Movie Story: Jemeji - Season 1 - Episode 101

Oviyon is outside his mother's house, drinking a cup of coffee.

The little boy is sitting nearby, watching him.
Iya Oviyon comes out of the house and tells Oviyon that she thought he already left for Lagos.
They laugh about it.

She gets serious and asks when he's a leaving.
He says he has no business in Lagos but when he decides to go, he will tell her.
She hugs him.
The little boy smiles at Oviyon.

Kingsley is having breakfast, wearing just his Pajamas pants.
Folake walks in and greets him cheerily.
He returns her greeting dryly.

She helps herself to the second plate.
He asks if he can help her with anything else.
She asks if he has anything to offer her.
He says maybe he can help her find what it is she left in his room.
She says it seems he's in a good mood.
He says it comes from a good night's rest with a clean conscience.
She says okay.
He says he's sure she didn't pay for the breakfast with her service charge.
She says she's taking From Senami's share.
Senami walks in wearing the top of Kingsley's Pajamas and his boxers.
She freezes when she sees Folake.
Folake says she thought they could walk to the clinic together but she can see.

She leaves.
Folake asks Kingsley why he didn't tell her Folake was there.
He says he thought she was sleeping.
He tells her there is breakfast for her.
She declines.
He says she looks good in his Pajamas and she should keep it up.
At the palace, Otogan tells Obi's parents that he's sad to see them go.
Obi asks if they can't say.

The man says they have to go
Otogan says they can always come to visit.
The woman starts crying.
Obi is clearly irritated. He tells her to stop.
The man tells Obi to kneel down so he can pray for him.
Obi is reluctant but he gets on his knees.
The man prays for him to always shine.
Dr. Jide arrives and says amen.
Otogan tells him they are going.
Dr. Jide begs them to stay.
They say they can't.

They pretend to be overcome by emotions.
Dr. Jide joins them.
The man stands up to leave.
Otogan, Obi and Jide walk them out.
Senami has freshened up and she's reading an article on her laptop.
Kingsley comes behind the couch to massage her shoulders.
He says she's so tense and he would have expected that she would be more relaxed.
She asks if he's fishing for compliments

He says she gave him a very vocal review last night.
She asks how he knows she wasn't faking it.
He says she wouldn't do that.
She says she would and would have so much fun having him freak out about it.
He asks what she's reading.
She says she's reading Folake's blog and wants
to see if she posted something about them.
He asks if Folake can stoop that low.
Senami says Folake has no idea when she's crossing the line.

Kingsley asks why they are still friends if Folake is that bad.
Senami says it's Folake and they came to Aji together.
Kingsley says he caught Folake snooping about his room.
Senami says she's so sorry and would talk to Folake about it.
He gives her a key to the front door.
She asks if he thinks it's necessary.

He says he tried but she's right, some people really don't know when they've crossed the line.
Senami enters the clinic.
Matron asks if those boys disturbed her on her way.
Senami asks what boys.
Matron tells her about Fonton's boys and the way they harass the villagers.
Dr. Jide walks in.

He is in an extremely happy mood.
He greets Senami and matron.
He tells Senami to keep up the good work as she's a classic.
Senami and matron wonder at his behaviour.
Seyive comes to Senami and tells her that Akweyon is infected.
Senami asks if she's coughing.
Seyive says she's not but she saw the symptoms on her hand.

Senami says the treatment should work as they caught it on time.
Seyive says the wounds on Akweyon's body are a lot worse than they used to be.
Senami says she knew Mausi was a fraud and liar but this is just something else.
Seyive starts crying.
Senami consoles her and says they will do something about it.
Folake sees Peace along the bush path.
She gives her some money for helping with the party.

She says Peace likes trouble o, to have set Senami and Kingsley up like that.
Peace says it was a game and she didn't know they would do the dare.
Folake asks if she knows anything about Kingsley.
Peace says she knows it's just him and his uncle remaining.
Folake asks if she knows any of the people
working for him.

Peace says she does but they are not from Aji.
Folake asks why he doesn't employ people from Aji.
Peace says she has to go as she doesn't want to be late.
Otogan tells Obi not to feel bad as he can always go to visit his parents.
He says he has something to cheer him up.
He gives him a copy of the revised will and says Obi is now sole heir to all his properties.

Obi says he doesn't deserve it.
Otogan tells him to just do a name change because the name on the document is Miyise; Obi and the lawyer can go together to Wesere to do it and sign.
Obi says he's sorry but he can't sign.
He gives the document back to Otogan and walks out.

Otogan is confused.
Oviyon is on his farm.
He tells the little boy to make himself useful.
One of his workers comes late to work.
He tells Oviyon that he's sorry he's late but he was held at the toll gate and told that the levy has increased.
Oviyon asks what sort of rubbish is going on with Fonton's boys.
Iya Oviyon brings food to him on the farm.
She says it's to tell him thank you for not leaving her and going to Lagos.

Kingsley comes to meet Senami at work.
He says he came for a consultation.
She asks if he's being serious.
He gives her a kiss then pulls her up and puts her to sit on the desk.
He starts kissing her neck and she holds on to him.
They hear someone coming and quickly break apart.

Seyive walks in and informs Senami about a patient.
Kingsley tells Senami that he's waiting for her.
He leaves and she has the look of someone smitten.
Obi meets Dr. Jide in the bush.
Dr. Jide asks what the problem and if he's missing his parents.
He laughs alone at his own joke.
Obi says it's not funny as it was meant to be a simple job, he gets in, get some money and moves on.

Dr. Jide says the problem is that Obi is thinking small, he thinks the money is big money when it's just chicken change.
He asks if Obi knows who he is and what he has access to.
He says they can make money selling lands.
Obi says he just wants to take his share of the money and go.

Dr. Jide asks why he's in a rush.
Obi says Chief put his name in the will and wants him to change his name officially to Miyise.
Dr. Jide says if Obi is a benefactor then they will have to wait till Otogan...
Obi asks if he's saying till Chief dies and if he's planning to kill him.
Dr. Jide tells him not to be crass.
Obi says he might be a fraud but he's not a
murderer and Chief is a good man who doesn't deserve such.

Dr. Jide asks if he hasn't learnt that nobody gets what he or she deserves.
Obi warns him to stay away from Chief.
He walks away and Dr. Jide says it means Obi is staying.
