Movie Story: Jemeji - Season 1 - Episode 100

The party is on at Kingsley's place.
Kingelsy, Senami, Folake, Oviyon and Peace are present.

Obi arrives.
Folake tells him to help himself to the food and drinks.
She says they will play a game later but they are expecting one more guest

He asks who that is.
She walks away.
Obi introduces himself to Kingsley.
Kingsley calls him the resurrected Prince and another mysterious recluse.
He says they are both men with stories.
Obi says no story with him; he lost his memory.
Kingsley tells him to keep pulling that lie.

Obi's smiles dies but he quickly recovers and walks away
He goes to Senami and asks if she's still not talking to Oviyon.

She says she can't believe Oviyon showed up.
Kingsley tells evryone that the thing to do at parties is to mingle.

Oviyon says the host has to provide everything
they need.
Kingsley asks if he needs anything.
Oviyon says he needs Kingsley far away from him.

Kingsley reminds Oviyon that he's in his house.
Senami, in an attempt to diffuse the tension, brings a plate of salad and asks if everything is okay.

Kingsley says he and her friend were just agreeing on how they dislike each other.
Oviyon helps himself to the salad.
Someone knocks and Folake runs to the door.
It's Glory.

Obi's phone rings and he goes outside to take the call.
Dr Jide tells him to get his champagne glass ready as he has just finished a meeting with Otogan and the fake parents.

He says as soon as Obi gets to the palace, he should talk to Otogan about how he wants to leave.
Senami suggests they play a game.
Kingsley suggests they play a game that's not
mentally challenging for the sake of some
people.

Oviyon asks if he's saying he can't do anything physically challenging so he doesn't lose in front of everyone.
Kingsley says he has no problem getting physical.
Oviyon challenges him to an arm wrestling match.

Obi says he feels like he should be betting.
Folake says at least Kingsley and Oviyon know how to fight for the girl they love.
Obi asks her why she invited Glory.
She says so he would have company.

He says he would miss her (Folake).
She asks where he's going
He says he meant when NYSC is over.
Obi gives the command for the arm wrestling to start.

As both men lock hands, the little boy hits Oviyon on the back with his ball.
Oviyon pulls his hand away.
Peace asks Folake if Senami doesn't want Oviyon again and wants the other man.
Folake tells her to ask Senami herself.
Glory says Folake told her it was Miyise who asked that she is invited but Folake just wants to shame her.

Folake doesn't show any sign of remorse.
Kingsley and Oviyon continue wrestling.
The boy hits Oviyon again with the ball.
Oviyon pulls his hand away and reaches for a bottle of alcohol

Kingsley says he wins as Oviyon forfeited the game.
Oviyon starts drinking.
Glory is upset and walking to the door.
Folake says she's sorry.

Glory asks if she looks like a fool.
She storms out.
Oviyon and Kingsley are playing a game of scrabble.
Folake asks Obi why he wanted her to believe he slept with Glory when it's clear he can't stand her.

He doesn't respond.
Oviyon plays a word and Kingsley challenges him.
Oviyon tells him to check the dictionary.
Kingsley asks Senami if she has seen the word before.

Oviyon says it's between them and Kingsley should check the dictionary.
Kingsley checks and the word is there.
Oviyon asks if he's surprised a farmer knows such a word.

Senami sees trouble brewing and quickly suggests another game.
Folake agrees and suggests a game like 'Truth or Dare.'

Peace asks what it means.
Folake explains the rules of the game to her, saying they spin a bottle and whoever it faces has to either answer a question with nothing but the truth or do a dare.

Senami says she's not sure it is a good idea.
Folake ignores her and says she will go first
She spins the bottle and it's facing Kingsley but she uses her hand to point it at Obi
She asks Obi when he first met Dr Jide.

He says she was there and it was their first morning in Aji.
She says she wants the real answer.
He says she's been reading her blog post too much and he doesn't understand what's going on.

Peace spins the bottle and it lands on Kingsley.
Folake tells her she can tell him to say the truth or...
Kingsley says dare.
Folake says she can tell him to jump or to kiss or..
Peace says she wants kiss.

Kingsley laughs and asks if she wants to kiss him.
Peace says she wants him to kiss small doctor like they do in Oyibo film; a better kiss.
Kingsley says from experience he can tell her that Senami has what Peace just called better kiss.

He turns and kisses Senami.
Oviyon jumps in and pulls them apart then he pounces on Kingsley and gives him a punch.
The others pull him away.

Obi gets to the palace.
Otogan asks if he doesn't think he should call him Daddy sometimes.

Obi says he's sorry but he can't stay in Aji, he doesn't want him to take it the wrong way but he's not cut out to be a Prince and he sees Otogan doubting his identity sometimes.

Otogan tells him that he's only human and what he sees in Obi is a man in whose hands the future of Aji is safe.

He says he is doing something that will reassure him of the faith he has in him.
Oviyon is sleeping on the couch in his mother's house.

She is watching him.
He wakes up and she asks where her child has gone and why he's acting like this.
Oviyon says he just had a little to drink.
She says he's there while Fonton is ruling the village and getting cocky.

He tells her not to bring in witchcraft.
She says she doesn't know if Iya Minasu is punishing her from the grave.

She says she doesn't like to see him like this, if he has to go leave Aji to make it all stop, he should start going.
Dr. Jide Obi and the fake parents meet up in the bush.

Dr. Jide gives the parents 300 thousand naira each and they leave.

Obi says half of 4.4 million is his and he will just go to Ghana.
Dr. Jide tells him to hold on with the exit strategy for now as they are going to phase 2.
Obi says he already told Otogan he was leaving.

Dr. Jide asks if he thinks he spent two years of his life planning the whole thing and looking for the perfect candidate as an impostor just for 2 million naira.

Obi grabs him by the collar and asks what he's talking about.
Dr. Jide pushes him off and asks if he thinks it was easy to find him in the first place to do this.
He tells him to say bye bye to his moin moin days as they are now in the big leagues.

Oviyon is in his bedroom.
He gets a call from Neza.
Neza says he can't sleep.
Oviyon says it's same with him.

Neza asks if it's woman trouble.
Oviyon says he got into a fight and he doesn't understand the way he has been behaving.
Neza asks if the apparition was there.

Oviyon says he was.
Neza suggests he gets treated and sorts himself out before going after Senami as love can wait.
Petunia hears a knock in the middle of the night.
She answers the door and it's Half-a-day.
He asks if Mausi has received their gifts.

Petunia asks if that's what brought him that night and couldn't wait.
He asks where her man is.
She says he's sleeping.

He starts to undo his belt.
She tells him to put it back.
He asks if she didn't say she wanted to see black mamba.

She asks what it is.
He shows her.
She tells him to put it back inside as Fonton can come out.

He says if Fonton comes out, Fonton will want to fight him so does she want to him to beat up her husband.
She says no.
He asks if she wants to lose the support he has been giving them.

She says no.
He says so why is she talking like this? She was the one who told him not to go after another woman.

She begs him not to be upset as long as he assures her that he will be with her and not that small girl.
He says no problem.

She asks if he won't make any noise.
He asks who makes a noise out of the two of them.
He starts to undo his belt again.
Senami is checking Kingsley's face.

He says her boyfriend jumped him.
She says it was because he was baiting him all night though she can't understand how Oviyon is behaving.
He says he doesn't want to hear about her ex
boyfriend and he won't apologise for letting everyone know how important she is to him, if Oviyon wants to let someone go and pick his mother over them, then he deserves what he gets for it.

She says she's a doctor and just broke up with someone and Kingsley is her benefactor several times over.
He tells her to stop over thinking things; she wants it as much as he does.
He asks if she wants some kind of grand declaration.

She doesn't respond.
He says Aji is a dessert, an intellectual wasteland of superstition and hysteria and finger pointing; people call him a recluse as he doesn't go out because there is nothing to go out for till she walked in and demanded he had a heart.

She looks at him with pity.
He kisses her and she doesn't fight it.
He slowly and quietly leads her to the bedroom.
Otogan is asleep.
Obi comes into the bedroom.

He stares at Otogan for a while then puts a pillow behind him to make him more comfortable.
He sees an envelope on the bed and picks it up.
He takes out the document in it and it's Otogan revised will which includes Miyise.

Hie lawyer sent it for his signature and Otogan has signed it.
Obi is surprised.
