'Jemeji' Season 1 Episode 89 Recap - Aired: Thursday 6 July 2017

Senami is at the palace.
Obi asks her if Otogan is okay.
She says he's sleeping but he suffered a mini-stroke due to high blood pressure.
Fonton exclaims.
Senami says there may be a major stroke around the corner.
Fonton exclaims even louder.
He asks why Otogan.
Obi says he's not dead yet.
Senami says he needs to come to the hospital for more tests but he should rest for now.
Fonton says he hopes he's not on his way to yonder.

In the morning, Fonton meets Petunia in the living room, counting money.
She tells him that people have started paying the levy but people like Papa Francis are refusing to pay.
He says they have a serious problem.
She asks what it is.
He says Otogan told him that the drugs Half-a-day and his boys supplied were fakes.
Petunia turns away.
Fonton says they have put him in trouble.
She tells him to just say he had no idea.
She asks what Otogan had to say.
He says Otogan fainted.
She is shocked.
He says the doctor said it was a condition known as TIA.
She says what they have been looking for is finally happening but first, she has to go and get the boys to make the defaulters pay.
He suggests they let Papa Francis off the hook.
She says she will deal with them all with iron fists.
He tries to reason with her but she tells him to leave it to her.

Senami is in the living room.
Kingsley walks in wearing just a pair of shorts.
She asks what's going on.
He says he has come to collect.
She asks why he's undressed.
He says she promised to show him some exercises to help his leg.
She asks why he's not wearing a shirt.
He says it's hot.
She looks like really flustered.
He asks if she's uncomfortable.
She says no.

She sits on the couch and shows him the moves by extending her leg and dropping it.
He tries it but finds it difficult.
She goes on her knees in front of him and supports his leg.
She asks how much she's getting paid for their arrangement.
He says she never asked for money before so is she in trouble?
She says her dad cut off her allowance.
He asks for her account number.
Still on her knees, she reaches for her phone on the couch.

Folake walks in, takes the scene in and asks if she's interrupting anything.
Senami looks like she was actually caught doing something bad.
Folake tells them to get a room next time.
She walks out.

Jonah and Oviyon are having breakfast.
Jonah suggests Oviyon calls his friend Geoffrey, for a job.
He tells him to be very careful this time as he knows they were supposed to meet last night but Oviyon didn't go.
Oviyon says it wasn't deliberate.

The little boy appears.

Jonah calls Geoffrey and invites him to the house.

Senami comes to check up on Neza.
Seyive is with her.

Senami tells Neza to get Akweyon to wait for her so she can test her for TB.
Neza says ever since he mentioned her sister, she ran away.
Senami is shocked that Akweyon has a sister.
Seyive signals for him not to say.
Senami sees her and asks what's going on.

Dr. Jide brings Otogan to the Palace.
Otogan sends his guards out of the car.
Dr. Jide asks if anything is wrong.
Otogan says he wants to thank him for taking him to Wesere for the check up.
Dr Jide says it's not a problem.
He asks what made his blood pressure go up.
Otogan asks how accurate DNA tests are.
Dr. Jide says they are highly accurate.
Otogan says he is having his doubts about Miyise because when he took off his clothes to play ball, he didn't see any birthmark.
Dr. Jide assures him that the DNA is accurate and Miyise is his son.

Geoffrey comes to Jonah's house.
He's excited to see Oviyon.

Jonah leaves for work.

Geoffrey asks Oviyon if he's really a farmer.
Oviyon says it's not as bad as he thinks because he just supervises.
Geoffrey asks why he ran.
Oviyon says the accident messed him up.
Geoffrey asks if he's good now.
Oviyon says he is.
Geoffrey says his company is doing well but no one designs like Fonton so he would like him to come on board.

Geoffrey leaves.

Oviyon looks up and says he's finally free.

Senami and Seyive are outside the hut.
Senami asks if Akweyon is really her sister.
Seyive says they're not supposed to say it out loud because Mausi could hear.
Senami asks why she told Neza.
Seyive says it seems Akweyon likes him so she wanted him to speak to her
Senami asks how it is that nobody knows they are related.
Seyive says they are not from Aji.
Senami asks how they got there.
Seyive says Mausi.
Senami says she knew it.

Seyive says when they were kids, their father molested Akweyon and she tried to speak up but the family members didn't believe her so Akweyon decided to go to Mausi's shrine to swear, Mausi confirmed she was telling the truth and said Seyive also knows about it but Seyive was too scared to admit, Mausi then said the Oracle told her that her sister would be the next Akweyon.
Senami says Mausi took advantage of the situation.
Seyive says Mausi actually saved her sister because their father would have continued.
She says her sister had dreams and aspirations and wanted to go to school but what she is doing right now wasn't what she had planned for herself and it's all because of her (Seyive).
She says she feels guilty that's why she came to Aji, to see if she can help her sister but her sister doesn't even want to talk to her.

Senami returns to Kingsley's place.
He asks if everything is okay.
She asks what he thinks about Mausi and Akweyon.
He says he doesn't have enough information to form an opinion.
He asks if something happened with them.
She says it's not her secret to tell.
She mumbles that the poor girl probably has a medical condition and can't get away from that woman.

He transfers some money into her account using his phone.
She is shocked when she gets the alert.
She says it's more than fair.
He gives her a gift bag with pink hearts printed on it and says he thought she needed a little pick-me-up after her break up.
She tells him to take it easy with the niceness because Folake could walk in and think he's hitting on her.
He chuckles then looks serious and says she might be right.
He stands up and leaves the room.
Senami looks gobsmacked.

Otogan is asleep on his throne.
Dr. Jide is attending to him.

Obi walks in and Jide tells him they can talk as Otogan is not waking up anytime soon.
Obi asks if he did anything to him.
Jide says he sedated Otogan so that Obi can go and get the papers.
He says he has given him a golden opportunity and he should make sure he doesn't fail to utilise it.

Geoffrey and Oviyon come to meet a client at a bar.
Oviyon starts to make a pitch but the boy suddenly appears.
He falters in his speech and he is unable to get back on track as the boy starts hitting him on the head with his ball.
Oviyon tells him to stop.
Jonah and the client look confused.

The boy hits Oviyon hard and he passes out.
The client asks Geoffrey if this is how Oviyon is.
Geoffrey tries to wake Oviyon up.

Obi brings the stack of document to Dr. Jide.
He asks what the plan is.
Dr. Jide says he will take them to Wesere to make copies then bring them back.
Obi asks when he will fix the birthmark.
Dr Jide says he will fix it when he returns.

Fonton walks in and asks them what's going on.
