'Jemeji' Season 1 Episode 88 Recap - Aired: Wednesday 5 July 2017

At the clinic, Dr. Jide tells Matron to pack up the fake drugs and get him the address of the company that sold them.
Matron tells him Fonton got the drugs.
He asks for the address still and tells Matron to talk to Fonton.
Matron asks if it wouldn't be better for him to talk to them as he's the one in charge.
Dr. Jide says he heard Fonton now moves about with some boys.
Matron asks if that's why he wants her to be the one to talk to him.
He says no, he's in charge and would do it.
His facial expression tells a different story.

Senami walks in and he tells her to consider herself lucky that he didn't report her to her zonal office
Senami says 1. she's there because she wants to be and not because she cares about getting reported, 2. she will have regular working hours and she will not cover for him and his negligence of the clinic and 3. If he takes credit for her work again, she will report him for negligence.
He says she wouldn't dare.
She says it's not a dare but reality and he's welcome to try her.

Matron meets Senmai in her office and asks if she's okay.
Senami asks what she has missed.
Matron says the only serious case was the boy with the convulsions.
Senami says she saw Akweyon at her grandmother's house when she went to take care of Neza and it's as if she was taking care of him and giving him food.
She asks if she thinks Mausi has plans for Neza.
Matron is surprised.

Oviyon returns to Jonah's house.
he sits in the living room, wiping the blood from his face.
He sees the boy and he doesn't flinch.
He asks why the doesn't show himself to his parents instead.
The boy is quiet.
Oviyon says he can't bring him back from the dead no matter how long he follows him.

Jonah walks in and sees Oviyon talking to himself.
He asks what's going on.
Oviyon says he didn't know he was back.
Jonah asks if that gives him the right to talk to himself.
Oviyon says he was practising.
Jonah asks if he's now an actor.
Oviyon says he met a girl.
Jonah asks if he's doing it for Peace.
Oviyon says he's done with Peace but he's involved with one girl they all knew when they were younger and she's back now in Aji as a corper.
Jonah asks how Peace took it.
Oviyon says they never dated they were just...
Jonah tells him to stop lying; no wonder she fell sick and he had to take her to the hospital at Wesere. He asks if she's better.
Oviyon says she is.

Jonah says he called Fonton and he told him about the child drowning.
Oviyon says he didn't want another dead child added to his list.
Jonah asks what happened.
He says he saw the child and froze.
Jonah says it's time for Oviyon to leave Aji for good.

Iya Oviyon called Jonah and asks to speak with Oviyon.
Oviyon doesn't have a choice but to answer.
She asks why he left her.
He says he wants to find a way to bring her over to Lagos as well.
She asks what that means.

Fonton addresses the villagers and tells them that the monthly levy is 500 naira.
Everyone exclaims.
Sulah tells him it's too much.
Fonton says if they don't want to pay, then he will hands off and he doesn't care what happens to them.
He asks Petunia if she has anything to say.
She tells them that she doesn't want to chase anyone about for their money.
The crowd disperses.

Matron asks Fonton when he became a tax collector.
He says it's security levy and even she has to pay.
She asks if he would send his boys to her if she doesn't pay.
He says she's his 'person.'
She tells him that soon, the boys will flog him.

She asks why he bought fake drugs.
He is shocked.
She tells him that Chief already knows.

Petunia walks up to them and says she hopes Zansi won't say she's not paying the levy because she's Fonton's former wife.
Matron says soon, all this will scatter.
Fonton warns her not to speak to his wife that way.

Senami enters the Palace.
Otogan asks if she saw the scar on Obi's leg when she was treating him.
She says Matron treated him and she saw it.
She asks if there is a problem.
He says it's nothing.

She tells him about the fake drugs Fonton supplied.
He sends a guard to call Fonton and he thanks Senami.
Senami leaves.

Senami is back at Kingsley's.
She calls her bank to complain that her cheque didn't clear.
She is told that her account has been blocked.
She asks who did it.

She calls Sesinu and tells her that their Dad blocked her account.
She asks what he wants her to do and how she would survive.
Sesinu says she should have thought about that before being so stubborn.
She tells her to just come home.
Senami begs her for a few bucks.
Sesinu says no, as she has decided to stay in Aji, she should sort herself.

Oviyon is trying to make a phone call.
The little boy shakes his head.
Oviyon tells him to stop shaking his head as he would have done the same if he was in his shoes.

Senami gets a phone call from Oviyon but he doesn't say anything.
She calls his name repeatedly but he doesn't respond.

Fonton enters the Palace.
Otogan asks if he was asked to put cake drugs in the clinic.
Fonton says he sent someone to get the drugs and he wasn't aware they were fake.

Obi comes in.
Otogan asks where he's coming from.
Obi says he went to help a pupil with class work.

Otogan tells him to take off his trousers.
Obi asks what's going on.
Fonton exclaims.

Otogan tries to forcefully pull down Obi's trousers.
Obi holds on to his trousers.
Otogan holds his chest and slumps.

Obi and Fonton cry for help.
