Fonton is sitting in his living room, seething as he remembers the humiliation Otogan put him through.


Petunia walks in and asks him why he woke up early.
He says he couldn't sleep.



She asks why.
He says if she sees what Otogan did to him...
She asks what.
He says Otogan wants to poke his nose in their business; he asked him for the record of the levy and made him carry his umbrella in the market in front of everybody.



She laughs.
He asks if she's finding it funny.
She says Otogan did it because he now recognises that Fonton is influential.
She tells him not to retaliate so that Otogan can relax and they will strike when he least expects it; they have to see their plan through to the end.
She asks if he wants to be Otogan.

He smiles and says he will become the next Chief.
Folake is walking through the village.
She sees Peace who is carrying bags of sachet water on her head.
She asks her about it.


Peace says she wants to work and save money.
Folake asks if it's because of Oviyon.
She asks what it has to do with Oviyon.
Folake tells her about the party at Kingsley's place



She begs Peace to come and assist her with the cooking.
Peace asks if Senami will be there.
Folake says she will be there but it's not a problem.
Akweyon comes to see Neza in the hut.
Neza is sleeping.


She lies down next to him.
He touches her lightly by the waist and says he was wondering when she would show up.
She sits up and starts feeling his body to check if he's okay.



He tells her he's fine and he was getting food and everything.
He sees the whip marks on her body and asks what happened to her.
Seyive walks in with food for Neza.



At the hut, Otogan tells the fake parents that he's grateful to them for saving the life of his son and for taking care of him.
They ask if they won't take care of their child.
He says they should know what he means; there are ways of making the transition.



He asks if they have a bank account so he can transfer some money to them.
The woman says their bank doesn't do transfers.
Otogan says it's a normal transaction.
He asks them for their bank details so he can send someone to pay money into the account.
The wife asks if he's trying to pay for their son.
Otogan says no.



The man asks if he thinks Obi is like catfish he can point and take home.
Seyive asks Akweyon what happened to her.
She checks her body and says she has TB.
Akweyon shakes her head.



Seyive asks if she wants to return to the shrine so that Mausi can finish her.
She begs her to come to the clinic and not joke around with such a serious condition.
Neza says Seyive is right.


Akweyon runs out of the hut.
Half-a-day comes to Fonton's place.
Fonton tells him that Otogan has begun to try them; he wants them to hand over half of the monies they collect to him.



Half-a-day asks what that means.
Fonton says he knew Half-a-day would see it that way
Half-a-day says Fonton would have to sort out the issue himself and he shouldn't allow the beef he has with Otogan spoil their business.
Fonton says so now it's his problem?



Half-a-day says he heard Fonton was made to carry Otogan's umbrella around the village
Fonton tells Petunia that now Half-a-day is being rude to him because of Otogan.



Petunia tells them to calm down.
Half-a-day says now that Otogan and the elders have their eyes on the security levy, very soon, they will start looking into their other activities.
Petunia says they should ignore him as he doesn't know Aji people; they know the people and they need someone to join forces with them, like Mausi.


Fonton and Half-a-day like the idea.
Dr. Jide is with Otogan.
He suggests Otogan gives the parents a little and see them come for more. as they must have rejected his offer because he didn't tell them how much it was.


He asks how he intends to pay them.
Otogan says he wanted to make a transfer.
Dr. Jide tells Otogan to make the transfer to him then he will take the parents to the bank and give it to them.



Otogan says it's like Miyise doesn't even want to stay.
Dr. Jide says Otogan has to make Obi know how important he is to him and Aji, so he needs to do something to that effect.
Iya Oviyon comes out of her house in the morning to see Oviyon drinking beer.



She asks what he's doing and what sort of life he's now leading, drinking all day.
He ignores her.
She tells him not to let her come back and meet him still drinking.


She leaves the house.
Peace comes to the house, all dressed up.
She says hello to Oviyon.
He asks where she's going.
She says she's going to Kingsley's house for the dinner.



He laughs and asks if they invited her too.
She asks what he means by that.
She storms off.
He calls her back but she ignores him.
He goes after her.



Neza is eating the food Seyive brought.
Seyive asks him what Akweyon said happened to him.
He asks if her sister talks.
She asks if he hasn't figured out that it's because of him that Mausi beat her.



He asks how she knows.
She says he's the only one Akweyon visits.
She gets upset that he's not saying anything.
She grabs the plate of food from him and packs it up.



Peace arrives at Kingsley's place and Folake opens the door for her.
Oviyon follows.
Folake directs Peace to the kitchen.



She stops Oviyon and asks if he knows it's Kingsley's house.
Oviyon says Kingsley invited him.
Folake reminds him that Senami would be there.
Oviyon says he's not there for Senami.
He burps and she says he's a drunk.



He tells her to get him coffee.
The fake parents join Otogan and Dr. Jide.
Otogan tells them that he didn't want to offend them and doesn't want to buy his son because if he wanted to do that, he would have gone to court and the tests would have proven that Obi is his son and the parents would be tagged kidnappers but he doesn't want to do that.



The parents and Dr. Jide get uncomfortable.
Otogan thanks them for taking care of Obi and coming to see him.



He says what he's giving is just for appreciation
and Dr. Jide will go with them to the bank so that they don't carry 5 million about.
They ask if he said 5 million.
Otogan asks if they don't want it.



They say they will take it.
Akweyon returns to the shrine.
There are gifts of yams, oil and a goat.
Mausi asks her if she knows who delivered them.
Senami returns home.



Folake says she needs to tell her something but she needs to be calm.
Kingsley walks in and says he was looking for Senami at the clinic.



She asks why he bothered.
Oviyon strolls in from the kitchen with a cup of coffee.
Senami says he was invited but she didn't think he would show up.



Oviyon burps.
Peace walks in and Senami asks Oviyon if he brought a date.



Folake says she invited Peace to help out.
Peace returns to the kitchen.
Oviyon leans on Senami and she pushes him off gently.



Oviyon sees the boy.
Kingsley walks away.
