Movie Story: Jemeji - Season 1 - Episode 122

Neza enters the hut to meet two policemen, Seyive and a palace attendant waiting.

He asks Seyive what happened.
She says she came and she saw them.
A policeman opens a sack and Seyive gasps when she sees a blood bag.

At the palace, Obi tell the elders and Sewedo that a lot happened that night of the riot but thankfully nobody got hurt.
The spokesman for the elders reminds him that an old woman died even though she wasn't at the clinic.

Sewedo says there he was, thinking nothing happened in Aji.
Obi asks if it sounds like fun to him.
An elder tells them to get back to more pressing matters before it gets dark.
The spokesman says the next thing to discuss is the coffin carrying ceremony.

Sewedo says he will carry his father's coffin.
The elder says in Aji, things are done differently than from the Oyibo land Sewedo is coming from.
Sewedo says he wants to be a part of everything and carry his father's coffin.

Obi says it's because he's older.
Sewedo says Obi is just older by a few months.
He accuses Obi of trying to make him appear useless in his father's funeral.
Obi asks if he's now interested.

Sewedo says he and his family travelled from very far yet Obi wants to make him useless.
He says he will rather die than not carry his father's coffin.
He walks out.

An elder tells Obi that Sewedo is in mourning and this is his way of expressing his anger so Obi needs to just allow him and move on from the issue as it is what his father would want.
Obi says he will try.
The elders say it is well.

They leave.
Seyive rushes to Senami who is on her way home.
She tells her that the police found the missing blood in Iya Minasu's house and they have taken Neza away.
The police are dragging Neza through the market square.

Senami runs to them and gives Neza a slap.
Folake holds her back.
Iya Oviyon claps and says she's not surprised that Neza was the one who stole the blood because he can never do anything good with his life.

The villagers pour white flour on Neza.
Neza says he can explain.
Iya Oviyon continues to jeer at him.
The police take Neza away.
Half-a-day and Petunia meet in the bush.

Petunia says she has found a solution and it's to control Fonton but she needs to be the one to control him.
She says the other issue is to remove Miyise and Chief's other children.

She assures him that Fonton won't run when he's made Chief.
Half-a-day says when Petunia has a child for Fonton it wouldn't matter if he runs.
Petunia asks if she looks pregnant.

He says he can make her pregnant.
She tells him to remove the Adomeh children.
He says it's easy.

She asks how.
He says fire.
She tells him not to be too quick to say what he wants to do and he needs to calm down as the entire village suspects them already.

She leaves him and he has a creepy smile on his face.
Chief's daughter, Nowheyon, is about to walk into the palace.
She meets Obi on the veranda and he says 'Hello Sis.'
She asks why he feels the need to speak to her.

He says he doesn't understand them and their tempers; for her own father's burial, she can't even act like she cares.
She tells him not to ever call her father his father.
He says he doesn't understand.

She says he might be able to fool everyone but he is dead and she doesn't buy the story that Chief was happy to see him after all he put them through.
He asks what he did.

She asks if he can't remember.
He says he wouldn't be asking if he did.
She tells him that he's still the same liar and the same animal he used to be.

He moves closer to her but she threatens to kill him if he comes close to her again.
An attendant comes to tell Obi that the police caught the blood thief and it's Neza.

Iya Oviyon comes home singing and rejoicing.
She tells Oviyon that they caught the blood thief.
He asks who.
She says it's that his friend, Neza.

Oviyon says it can't be.
He asks if she also didn't know about it because she was saying they would steal the blood, before it happened.
She says Mausi just told her to be alert.
She warns him not mention what he just said to anyone because she doesn't want any trouble.

Senami is back at Kingsley's place.
She tells him that Neza was pretending the entire time.
Kingsley says Neza took advantage of her good heart and should be ashamed, not Senami.

Senami says she even blamed Oviyon's mother and that was why they broke up.
Kingsley reminds her that Oviyon's mother caused a scene at her grandmother's funeral and Senami herself said she heard her confessing to other things.

He tells her to look at things clearly and she would know that her break up with Oviyon was way beyond his mother and if that hadn't happened, they wouldn't be dating now.
He hugs her.

Nowheyon comes to see Oviyon at his place.
He asks how long it has been.
She says it was about 20 years.
He says he heard she was back but didn't know what to make of it.

She says the last time he saw her she was a kid who used to follow him, her brother and Miyise around.
She gets sober.
He says he's sorry for everything.

She tells him not to apologise as it's been a long time.
He says it's fine but not really fine.
She says the reason she came is to ask him a question;he has been spending time with Miyise and she wants to know if his amnesia is true.

Oviyon asks if she doesn't think Miyise has forgotten.
She says has to go.
Oviyon's phone rings.
The goons are in front of Fonton's house
Jonah arrives.

They stop him to ask who he is.
He asks if they are asking what he's doing at his father's house.
Petunia comes outside.
Jonah asks what's going on.

Petunia says if he had called, she would have told him that his father traveled out of Aji and instructed her not to allow anyone in.
He asks if she's saying his father told her not to let him in.
She says that was exactly what he said.

She walks in and shuts the door.
Obi comes to see Folake at the lodge.
She asks if he slept last night.

He says it's as though Chief's family want to scatter everything.
She asks if he thinks they are thinking of the property.
She tells him to be careful.

She asks what the deal with his step sister
Obi says it's as though she hates Miyise and they all do.
Folake says it doesn't make sense as Chief, Neza, Oviyon and everyone else was happy that Miyise had returned.

He says maybe he will just leave the village.
Folake hugs him.
Oviyon is walking through the bush when he sees the little boy with the ball and makes fun of him.

Jonah calls him on the phone to let him know that Petunia didn't allow him into the house, saying Fonton traveled.
Oviyon says it's not possible as his boys would have seen Fonton leaving the village.

Jonah asks how they would have seen him.
Oviyon asks if he called Fonton before coming.
Jonah says he did but Fonton's phone was switched off.
Oviyon says they need to see and talk so Johan should go and wait for him at his place.

Oviyon meets up with Peter who is hiding in the bush.
Peter tells him that Fonton is a prisoner in his house; Half-a-day and Petunia are giving him some concoction to make him weak.
Oviyon thanks him for risking his life and trusting him with it.

Peter says he has to leave before they see him.
He runs off.
As Oviyon is about to leave,
Senami stops him.

Obi returns to the palace to meet Chief's family and the palace attendants staring at an object on the ground.
He moves closer and sees it's a dead bird.
He asks what it's doing there

Chief's wife calls an attendant and whispers in his ear.
The attendant bends to examine the bird properly and he says it's true that the eyes have been plucked out.
