'Jemeji' Season 1 Episode 92 Recap - Aired: Tuesday 11 July 2017

The goons ask Oviyon who he is.
One of them recognises him and tells his colleagues that he is Oviyon.
Another asks him if Fonton is his uncle.
Oviyon says yes.
They hail him.

The cab driver reverses his cab and leaves.

The boys ask Fonton where he's coming from.
He says he's coming from Lagos.
They ask him to bring what he has got for them.
He gives them 400 naira and they tell him not to disrespect them.
He brings out some 500 naira notes but before he can take out what he wants to give to them, they snatch all the notes from him.



Dr. Jide's wife comes to Kingsley's place to shout and call Folake out.
Folake comes out but starts to go back inside when she sees her.
Mrs. Jide warns her not to leave unless she intends to run from Aji and never come back.
Folake asks what she wants.
Mrs. Jide asks if she remembers what happened last time.
Folake tells her not to touch her.
Mrs. Jide tells her to keep her legs close and leave her husband.
Folake asks if she wasn't the one who called to tell her last time that her husband was disturbing her.
Mrs Jide mellows and says after Folake called her, she threw him out and now she wants to know if he's with her.
Folake says he's not.
She takes pity on the woman and invites her inside.



Fonton is with Half-a-day and his goons at Sulah's joint.
Fonton asks Half-a-day if the receipts should have his signature.
Half-a-day tells him not to be upset.
Fonton complains that he wasn't even informed before the boys mounted the toll gate.
Half-a-day apologises again.
Fonton says he doesn't like what they are doing; having their eyes on his property.
Half-a-day tells him not to ruin the business they are doing.

Fonton brings up the toll gate again.
Half-a-day says the money they get from it is very little.
Fonton asks if he had anything to do with the theft on the farm.
Half-a-day tells him everything is under control.
Fonton gives the phone Iya Francis gave him to Half-a-day.
Half-a-day is quiet.
Fonton urges him to say something.
Half-a-day says Fonton should know what they are doing; transport business.
Fonton asks if it's smuggling.
Half-a-day tells him to keep his voice down.
He says Aji is at Badagry and Badagry is a border town.
Fonton exclaims.
Half-a-day asks if he thinks that security charge is what they will live on.
He gives Fonton the phone and tells him to pose with it around the village as a big man.
He leaves with his boys.


At the shrine, Mausi asks Akweyon where she's coming from.
Akweyon points in the direction she came from.
Mausi asks why she keeps the food she tells her to throw away.
Akweyon remains mute.
Mausi asks when she became so greedy.
She says whatever she's hiding, she will find out but in the meantime, she will go without food.


Neza calls Senami.
He asks if she has seen Oviyon as he's been trying to call him
Senami tells him Oviyon took off to Lagos without telling anybody.
Neza says it's good news as Oviyon finally left the forsaken village.
Senami asks if he's happy his best friend took off.
Neza says he must have his reasons as Oviyon usually puts his friend's first before himself.
Senami gets sarcastic and says maybe they should throw him a party then.
Neza asks if it comes with food as his tummy is rumbling.
She asks if Akweyon didn't bring him food.
He says she didn't, that was why he was calling Oviyon.

Senami gives Seyive money to get Oviyon food.


Iya Oviyon is surprised to see Oviyon in the house.
She says she was packing to come to Lagos already.
He says she was right when she said Lagos wasn't good for him.
She asks if he will stay put in Aji now.
He doesn't respond.
She tries to mask her joy.


Seyive brings the food she bought to Neza.
She says Senami gave her money.
He says Senami is a good doctor.

He complains that Seyive's sister didn't bring food to him.
She asks if he has asked her where she gets food from and if he's not scared to eat food meant for sacrifice.
He says he didn't have a choice.
She doesn't understand him.
He switches to pidgin and says 'Na condition make crayfish bend.'
She says he talks like one who is educated sometimes and talks 'Babylon things' sometimes.
He tells her not to judge a book by its cover, just like no one would think she's Akweyon sister.
She says there is a little more people don't know.
He tells her to talk.
She says maybe the next time she comes.


Mrs Jide is in Folake's room.
She says Jide has been sleeping in his car for a while but now she wants him to come back home.
Folake says she can see he's not with her.
Mrs Jide asks how Folake allowed herself to follow him out.
Folake says she just wanted to make a boy jealous that night.
She asks how she knew Jide was with her that night.
Mrs Jide says Lionel call her.
Folake asks who that is.
Mrs Jide says he was someone who Jide wanted to invest in his business, a nice young man.
Folake asks if he's in Aji.
Mrs Jide says he knows Folake because he was the one who called her name and said she was with Jide at the palmwine shack that night.
Folake asks how long he has known Jide for.
The wife says since last year.
Folake shows her a photo of Obi on her phone.
The wife says he's the one.
Folake is gobsmacked.


Oviyon calls Neza on the phone.
Neza says he heard the good news that Oviyon left Aji.
Oviyon asks if he's happy.
Neza says he's happy.
Oviyon says he's sorry to disappoint him as he's back.
Neza asks what for.
Oviyon says he will check up on him later.
Neza tells him to go and see Senami first because when he spoke to her, she was upset.


Folake comes to see Obi at the Palace.
She says there is a form they need to fill at the local government and a lady wants to help them fill it.
He says they can do it during CDS.
She says the lady offered to help them fill it.
She asks for his full name.
He says she already knows
She asks for his middle name.
He ways it's Andrew.
She is surprised and disappointed.
He asks her for her own middle name.
She says it's Titi.


Mrs Jide finds her husband in his office.
She asks why he was sleeping in his car and not at a hotel so that people would think of her as a wicked woman.
He says that's not it.
He begs her to forgive him as it would never happen again.
She says she hopes so.
He asks if she's forgiving him.
She says he can come home but she's not forgiving him.
He says it's fine; he would do whatever she says and he will be on his best behaviour from now on.
She leaves.


It's nighttime at the shrine.
Mausi tells Akweyon that she needs to be cleansed.
Akweyon is sitting on the floor.
Mausi dips some leaves into a liquid in a Calabash and rubs Akweyon with the leaves.
She sees Akweyon covering a part of her arm.
She drags the arm and Akweyon tries to still cover it.
Mausi examines the arm and asks what she's hiding.
