave her house and never to come near Oviyon again.
Peace continues her walk.
She gets the feeling that someone is following her.
She breaks into a run, looking back to see if anyone is after her.

She hides behind a tree and gets the illusion that Mausi is behind her and taps her so she looks behind her but there is nobody there.
The villagers come to condole with the Adomeh family.
An elder presents the burial fabric (White cloth) that the family will have to wear.
Obi reaches to collect it but Sewedo snatches the bag and starts pretending to cry.
Doris tells him to stop crying.

Sewedo thanks the villagers for bringing the fabric and says he and his family will never forget them.
He carries on with the fake tearless cry.
Obi sees through him.
Senami gets to Kingsley's place.

She sees the car outside and starts checking for dents.
The driver asks what she's doing.
She asks him if Kingsley had any accident recently.
He says nothing like that happened.
Fonton, Half-a-day and Petunia are in Fonton's bedroom.

Petunia and Half-a-day are seated at opposite ends of the bed.
Fonton is seated on the floor, with his hands tied and his mouth gagged.
He's in between Petunia and Half-a-day who are carrying on a conversation as though he wasn't there.
Half-a-day tells Petunia that they ought to kill Fonton.

Petunia says it doesn't make sense to kill him.
Half-a-day asks what she's saying when Fonton has already told on them and was about to escape.
Petunia says he didn't tell anyone because he has been at home with her.

She tells him to go and continue with the burial activities while she gives Fonton a concoction that will make him sleep till they can figure out the next step.
He says he will station two of his boys outside as well.
Fonton is crying.

PetuniaShe brings the concoction and they force Fonton to drink it.
Seyive comes to the shrine to say she wants see her sister.
Mausi says her sister is not there.
Seyive says she just wants to see her sister.
Mausi reminds her that she betrayed Akweyon in the past and is now claiming she's her sister.
Seyive says she was just a child back then.

Mausi tells her to leave because the drums will soon start beating.
Obi asks an elder why they haven't buried chief yet.
The elder says they have to ensure Otogan has a safe passage to the other side.

Sewedo walks in and tries to sit on the throne.
Obi stops him and tells him to sit elsewhere as the throne is for the chief in waiting.
Sewedo says he wants a chair like Obi's own then.

He asks if he's not also the chief in waiting as he's Chief's son which makes him and Obi equals.
The spokesman for the elders tells Sewedo that there cannot be two Chiefs in waiting and the elders have officially selected Miyise.
Two policemen walk in.

One of them says they are there because of a tip-off they got concerning the missing blood that was being conveyed to the blood bank.
