Movie Story: Jemeji - Season 1 - Episode 96

Senami and Kingsley are kissing in the living room.

He asks if they should go to the bedroom.
Senami looks like she suddenly realised what she's doing.
She says she's sorry.

She takes her clothes and runs off.
Kingsley is disappointed but he doesn't go after her.
Obi, his parents and Dr. Jide are still in the palace.
Obi tells Otogan that he will look for a place for his parents to stay.

Otogan says they will stay at the Palace and get first class treatment.
Obi isn't thrilled at the idea.
The parents agree to stay.
Otogan tells them that there will be festival
later in the day to welcome them to Aji.

Senami runs into Folake's room and tells her to help pack her things back to the lodge.
Folake asks what happened.
Senami says it wasn't supposed to be long term; she needed help as a friend and Kingsley helped her.

Folake says she hopes Senami is not telling her to also return because she knows Kingsley won't rrefund her service charge.
Senami says that's part of the problem; Kingsley asked Folake to pay a service charge and it makes her feel like she is taking advantage of him.

Folake asks what exactly happened.
Senami says she's not hiding anything and nothing happened.
Folake says she will help her out but she should know the corper's Lodge doesn't have a generator or AC or hot men like Kingsley.

Senami says whatever.
Folake says she can't help today as she wants to attend the feast.
Otogan and Obi are alone.
Otogan asks Obi why he lied to him about his parents travelling to Dubai when it's obvious they haven't been inside an airport before.
Obi says he didn't want them to feel bad because they are poor and live in a one bedroom apartment; he loves them upon the fact that his father lost his business and his mother's health is not too good.

Otogan says they took him in without knowing him and he should be grateful to have such parents.
Obi says he's promising it won't happen again.
Otogan says Obi is his son and he won't allow him smear his responsibilities with lies.
Oviyon comes to see Neza in the hut.

Neza says it seems the doctor has healed Oviyon.
Oviyon says that's why she's there.
Neza asks why the two of them are so stubborn.
Oviyon says it's over between them.
Neza asks what he did to Senami.

Oviyon says he doesn't want to talk about it.
He sees the little boy shaking his head.
He shouts at him, asking why he's shaking his head.
Folake is outside.
She looks into Kingsley's parked car and sees one leg of a female shoe.

She tries to open the door.
Kingsley's driver comes from behind to ask what she's doing.
She asks why there is one leg of a female shoe in the car.
He says it's for his wife.
She asks what his wife was doing in his Oga's car.

He says he dropped her at home yesterday.
She says so the wife came down with just one shoe?
He says that's it.
She obviously doesn't believe him.
She tells him to greet his wife.

The villagers are gathered for the feast at the Palace.
Otogan introduces Obi's fake parents to them and says they are now a part of Aji.
Half-a-day's boys walk in and send force some villagers to leave their seats and stand so that Fonton and Petunia can sit.

Otogan ignores them and tells the villagers that nothing will distract them so they will eat and be merry.
Fonton stands up and his boys start hailing him.
He says he wants to support the feast with 2 kegs or palmwine.

Otogan says he already announced that there is enough to drink and take home.
Oviyon says he doesn't know how to explain it.
Neza tells him to just try.
Oviyon tells him that the boy from the accident is there and he's looking at him; he follows him everywhere that was why he left Aji and went to see the boy's parents but he still sees him.
Neza looks worried.

He asks if the boy talks to him and if the boy can hear him.
Oviyon asks the boy why he is nodding when he has he never talked to him.
He tells Neza that the boy never talks, he just
carries his useless green ball around,
tormenting his life.
Neza advises him not to tell anyone.
Oviyon asks who else he can tell apart from Neza and Senami.

He says Senami suggested he goes for a brain scan.
Neza says it's not about a brain scan.
Oviyon says he has to go.
He tells the boy to follow him.
The villagers are feasting.

Otogan asks Dr. Jide how he would tell Miyise parents what he needs.
Dr. Jide tells him to look at them.
The parents are in a corner, eating hungrily.
Otogan says he won't allow Obi leave after his service year.

Dr. Jide says that was why he asked Otogan to take a look at the parents; people like that can part with their son for the right amount.
Otogan asks how much.
Dr. Jide says like 5 million.
Otogan exclaims.

Jide reminds him that they've been taking care of Obi all these years.
Petunia has left the party and is making a phone call in the bush.
She calls Half-a-day to ask why he left the party without her and he's been running from her since that day.

She says she won't bite him and even if she does, it won't hurt him.
Fonton runs up to her.
He asks why she's leaving without him.
She says the party was noisy so she came out to make a phone call to Half-a-day to find out the people who have paid their levy.

Otogan's servant comes to inform Fonton that Otogan would like to see him in the morning.
Fonton asks what for.
The servants says it's in regards to the neighbourhood watch service.
Fonton panics.

Inside the palace, Obi's fake father presents Otogan with a bottle or local gin.
A guard pours shots for the parents, Otogan, Obi and Dr. Jide.
Obi's father says when Obi graduated, they were drinking a lot now Obi is leaving him with his mother and brothers.

Otogan says he thought Obi was an only child.
The father says they are the neighbour's children; when their father died, he took them in.
Otogan says he will give them stuff to take to Obi brothers

Folake enters Kingsley's room.
She looks around the room and opens the wardrobe.
Kingsley walks in and sees her searching his wardrobe.
She jumps back and tells him he gave her a fright.
She asks if it isn't Senami's room.
He says not unless she's sharing it with him.

She tries to leave but he stops her and asks what she was looking for.
She asks if he has anything to hide.
He stares at her.
She says he must have done something to make Senami want to go back to the lodge; maybe it's another woman.

He says really?
She tells him not to deny it because she saw one leg of her shoe in his car and he should be ashamed of himself for leading Senami on.
She says she's sorry to have intruded but she hopes he understands.

He says he hopes she understands too.
She leaves the room.
Kingsley looks really disturbed.
