'Jemeji' Season 1 Episode 93 Recap - Aired: Wednesday 12 July 2017

Kingsley is sitting in his car, somewhere in Aji.
Oviyon walks by and stops.
Kingsley says it's a funny way of being in Lagos.
Oviyon says he's back.
Kingsley says he can guess Oviyon is on his way to his house to see Senami.
Oviyon says it's none of his business but he is.
Kingsley says he never pegged Oviyon as an optimist.
He asks if he has always been attracted to broken things.
Oviyon asks what he means by that.
Kingsley says that actually says a lot about him; the thing about cracks is they don't wait for you to go to Lagos and come back, they become bigger cracks.
Oviyon asks if that was the plan.
Kingsley says it's not like he told Oviyon how he had been filling the cracks.
Oviyon calls him a liar.
Kingsley asks if he's lying about the way she hums when she's cutting vegetables in his kitchen or the smell of the shea butter when she's fresh out of the shower or how peacefully she sleeps after she's been well taken care of.
Oviyon tells him to stop.
Kingsley tells him to hop into the car so he can give him a ride.
Oviyon ignores him.
He drives off.
Oviyon sees the boy.

Peace is serving food to Half-a-day's boys in front of Fonton's house.
Iya Oviyon sees her and asks what she's doing.
Peace says she's working.
Iya asks what sort of job she's doing.
Peace tells her to leave because Petunia doesn't like people lurking around.
Iya asks for Fonton.
One of the boys approaches her and she asks him if Peace is his help.
He asks why she is being rude to him.
She tells him to beat her.
He picks up a stick and Peace gets in their middle.
He pulls Peace aside.

Half-a-day comes out to ask Iya if she got the food they sent to her.
He tells her that the person protecting her isn't there so it's best she leaves.
She calls Peace.
Peace reminds Iya of the time she said Peace's mother threw her out.
She says Iya is on her own now.
The goons order Iya to leave.

Oviyon comes to the hut.
Neza is excited to see him.
Oviyon says Neza sounds and looks better.
Neza asks what chased him out if Aji.
Oviyon says demons.
Neza asks if the demons liked it in Lagos or followed him back home.
They hear a strange sound and Oviyon hears the sound of a ball bouncing.
Neza asks if he has seen Senami.
Oviyon says he has too many things on his plate and doesn't know what to do with his life.
Neza says at least he has his life.

Oviyon keeps looking outside.
Neza makes him turn his face and focus back inside the hut.
Oviyon asks if Neza has decided to go for proper treatment.
Neza says he is going to Wesere; Oviyon should tell Senami that and they should sort themselves out.
Oviyon says he thinks Senami has sorted herself out already.
Neza says he doesn't understand.
Oviyon says he saw Kingsley and he told him he and Senami are now living together.
Neza asks how.
Oviyon says 'Living' together.
Neza asks what Senami said about it.
Oviyon's look tells Neza that he hasn't asked Senami.
Neza asks why he is just taking what the guy said without talking to her.
Oviyon says Kingsley said it.
Neza tells him to go and see Senami today.

Senami and Folake meet Kingsley talking to a man in the living room
Kingsley introduces him as Saul, an employee.
Senami and Folake shake hands with him.
Kingsley says he was just leaving.
Senami begs him to stay as she is about to cook.
Kingsley says he has to leave.
The guy leaves.

Oviyon gets to his farm and meets the goons.
Half-a-day's henchman asks for his levy.
Oviyon has no idea what he's talking about.
The goon says he has to pay.

One of Oviyon's worker walks up to them and says they have paid the dues.
They let him and Oviyon through.
His worker tells him to be careful with the guys as it's his uncle that is in charge.
Oviyon asks if Otogan is aware.
The worker says Otogan was the one who appointed them.

Kingsley, Folake and Senami are eating.
Senami asks Kingsley what Saul does for him.
Kingsley says he handles logistics.
Folake says she can't wait for the new batch of corpers coming in.

Kingsley asks Senami if she met Oviyon yet.
She looks surprised.
He says Oviyon is back.
She says she hasn't seen him.
He says he just thought.
She bangs her cutlery loudly and mumbles to herself then drops the food and excuses herself.
Kingsley tells Folake that the food is delicious.

Peace sees Oviyon and goes to him.
She asks about her Iya.
He says he had too many things to handle and he forgot.
She asks what he means by that.
He sees the boy.

Peace loses it and starts shouting.
She asks if he's looking at her like trash because she asked him to look for her mother.
He says he's sorry.
She tells him to keep his apology; after all she has done for him and his mother.
She warns him never to look for her again.

Fonton enters Sulah's joint and sees Oviyon.
He asks if Oviyon won't greet him as an elder.
Oviyon ignores him.

The goons harass a hawker and ask if she has paid her dues.
Oviyon asks Fonton if he can't see his boys harassing the girl.
Fonton says Oviyon didn't see what was happening before poking his nose.

Half a day's henchman calls Half-a-day on the phone to tell him that Fonton is being disrespected by Oviyon.
Sulah tells Oviyon to calm down.

The henchman takes Fonton aside then he and his boys descend on Oviyon.

Oviyon is lying on a bench, bruised.
A crowd has gathered outside.
Peace screams and runs into the joint.
She begs them to leave him alone.

The goons leave.

Oviyon stands up.
He's bleeding from the face.

Folake sees Obi and asks where he's going to
He says he's going for the cultural lessons with Fonton.
He asks where she's going.
She says she's staying out of trouble so nobody's wife will fight her.
He asks what she means.
She reminds him that Dr. Jide's wife harassed her last time.
He asks why she just remembered that.
She says maybe she should have reported him to his wife.
He asks if she wants to break their home.
She asks if he knows how she can reach them.
He asks how he would know.
She says so he doesn't know his wife?
He asks how.
She says she would ask around.
He tells her to ask matron.
She says okay and leaves.

Seyive brings food to Neza.
She tells him that she made the food.
he tastes it and says even his ancestors never tasted a meal so good.
He asks if she has seen her sister.
She says she hasn't but knows where to find her.
He says if Mausi is the one holding her sister, she has to be very careful as Mausi is very wicked.

Obi is at Fonton's place.
A woman comes to pay her levy.
Fonton collects it discreetly, records it in a register then whispers to her to collect her receipt from the boys outside.

He goes back to Obi.
Obi asks about birthright rituals.
Fonton says Obi has to do them but he can't start yet as he doesn't understand.
Obi asks if there are more he needs to do.
Fonton says of course.

A goon walks in to tell Fonton that Half-a-day wants to see him.
Fonton says he's busy.
The goon ways it's urgent.

Fonton excuses himself.

Obi takes photos of the pages on the levy register.

He finds a bucket of what looks like blood and takes photos of it.
He also tastes it then dips a handkerchief into it.
He returns to his seat and hides the handkerchief in his pocket.

Fonton returns.
